Vazba mezi produktivitou práce a ekonomickou výkonností malých a středních podniků / The relationship between the labour productivity and the economic performance of small and medium-sized enterprises

PACLÍK, Štěpán January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the relationship between the labour productivity and the economic performance of small and medium-sized enterprises. It is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The metodology of this thesis describes the process of creating this work. The theoretical part of this thesis is the result of studying the literature. It contains basic information about the labour productivity and the economic performance. The economic performance is expressed by the indicators of the liquidity, profitability, indebtedness, activity, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and the Economic value added. The practical part of this thesis deals with the data processing from Albertina database, where all the necessary data can be found. For the purposes of this theses, a part of the data from Czech engineering industry was used, specificaly manufacture of electrical equipment (27 CZ-NACE) in the time period of 2013 - 2017. This data was further processed and analyzed. The next part of thesis is the analysis of the relationships between the labour productivity and the three indicators of economic performance - Return on Assets, index IN05 and the creditworthiness index. The last part of all is the conclusion where all found relations are described.

Řízení virtuálních lidí / Controlling Virtual People

Gemrot, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
Title: Controlling Virtual People Author: Mgr. Jakub Gemrot Department: Department of Software and Computer Science Education Supervisor: Mgr. Cyril Brom, PhD. Abstract: In this thesis, we provide a computational formalization of reactive planning as a paradigm for decision making of intelligent virtual agents and videogame non-player characters. We formalize agent decision-making (ADM) as a process of deciding on which body actions to execute next and differentiate it from agent reasoning as a process of computing facts needed for decision making. We show that imperative programming languages are not suitable for ADM specification and explain why they are not suitable. Thereafter, we create a new computational model that we use as the basis for the definition of Behavior Design Language (BDL). We show that BDL can model decision-making specified by scripting, hierarchical finite-state machines, AgentSpeak(L), GOAL, SPOSH and Behavior trees. Importantly, BDL can model these approaches economically in terms of the number of behavior primitives. The key strengths of the BDL language are: versatility (it can mix decision making patterns of multiple languages together), extensibility (it allows developers to devise new language primitives as they see fit), and generality (it can abstract any computable...

Vazba mezi produktivitou práce a konkurenceschopností podniků / The Link between Labour Productivity and Firm Competitiveness

ZEMAN, Radek January 2018 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to assess the link between labour productivity and firm competitiveness. An indispensable condition is to identify appropriate indicators measuring competitiveness. The link is examined in small and medium-sized companies active in manufacturing industry, specifically in section CZ-NACE 10. Manufacture of food products. First, an analysis of labour productivity and selected competitiveness indicators is made. Selected competitiveness indicators are Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Sales (ROS), Current Liquidity and index IN05. The relationship between labour productivity and competitiveness measured by selected indicators is examined by correlation and regression analysis. The significant positive link was found between labour productivity and competitiveness measured by ROA and ROS. Small and Medium-sized companies active in food industry can improve their ROA and ROS, and through this also competitiveness, by increasing their labour productivity. These indicators have also proved to be an appropriate tool for measuring the competitiveness of the company, especially in the food industry in the Czech Republic. The link between labour productivity and competitiveness measured by current liquidity and index IN05 was not explained in more detail.

Středoanglické lexikální inovace domácího původu (1200-1500) ze slovotvorného hlediska / Native lexical innovations in Middle English (1200-1500): a word-formation perspective

Růžičková, Eliška January 2018 (has links)
This thesis examines suffixation in Middle English in the periods 1200-1299 and 1300-1399. More specifically, the work is focussed on nominal coinages of native origin only, formed with the suffixes -ness, -head / -hood, -ship and -dom, where the aim is to observe their productivity in time. In the theoretical part, we explore the contribution of external (socio-political) and internal (typological and word-formational) factors to changes in the English language, including word-formation processes. Our hypothesis is that suffixation as a word-formation process will continue strongly, despite the ongoing language-internal changes and the overwhelming influx of foreign words. Data for this research was collected from The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) through Advance Search. The data retrieved for each suffix was considered from a morphological, structural and lexico-semantic perspective. The analyses were performed to detect changes in the behaviour of each suffix and to discover the realities attesting their productivity. Moreover, the analyses uncovered additional phenomena: types that had only one quotation (hapaxes) and competition occurring between the selected suffixes. The hapaxes were also investigated for their morphological, structural and semantic features so as to identify any common...

Vliv potravy na úspěšnost vývoje vybraných druhů švábů. / Effect of food on the success of development of selected species of cockroaches.

ŠIŠKOVÁ, Žaneta January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to find out whether selected types of food substrates affect the adult´s productivity, the weight of newborn nymphs and laid oothecas and whether changes in adult´s productivity and the weight of nymphs occur due to one source of food during the experiment. In this experiment, the Blaptica dubia, Nauphoeta cinerea and Schelfordella tartara species were used. The reason for selection of those species was their high rate of reproduction, undemanding breeding and a short period of growth. The experiment was conducted in six types of feed substrates. The cockroaches were kept at a room temperature. The scales accurate to 0,2 g were used for the determination of the weight (AVINET). The Blaptica dubia species proved the dependence of its adults´ productivity and nymphs´ weight on the month of observation and the dependence of nymphs´ growth on a feed. The Nauphoeta cinerea species proved the dependence of nymphs´ growth on a feed. The Schelfordella tartara species proved the dependence of its adults´ productivity and oothecas´ weight on a feed and on the month of observation. The results of this thesis could emphasize the importance of the influence of a feed on the life of cockroaches breeded in captivity and help breeders to their better results with regard to the selection of a suitable food.

Formy motivace a stimulace ve vybraném podniku / Forms of motivation and stimulation in the selected company

DOLNÁ, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
Currently, human resource management is one of the most important system operations of specific companies. Due to the growing effort to achieve higher competitiveness, companies are looking for new resources, namely human ones, and the importance of human capital within the global society is on the rise. The dynamic management approach involving motivational approaches strenghtens the unique role of information technology and, along with the improved quality of staff, increases general awareness. If the quality of employees and ultimately the quality of the human factor is continuously improved and if the employer motivates the employees towards innovation processes, business will be booming and will have a good position in the market. It is also desirable that employees are motivated to identify with the goals of the their company. The above issues are the main focus of this thesis. The main objective was to analyze the forms of motivation and stimulation and their impact on employees with proposed measures. An analysis of the data and other information obtained was followed by an overall evaluation of the current approaches to motivation and stimulation of human resources in the selected company. Based on this information, measures were proposed to increase employee satisfaction and motivation to better results.
