This diploma thesis was focused on implementation of CNC tool grinder Helitronic Power 400 into serial production on flowing assembly. In the first part, optimization methods were described, which are used in practice as a tool for increasing the productivity and profitability of the company. The practical part was focused on the inclusion of the machine into serial production and on processes connected with the implementation.

This master thesis is aimed at optimalization of chosen processes of manufacture of the company DH DEKOR Spol. s r.o. which is engaged in production of impregnated paper and laminated boards. On the basis of the results of processes in storehouse and manufacture of impregnated paper there are given proposals and possible measurments whitch leads to minimalization of time and financal losses.

This master’s thesis focuses on analysis of the current system for employee evaluation and remuneration at AGROFARM a.s. The theoretical part provides a summary of basic terms related to methods of employee evaluation and remuneration. The practical part constitutes of an analysis of the current situation in the company, and of a research performed based on a questionnaire survey. The final part contains suggestions for improvement of the current evaluation and remuneration system.

Aim master´s thesis is analyzed technological and economical parameters of cutting tool. Firstly there are the parameters cutting tool, cutting wear, economical parameters and costs on running tools specified. In the conclusion there are reach technological and economical parameters of cutting tools analyzed and tested on practical sample. The sample is part of attachments in form programme on calculation in Excel, together with evaluation by means of graphs.

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje interkulturní management a komunikaci v české společnosti působící na mezinárodní úrovni. Práce používá dotazníkové šetření pro získání lepšího vhledu do cross-kulturní komunikace mezi týmy a členy týmu ve firmě. Obsahuje také návrhy na základě vyhodnocených údajů, které mají zlepšit výkonnost podniku tím, že pomáhají zaměstnancům překonat kulturní rozdíly.

Verb-noun compounds in Italian and in Portuguese. Verb-noun compounding represents from the synchronic aspect a very productive word-formation process. The research in corpus La Repubblica and CETEMPúblico revealed that according to the number of created lemmas in both languages the most efficient type is porta+N. In Italian follow types as salva+N, mangia+N, acchiappa+N and ammazza+N, in Portuguese caça+N, guarda+N a papa+N. Compound V-N is clasified as subordinate and exocentric. Subject, to which Italian and Portuguese compound V-N is referring to, is the most often an instrument. In Portuguese a referent category of plants and animals is also present very frequently. The compound elements in Italian are usually amalgamated, in contrast to Portuguese where forms with hyphen are the most common. The output category of V-N formation is a substantive which is mostly in unmarked gender and in invariable plural form. In syntax the compound can perform both function of a substantive and an adjective. Compounds as noun-modifiers occur mostly at very productive types.

Latitudinal gradient of diversity is typically being explained by the three main hypotheses: The Resources Limitation Hypothesis, The Speciation Rate Hypothesis and The Niche Conservatism Hypothesis. In my study I tested basic assumptions of these hypotheses using native and non-native vascular plants obtained from the new database GloNAF (Global Naturalized Alien Flora). I tested an effect of precipitation, NPP, temperature and historical velocity (difference in temperature and precipitation between the Last Glacial Maximum and present) on species richness. Given that the distribution of non-native species is among continents irregular (we can divide them into two groups - Australia with Europe and North America and South America with Africa and Asia), I tested the abovementioned relationships at both - global and continental scale. Species richness of native species increased with NPP, precipitation and temperature and decreased with the difference in temperature. The global distribution of non-native plants increased with precipitation and temperature velocity and decreases with temperature and precipitation velocity, although the results varied for particular continents. Financial analysis of selected company will be performed in my thesis. In the first part, theoretical bases will be introduced for practical use. Further, analysis of business environment – SLEPTE will be presented together with Porter's analysis and breakdown of internal business environment – 7S. Strenghts, weaknesses along with opportunities and threats for the company will be defined on the base of preceding analysis. In other words, SWOT analysis will be done. Financial analysis will be performed between years 2007 and 2011. Possible company's drawbacks will be solved in proposal part.

The aim of this dissertation is to provide the readers with as comprehensive view of the issue of sickness and accident rate of workers in relation to work attendance as possible. The dissertation deals with both absenteeism of sick individuals, i.e. the incapacity for work, and presenteeism, that is the performance of gainful employment despite acutely impaired health condition. Due to the different nature and level of knowledge of the examined phenomena, each of them is devoted a different level of attention. The issue of the incapacity for work due to disease or injury is analyzed in more detail. Development of the parametric values is set in the context of administration and legal changes, which have occurred in the Czech Republic since the early 1990s, and conditionality of the occurrence of the incapacity for work due to disease or injury are further investigated based on individual anonymized data. In the part dealing with presenteeism, the dissertation introduces the readers to the basic findings that have been published so far about this type of addressing health incapacitation. Attention is also paid to the mutual comparison of the incapacity for work and presenteeism, both on the basis of theoretical and empirical knowledge. This thesis deals with the issue of corporate culture. It analyses chosed the company, especially the incentive program. The thesis consists of a theoretical part, which introduces the basic knowledge needed for analysis. The practical part analyze the selected company, an analysis of competition, labor market analysis and research conducted through a questionnaire. Proposed section recommends solutions to effectively improve staff morale and achieve greater worker productivity.
