The diploma thesis devotes to the process of ensuring functional safety of products in Bosch Rexroth Brno, which deals with industrial hydraulic systems. The first part introduces the basic legislative regulations concerning product safety and describes selected standards relevant to this thesis. The second part focuses on Bosch Rexroth and the current state in the field of ensuring functional safety of their products. It also includes a description of the functional safety solution of a specific project – a hydraulic try-out press. At the end of the thesis, improvements to the process of ensuring functional safety in response to the identified shortcomings are proposed.

The master’s thesis deals with the use of fuzzy logic for evaluating the quality of suppliers of IT goods and other material for a selected company. The fuzzy model should facilitate decisions when selecting individual suppliers who should deliver goods for the implementation of IT projects. The model created in Microsoft Excel and MathWorks MATLAB should be helpful to the company's management and sales representatives.

In master´s thesis I deal with analysing of decision-making in PPP projects and searching for an optimal solutions. On an example of hypothetical project there is shown a decision making process which consists from three main parts: cost evaluation, revenue evaluation and risk identification. The result of this analyse is based on a public sector comparator where you can demonostrate suitability or unsuitability of particular PPP offers coming from private sphere.

This work dicusses the extension for Getting Things GNOME which makes it possible to use it for planning and managment of cooperative projects. Reader is introduced to basics of project planning and project management and selected methods. The target audience and their needs for the extension were identified and their solutions were proposed. This work includes a walkthrough the extension of the user interface in the form of wireframes. The proposed extension was implemented and tested.

The thesis deals with visual culture and digital photography in art education of pre-school children. The main objective is to uncover children's ability to work with a specific type of picture - photographic picture. The educational project is based on theoretical knowledge of digital media provided in the first part of the thesis and on practical experience gained during several years of practice with pre-school children. The project offers children to use digital photographs as another form of art expression. Talking with children and monitoring their reactions have shown that working with digital photographs is equally beneficial to them as any other art technique.

The thesis aims to explore and describe the relationships between scientific results and research projects, both in general and in three given sources: the National Repository of Grey Literature (NUSL) in the Czech Republic, the Czech Research, Development and Innovation Information System (IS VaVaI) and OpenAIRE. The theoretical part presents relationships between results and projects in the field of research information in the Czech Republic and the EU, as well as the Levels of Conceptual Interoperability Model (LCIM) and its application to the relationships between results and projects. Furthermore, the thesis examines the analyzed resources in terms of acquisition, technical processing and interoperability of links between results and projects. The research part quantifies the presence of these links in the given sources, examines the multiplicity of the links to projects, and a possible dependence of the occurrence and quantity of these links on language and type of the research results.

The work aims to map the curriculum of nutrition and its anchoring in educational programs and through a questionnaire survey to find out whether the content of the curriculum is sufficiently developed for primary school teachers, i.e. whether it is effective in their practice. The theoretical part summarizes the information concerning the nutrition of children of younger school age, focusing mainly on the principles of proper nutrition, building healthy eating habits, which significantly contribute to their future health and may have a preventive character from development of diseases. One of the many possible ways of prevention is teaching nutrition in primary schools with the help of appropriate teaching methods, activities, and the use of nutritional lecture programs, which this work mentions. The practical part contains a questionnaire survey, in which it examines the relationship of teachers to the teaching of nutrition, focusing mainly on their views on the anchoring of the curriculum in educational programs. The resulting data are recorded in tables and graphs, which are accompanied by a commentary. This thesis deals with the principles of partnership between Czech non-profit organizations. This topic draws on the research of twelve high-impact American non-profit organizations which was carried out by H. McLeod Grant and L.R. Crutchfield in 2007. On the example of the civic association's Koalice nevládek Pardubicka (KONEP) work, the essay tries to apply partial outcomes of this research on the Czech environment, to find common aspects and different elements of the partnership principle, and to introduce a succesful way of its implementation. Through the means of analysis and description of concrete projects and activities of Koalice nevládek Pardubicka organization, this essay presents the benefit of the partnership principle for non-profit organizations and community development itself, and seeks to show its importance in the life of civil society.

The diploma thesis deals with non-library entities that collaborate with public libraries on the deepening of information literacy of library users. The theoretical part presents legislation and important documents that are connected with this topic. The following is an explanation of the terms that occur at work. The main part of the text is a research section that describes in detail used methods, a content analysis and a questionnaire survey, and their results. The conclusion provides selected examples of this cooperation in Czech and foreign public libraries.
