Úlohy s pevnými intervaly prací a endogenní náhodou / Fixed interval scheduling problems with endogenous uncertainty

Hamerníková, Iva January 2020 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the fixed interval scheduling (FIS) problems with random delays. Firstly, we introduce the concept of FIS problems and the exogenous and endogenous uncertainty. In the next chapter we will summarize the FIS problems under decision dependent randomness and their relation to the robust coloring. We will extend previous results with proposing a new FIS problem with maintenance. This problem is a specific case of a decision-dependent probabilities as it allows to use a specific type of a job - the maintenance, which positively impacts the probability distributions of job delays. We start with defining a problem, where maintenance must be assigned only before regular jobs and then we propose the general case, when maintenances appears during the whole processing period. We show why this approach leads to an optimal solution and provide a detailed example of a small problem. We also discuss some extensions of our problem. Finally, we conduct a numerical study. We solve the FIS maintenance problem with the Cplex solver for a few different settings of inputs. It seems that the maintenance is useful only for certain settings, such as jobs with high probability of having a delay or the price of outsourcing being much higher than the cost of maintenance. It is also shown that the problem...

Domácí práce v rámci stejnopohlavních párů / Housework within same-sex couples

Kounová Roubíčková, Karolína January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to provide the insight into the issue of housework among same-sex couples from their perspective. The research was conducted in sense of feminist perspective, which main considered advantages are increased reflexivity in relation to power at all stages of research and more space for the perspective of participators themselves. As a basic technique for data collection semi-structured dyadic interviews with each partner of the couple separately were used, they focused on their individual construction of reality in the context of housework among these couples, but also on participants' thoughts about housework in general. Three lesbian and two gay couples participated in this research. The analysis shows that there prevails egalitarian gender ideology in the context of housework which corresponds to the egalitarian view of the division of housework among same-sex couples in minds of the participants. The division of housework within the participating same- sex couples was mainly governed by the principle of fairness of the distribution, which consists of an equal division of household chores and is affected by personal preferences and previous experience in performing household chores. Fairness of the division, however, rather than with actual equal division of housework is...

Dřevozpracující průmysl v Jihočeském kraji - různorodost v hodnocení rizik / Wood-processing industry in South Bohemia - variety of health risk assessment

SEDLÁČKOVÁ, Lucie January 2019 (has links)
In my diploma thesis I deal with the issue of the working environment in the woodworking industry and the diversity of the associated risks, such as noise, dust, vibrations, chemicals, physical load and working position. This issue is current due to the rise of custom joinery. Demand also rises for the quality hard wood and its products, so part of my work deals with this issue as well. I find problematic the variability of the work environment related to measurable environmental parameters. The theoretical part will be based on literature and legislation related to this issue. The areas related to wood-processing operations will be detailed. This issue is handled mainly in relation to the hygiene of work and occupational medicine. Therefore the legislation and terminology, on which the practical part is based, devote a considerable part of the theoretical part. Three companies operating in Southern Bohemia were deliberately selected for research. The practical part is based on the measurement protocols of the individual working environment factors. I obtained the results using secondary analysis of data from measurement protocols of individual factors, professional literature, decrees, government regulations and laws. Two objectives and three research questions have been set for research. Objective 1: The work will identify risk factors for the work of woodworkers. Objective 2: The work will evaluate proposals for employers' precautions to protect the health of workers in individual woodworking plants. V1: Are there significant differences in the occurrence of risk factors in woodworking with regard to the way wood and its products are processed? V2: Are there significant differences in the precautions for the health protection in wood production according to the way of processing of wood and its products? V3: How does hardwood dust affect woodworking technology and health protection precautions? The first objective was chosen for the factual description of the working environment of individual companies, as the individual operations differ significantly from the occurring risk factors and their risk. The second objective was chosen with regard to the importance of properly chosen health protection precautions. Failure to comply with the employer's obligations linked to the protection of workers' health may result in serious and permanent damage to health. The importance of appropriately chosen precautions results from the final part of my work.

Hodnocení rizik, prevence a podpora zdraví na pracovišti vybraného podniku v Olomouckém kraji / Risk assessment, prevention and health support at a workplace of a selected plant in the Olomouc administrative region

SVOBODOVÁ, Klára January 2011 (has links)
The objective of this work was to assess the health risk of local muscular stress of the upper limbs associated with the operator's job at a workplace of a selected plant in the Olomouc administrative region and to propose adequate provisions. Three research questions were asked: (i) "Are the permitted levels, set as percent fractions of the maximum load, complied with in the operator's job?" (ii) "Are the hygiene limits regarding the numbers of movements complied with in the operator's job?" (iii) "Which preventive actions are suitable to counteract the risk of local muscular stress during machinery assembling work?" This research was conceived as qualitative investigation. The group examined comprised employees at the position of operator at a workplace of a selected plant in the Olomouc administrative region. The research work comprised data collection by using the method of direct, non-participating and overt observation, and study of professional literature, applicable legislation and test protocols and reports. I processed the results of measurement and compared them with the hygienic limits laid down by Government Decree No. 361/2007 Coll. (as amended). Based on the assessment of the data obtained, I classed the operator's job as Category 3 with respect to the local muscular stress factor examined, based on the criteria set by Regulation No. 432/2003 Coll. (as amended). Based on the risk assessment and categorization of labour I proposed appropriate preventive measures to mitigate the effect of local muscular stress during the operators' work. I set up a simple questionnaire asking for a subjective assessment of the locomotive system stress during work as a tool for a more comprehensive assessment of the operators' local muscular stress. Based on the research I formulated the following hypothesis: "In view of the increasing trend of incidence of occupational diseases of the limbs due to overload, and taking into account the appreciable social and economic impacts of such diseases, more attention should be devoted to a systematic search, assessment and evaluation of the local muscular stress factor risk during work."

