Från Hakkaribergen till Orans kust : en jämförelse mellan genrerna raweh och raiAfrem, Toma January 2006 (has links)
Denna studie grundar sig på en undersökning där jag har försökt finna likheter mellan raweh och rai. För att kunna hitta eventuella likheter har jag valt att använda mig av en analysmetod, som heter cantometrics. Med hjälp av cantometrics kodningsformulär har jag analyserat sex olika musikstycken, tre av raweh och tre av rai. Av de 37 analyspunkter som cantometrics innefattar har jag valt att använda 25 av dessa i min analys. Efter analysen visade det sig att kodningsresultaten av raweh och rai endast är lika i 7 punkter medan de särskiljer sig i de andra 18 punkterna. Detta resultat tyddes till det följande:De sju gemensamma punkterna för raweh och rai anser jag inte vara tillräckligt för att bedöma att raweh och rai är lika. Enligt min analys samt undersökning som kodats enligt cantometricsmodellen finns det få likheter mellan raweh och rai.

The reform of public service broadcasting in ItalyHibberd, Matthew January 1999 (has links)
This thesis provides an overview to a series of reforms undertaken at RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana), the Italian public service broadcasting company between June 1993 and April 1996. The reform process began as a direct result of the collapse of the Christian Democrats and its coalition partners after 45 years of continuous government and was initiated by the centre-left 'Technocrat' government led by the former governor of the Bank of Italy, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi (April 1993 to May 1994); it was also continued by the centre-right Berlusconi government (May 1994 to December 1994) and by the centre-left Dini technocrat government (January 1995 to April 1996). The research aims to focus on two related topics in order to fully explain the broad social, economic and political context within which the reforms took place. Firstly, especial interest wil be given to an historical analysis of public service provision in Italy in the light of the twin pressures coming from the state and market. Historically, these twin pressures have had a detrimental effect on public service broadcasting in Italy. Secondly, the research also focuses on the impact of the reform process on the functioning of public service broadcasting in Italy. It identifies four areas of RAJ's operations which merit special attention: the system of political occupation, the so-called lottizzazione; the internal network system; the devolution of Raitre; and RAI and Fininvest-Mediaset duopoly. This thesis uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including primary and secondary analysis and interviews with key architects of the reform process.

denominada “Reforma tributaria que modifica el sistema de tributación de la renta e
introduce diversos ajustes en el sistema tributario”, modificada por la Ley N° 20.899
denominada “Simplifica el sistema de tributación a la renta y perfecciona otras
disposiciones legales tributarias”, publicada en el Diario Oficial con fecha 8 de febrero de
2016, las cuales establecieron nuevos regímenes de tributación en el artículo 14 letra A) y
letra B) de la Ley sobre Impuesto a la Renta. Es precisamente en este último artículo en el
cual se incorporaron nuevos registros de utilidades tributables entre los cuales se encuentra
el registro de rentas afectas al Impuesto Global Complementario (IGC) o Impuesto Adicional
(IA), denominado “RAI”, cuya finalidad estuvo centrada en establecer un control de las
utilidades reales generadas por el contribuyente que están disponibles para ser retiradas.
Sin embargo, dicho propósito se puede ver mermado como consecuencia de las diferencias
que se generan entre el capital propio tributario inicial y capital propio tributario final, tema
que se analizará en esta tesis.

