Zhodnocení finanční situace podniku pomocí statistických metod / Assessment of the Financial Situation of a Company Using Statistical Methods

Krátká, Tereza January 2012 (has links)
This masters's thesis focuses on the analysis of selected indicators of the company using statistical methods. The first part describes the problems of selected indicators of financial analysis and time series. The second part analyzes the selected financial indicators of the company and with the help of time series and regression analysis predicts the expected development of the company. The main aim is to evaluate the current financial situation of the company and recommend measures for its improvement.

Posouzení vybraných ukazatelů společnosti pomocí časových řad / Assessing Selected Indicators of a Company Using Time Series

Všianský, Martin January 2013 (has links)
This thesis focuses on company Authentica Ltd., which financial indicators have been adapted for time series analysis, over the last 9 years. The aim of this work is to evaluate financial health of the company by using statistical methods, and to offer suggestions for improvement of its economic status. My dissertation is divided into three parts. The first part is describing the theory of statistical analysis of time series. The second part is then the practical one, in which Authentica Ltd. is introduced, and subsequently the statistical methods - described in the first part - are applied using a form created in Visual Basic to the real annual reports data. In this part I have also made a two-year prediction for selected financial indicators. The third part of this thesis is aiming to provide proposals for solution of the challenges identified in the second part.

Růst dětí po alogenní transplantaci kmenových krvetvorných buněk / Growth in children after allogenic hematopoetic stem cell transplantation

Tomešová, Jitka January 2014 (has links)
Nearly 80 % of child oncological patients survive treatment nowadays and live in adulthood. Therefore, one of the main current children's oncology task is not only to cure the patient but to assure the life after treatment in as highest quality as possible. Related to the quality of life is the adequate adult body height which is in these children after hematooncological treatment ussualy known as impaired. The aim of this diploma thesis was to specify the frequency and level of impaired final body height in children after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and find its relation to sex, diagnosis and age at the time of transplantation. Thesis criteria met 89 children (35 female), who recieved the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation between years 1989 and 2012 in University Hospital in Motol, Prague. Children were observed prospectively in Laboratory of Clinical Anthropology of the Pediatric Clinic of University Hospital in Motol since the date of their transplantation till they reach their final body height. Each survey consists of the measurement of body height and weight, BMI calculation, Tanner pubertal stages and bone age assessment by the TW3 method. These, completed by clinical data about diagnosis, growth hormone deficiency treatment, and menarche in girls, were compared to the...

Hodnocení úrovně kondice, základní motorické koordinace a fotbalových dovedností u dvou věkových kategorií mladých hráčů fotbalu. / Assessment the level of condition, basic motor coordination and football skills between two age categories of young football players.

Vrabec, Ondřej January 2021 (has links)
Title: Assessment of the level of condition, basic motor coordination, and football skills between two age categories of young football players. Objectives: Find out possible differences in the level of condition, basic motor coordination, and specific football skills between two age categories of young players (U14 and U15). At the same time, the aim is to determine the effect of different rates of biological growth on fitness performance, basic motor coordination, and football skills. The last goal is to find out the level of association between the indicator of the condition, basic motor coordination and football skills. Methods: The main scientific method of theoretical - empiric character was observation and testing. Research field consisted of the players of category U14 (n=24; Age = 13,79±0,49; Height = 166,1±8,42; Weight = 46,7±8,65) and U15 (n=25; Age = 14,8±0,33; Height = 173,17±7,39; Weight = 61,82±8,52) from the football club FK Motorlet Praha. The level of fitness was measured in tests of a sprint at 10 and 30 meters, 505 agility test, Illinois agility test, long jump, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1. The level of basic motor coordination was determined with the Körperkoordinationtest für Kinder test battery (KTK test) containing 4 subtests: balancing backwards, jumping...

Diferencovaná integrace v Evropské unii: britský přístup k fiskálním pravidlům hospodářské a měnové unie / Differentiated integration in the EU : the British approach to EMU fiscal rules

Šimunská, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the British approach to EMU fiscal rules. Theoretical and conceptual framework is based on the theory of differentiated integration dealing with a various forms of closer cooperation among EU Member States. The research is built on the theoretical approach as described by Frank Schimmelfennig, Dirk Leuffen and Berthold Rittberger. Authors provide an analysis of conditions of differentiated integration within the EU. The aim of this thesis is to answer the question of why the United Kingdom decided not to participate in the fiscal compact and, consequently, did not allow further differentiated integration within the treaties (which led to an arrangement outside the EU legal framework) while accepting the initial fiscal rules agreed in the 1990s as well as other crisis reforms of EU fiscal governance. The first part describes Maastricht and SGP fiscal rules and analyses both the UK's position within EMU and the SGP provisions applied to the UK. The next chapter examines the British approach towards both the SGP revisions and the Euro Plus Pact. The third part analyses the new fiscal compact and explains why the UK decided to use the veto. In conclusion, the thesis provides an answer to the research question as set down in the introduction.

PROGRESIVNÍ VÝROBNÍ POSTUPY A MODELOVÁNÍ STRUKTUR A VLASTNOSTÍ LITIN S KULIČKOVÝM GRAFITEM / PROGRESSIVE PRODUCTION PROCESSES AND SIMULATION OF STRUCTURES AND PROPERTIES OF SPHEROIDAL GRAPHITE CAST IRON

Musilová, Iveta January 2010 (has links)
The thesis is concerned with relationships between progressive technological processes of spheroidal graphite cast iron’s production and their structural properties. The aim of the work is to explain causal relationship between parameters of the proposed manufacturing technology of the iron type given (involving selected variants of modification and inoculation of melt and the parameters of melt crystallization, solidification and cooling down in a mould), their structure and even chemical heterogeneity of elements in this structure. For close specification of presented relationships three-dimensional model of spheroidal graphite growth was used, which was developed at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Its usability in praxis has been verified on the basisis of the application of this model on experimentally acquired data. The U GRAFIT 20 model of the authors Stránský and Million counting segregation in the frame of eutectic cell has not still been used for prediction of segregation in real condition in greater extent. On the basis of the above mentioned model microsegregation within “on average” of the cell has been discovered during experimental melts. Microsegregation has been described by segregation and heterogeneity indexes. Calculated values of segregation and heterogeneity indexes have been compared with experimentally verified values. On the basis of comparison of calculated and measured values the possibility of further usage of the mentioned model in praxis has been explored.