Zdravotní péče o zaměstnance - povinnosti zaměstnavatele / Health care for employees - the employer's obligations

PŘEDOTOVÁ, Eva January 2012 (has links)
People were aware of the connection between the quality of the job done and the person performing the job as early as in the ancient times and in the times of ancient Egypt. In the course of centuries prevention was favoured over the treatment of an injury or illness. Nowadays the healthcare for employees is regulated by numerous international as well as national rules of law, the most important international one for the observed field being the International Labour Organization Convention No. 161 ? Occupation health services Convention. Upon this international convention ratified in Czechoslovakia in February 1989, many rules of law dealing with the health protection of employees at their workplaces are specified in our legal order, the significant being the Act 262/2006 Coll., Labour Code and newly also the Specific Healthcare Act 373/2011 Coll. The thesis aims to recapitulate the basic rule of law regarding the above-mentioned matter as well as finding out how these rules of law are adhered to and what the employees' awareness concerning their rights and obligations in the area of occupational healthcare is. The practical research of this thesis used qualitative dialogues with the representatives of 10 companies with different business planes. At the same time, a quantitative survey took place among the employees of the same companies. The results indicate that employers meet their obligations to their employees in the area of arranging occupational health services including regular medical checkups. Furthermore, employers try to respect the doctor's capability to work, despite the fact that this area is often quite problematic for them. The employees themselves are aware of their rights and obligations in the area of occupational health services.

Nemoci spojené s prací vyskytující se u pracovníků vykonávající administrativní a kancelářské činnosti / Diseases related to work occurring to employees performing administrative and support activities

BERKOVÁ, Pavla January 2012 (has links)
Diseases related to work occurring to employees performing administrative and support activities are meant primarily vertebrogenic problems, visual difficulties in the sense of visual tiredness and some chosen psychosomatic symptoms. Those diseases belong between professional diseases in the professional sense, but not in the legal sense such as occupational diseases. This thesis has two objectives. The first objective was to map the occurrence of diseases related to work among the employees performing administrative and support activities. The second objective was to find out habits, which may affect the origin of these work-related diseases.

Probace a její prvky v českém právu / The probation and its components in the Czech Justice

BOUCHALOVÁ, Lenka January 2007 (has links)
The probation {--} probare in Latin means to examine and verify. The probation can be understood as an alternative of unconditional sentence. Its principal is not only to protect society but also to re {--} educate criminals and to protect them againts harmful consequences of execution of confinement. The probation is one of the methods of treating criminals whereat both aspects penological and social are combined. It is not perceived only as summary of sanction precautions but also as a number of services, activities and operations which are provided by Probation and Mediation Services. The meaning of probation lies in more various access to a treating of criminals of different delicts, using other, more efficient means as a reaction to less serious criminality then confinement is and creating better conditions and ways of major crime sanctions. Criminals are spare from harmful effects which are connected with execution of confinement and they are not exposed to negative experiences with stay in prison.

Výskyt profesionálních onemocnění v Jihočeském kraji / Occurrence of occupational disease in the South Bohemian region

KUČEROVÁ, Eva January 2010 (has links)
When evaluating effects of work on human health it should be remembered that health is a result of mutual effects of several factors. The factors include the general environment and the working environment, genetic factors and lifestyle. Further, the evaluation of a worker´s health condition should take into account his/her exposure outside work. I have selected the topic of the thesis: ``Occurrence of occupational disease in the South Bohemian region `` because I find occupational hygiene the most interesting sphere in the hygienic sector. The objective of my work was to map occupational diseases in the South Bohemian region and to determine the situation in occupational diseases in a selected period. The selected period was 2004 {--} 2008. At the beginning of the thesis I set two hypotheses. The first hypothesis stated that the number of occupational diseases in the South Bohemian region in 2004-2008 was not statistically significantly different from the national average. To test the hypothesis I used a statistical survey using the Student t-test. The second hypothesis stated that occupational diseases occurred most frequently in persons working in the sector of health and social care and veterinary activities. In the case of the first hypothesis the results have confirmed that the number of occupational diseases in the South Bohemian region does not exceed the national average, except in 2007, when the number of occupational diseases was different from the national average. Also the second hypothesis was confirmed (except in 2008, when the number of occupational diseases in the sector of metal structure manufacturing and metal-working products was slightly higher than in the sector of health and social care and veterinary activities). This thesis seeks to evaluate the trends of occurrence of occupational diseases, which may be used for development of preventive measures in this field, particularly by employers and occupational medicine professionals.