TESIS PARA OPTAR AL GRADO DE MAGÍSTER EN TRIBUTACIÓN / En este trabajo de investigación, se expondrá la siguiente hipótesis a resolver:
“El RAI en su primer año de implementación, será parte de un sistema tributario
integrado, similar al FUT, y en sus años posteriores, mantendrá situaciones de un
sistema tributario integrado, a pesar, de estar contextualizado en un sistema
tributario parcialmente integrado.”
Para validar esta hipótesis, se realizará un marco teórico de los sistemas
tributarios. En este contexto, se expondrán los objetivos que persigue un sistemas
tributarios y los tipos de sistemas tributarios; sistema clásico, parcialmente
integrado e integrados.
Adicionalmente, se presentarán los sistemas tributarios que se han implementado
en Chile, principalmente, los sistemas de la reforma tributaria de 1984, sistema
tributario integrado vía créditos, y de la reforma tributaria de 2014, sistema
tributario parcialmente integrado (Articulo 14 B LIR).
En conjunto al marco teórico y a la revisión normativa, desarrollaremos un caso
planteado, donde se expondrá, en términos prácticos, las normas tributarias
relacionadas al FUT y RAI en los años tributarios 2017, 2018 y 2019.
Finalmente, en base a lo revisado anteriormente, buscaremos dar una respuesta
concluyente a la interrogante planteada en la hipótesis inicial.

Graves’ Disease is an autoimmune disorder represented by the overproduction of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism). Graves’ Disease is more common among women of reproductive age, and genetic, endogenous, and environmental factors influence the pathogenesis of Graves’ Disease. Graves’ Disease presents with many clinical manifestations, such as tachycardia, fatigue, heat intolerance, palpitations, weight loss, muscle weakness, alterations in menstrual cycles, insomnia, hair loss, goiter, and others. Currently, there are three main treatment routes for Graves’ Disease: antithyroid drugs, radioactive iodine therapy, and thyroidectomy. Antithyroid drug therapy has a high relapse rate. At the same time, both radioactive iodine and thyroidectomy eradicate or surgically remove the tissue of the thyroid and lead to the consequence of developing another disease, hyperthyroidism, that requires a life-long supplementation of the thyroid replacement hormone, levothyroxine. Presently, investigations are focused on finding new therapeutics that can supplement existing treatments as a combination therapy that can lengthen the remission period after cessation of ATDs or conduction of RAI therapy. Future research is exploring treatment options that target different components of the immune system response pathway, the thyroid stimulating hormone receptor or thyrotropin receptor autoantibodies, that have the potential to cure Graves’ Disease.

REGULATING HOSPITAL SOCIAL WORKERS AND NURSESO'Neill, Laura 04 1900 (has links)
<p>Canadian hospitals continue to adopt private sector strategies in an attempt to improve efficiency, accountability and quality. One such mandated efficiency is a computerized psychosocial assessment for mental health patients known as the Resident Assessment Instrument–Mental Health (RAI-MH). This thesis uses the RAI-MH as the gateway into exploring how neoliberal or private sector strategies are used to penetrate hospital care work resulting in the regulation and restructuring of work practices. The RAI-MH requires professionals to input specified, closed ended data about patients simplifying and narrowing their practice in an attempt to govern, measure and fund what is “value added” in the patient/professional encounter. This qualitative study uses interviews with social workers and nurses to examine the competing tensions experienced by professionals as they strive to provide client-centred care in a culture that promotes computer-centred care.</p> <p>My research findings reveal that the idealized portrayal of the 21<sup>st</sup> century knowledge worker is in sharp contrast to the realities faced by many increasingly standardized and “leaned-out” health care professionals. Social workers and nurses report that standardization leads to increasing surveillance. A few professionals comply with the increasing standardization or regulation but most found ways to resist while striving to maintain professional autonomy. As certain areas of work become standardized some professionals find ways to increase autonomy in other areas of their work. The findings reveal differences between those who engaged in work tasks outside of paid work hours (boundary crossings) and those who did not (boundary refusals). <strong></strong></p> <p>Theoretically, this thesis contributes to the literature by illuminating the processes involved within the rapidly changing organization of hospital service delivery. Substantively, it adds to the literature on understanding the work of service providers and how they continue to find creative ways to resist the standardization process.</p> / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

La tesi analizza le collaborazioni di alcuni protagonisti della ricerca artistica contemporanea con la Rai tra gli anni Sessanta e Settanta. Dopo un capitolo introduttivo che ripercorre nelle sue linee principali le origini del dibattito critico italiano intorno al tema dei rapporti fra artisti e televisione, lo studio si concentra sul periodo 1968-1975, quando da un lato la Rai si apre maggiormente all’attualità artistica, dall’altro gli sviluppi dell’arte in direzione ambientale e performativa e le prime sperimentazioni video creano le premesse per interventi negli spazi della televisione pubblica. Il dialogo aperto da queste collaborazioni è particolarmente significativo perché rovescia la prospettiva con cui la Rai ha prevalentemente guardato l’arte contemporanea. La ricerca artistica si insinua nella programmazione ordinaria, oltre i confini del programma specialistico sull’arte, innescando riflessioni che vanno sempre al di là di un contributo “decorativo”, scenografico, educativo o divulgativo. Gli interventi artistici pensati per gli schermi Rai sono specchio di un contesto culturale assai più ampio e la loro analisi permette uno sguardo trasversale sul panorama artistico a cavallo dei due decenni, aprendo direzioni di riflessione nelle storie dell’arte più note di quegli anni e nella storia della televisione culturale italiana. / This thesis investigates the collaboration between leading figures of contemporary art and Italian public broadcaster Rai in the 1960s and 1970s. The opening chapter provides an overview of the early debates in Italian art criticism on the relationship between artists and television. The study then focuses on the period 1968-1975. On the one hand, Rai was increasingly opening up to contemporary art during this time; on the other, the emergence of environment and performance art and the early experimentations with video were creating the conditions for artists to work in the space of public television. The exchanges arising from these collaborations are particularly significant because they reverse Rai’s prevalent approach to contemporary art. By going beyond specialist cultural programming and creeping into ordinary programmes, art makes a contribution which always transcends a merely ‘decorative’, scenographic or educational purpose. Artists’ work for Rai reflects a much wider cultural context, and its analysis offers a broad view of the art scene at the turn of the decades, providing new directions for exploration of the more well-known art histories of those years and of the history of cultural television programming in Italy.

Cette thèse a pour objectif de faire la lumière sur l'acquisition d'une langue étrangère en autonomie par la télévision. Elle s'inscrit dans deux champs de recherche, celui de la didactique des langues et celui de la psychologie cognitive. Elle s'appuie sur l ' étude de spectateurs tunisiens qui ont acquis l'italien par la simple exposition à la chaîne italienne Rai Uno et sur une expérimentation menée auprès de jeunes enfants. Des tests [CELI1] ont montré que ces spectateurs ont pu acquérir un niveau intermédiaire en italien malgré l'absence d'enseignement et d'interaction. L'analyse qualitative des entretiens a montré que l'exposition à une langue étrangère par la télévision s'accompagne d'un apprentissage implicite de cette langue, que l'acquisition de celle-ci est le résultat d'une exposition prolongée et qu'elle fait développer davantage des compétences de compréhension que des compétences de production. L'expérimentation menée auprès des enfants a confirmé ces résultats. L'ensemble de ces données a également montré la validité des hypothèses de Krashen concernant la primauté de l'acquisition sur l'apprentissage, l'importance des inputs compréhensibles et l'effet du filtre affectif. / This thesis aims to shed light on the fact to acquire a foreign language autonomously by watching television. It comes according to two fields of research that are “the didactic of languages” and the “cognitive psychology”. This thesis is based on a survey of Tunisian spectators who have acquired the Italian language by watching the Italian channel Rai Uno and also experimentation conducted with young children. Indeed, the acquisitions of language by the spectators are real despite the absence of education and interaction. They were evaluated by tests [CELI1] which have shown that these viewers have an intermediate level in Italian language. Qualitative analysis of interviews showed that exposure to a foreign language television is accompanied by an implicit learning of the language. The acquisition of the latter is the result of a long exposure and it is further developing the understanding skills than the production skills. Together, these data also showed the validity of Krashen hypothesis regarding the primacy of the acquisition to the learning, the importance of understandable inputs and the impact of the emotional filter.
