7 návyků a principy managementu / 7 Habits and principles of management

This thesis aims to identify the principles that managers use in their work. The work of Stephen Covey "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" is used as an object of research. Primarily, a Covey's claim that the 7 habits are universal and timeless is analyzed, in an effort to identify universal principles of effectivity and their relationship to management. All of the habits are paraphrased and compared to the work of other popular authors from the area of social sciences. Subsequently, a comparison between the 7 habits and historical development of organization theory and its lessons is conducted. Further along, a description of critical reflection of the 7 habits from five standpoints is presented: post-modern, feminism, critical pedagogy, non-functionalism and exclusive representation. Finally, the author of the thesis presents his personal experience with implementing the 7 habits in his professional and personal life. From the findings, this thesis comes to the conclusion that Covey's system of 7 habits is possibly a quality source of information when searching for universal principles of effectivity. The present diploma thesis focuses on the reflective practice in the context of Social and Legal Protection of Children. The purpose of this work, which​'s ​design is empirical, is to respond the following research question: in what way the reflecting practice is applied by the social workers in the field of Social and Legal Protection of Children, what external resources can the social workers take advantage of and what obstacles are blocking their reflective practice. The research study part of this thesis aims to provide the description of the environment of the social work in this domain and, consequently, to define the term reflective practice for the research purposes. The following research is designed as a qualitative case study which identificates the forms of reflection used by the social female workers, its supportive factors as well as the restraining ones. In the final part of this thesis, based on the results of the case study, the recommendations for development of the reflective practice in the Social and Legal Protection of Children institutional departments are formulated.

Pedagogical practice is a substantial component in the education of future teachers, because during it, the specific knowledge that is important for the performance of the teaching profession are developed. This dissertation thesis is dedicated to professional vision and the ability to reflect by future biology teachers during their pedagogical practice. The thesis specifically deals with the analysis of individual reflections of students and observation interviews. The research is conducted using several studies. The first study was performed with the analysis of 130 written reflections taken before and also after individual watching video recordings of 65 students' own lessons. For the analysis of written reflections, the categorical system submitted by Sherin and van Es (2008) was used. For students doing their first practice at lower secondary school, a statistically significant shift across a wide range of professional vision categories was detected after watching a recording of their own lessons. This was unlike the students doing their second practice at upper secondary schools. Further analysis was carried out, and was aimed at deeper research into the nature of the evaluative statements. The Thesis deals with possibility of teaching ethics. It explores philosophy of education and ethics. Basic question is whether it is even reasonable to teach ethics. Thesis also reflects the essence and nature of upbringing and education. In final chapter the thesis comes to synthesis of philosophy of education and ethics. Points of focus from previous chapters are merged together and author tries to show a path with elementary starting points. Author concludes that ethics can be taught by philosophical discussion, thinking and by combined discovery of theoretical philosophy. Ethics that grows from philosophical thinking and thinking process itself may develop the ability of students to pose important questions and deeply reflect ethical issues. They establish ethical outlook and inner understanding. They aim for uplifting the listeners, to shake their human psyche, to stir unrest in their souls. Goal of teachers of this subject is to challenge current certanties. Teachers have the possiblity to teach their students to think philosophically by introducing them to philosophical thinking, where thinking is defined as "Thinking in bigger picture". This diploma thesis deals with phenomenon of musical fairytale and its aplication in Music education process. The thesis is describing a fairytale as a whole genre and shortly outlines a few perspectives from other fields on this genre. The theoretical part describes the concept of a musical fairytale, shortly describes fairytale as a lyrical and musical genre, introduces the history of fairytale and shortly describes archetypes of heroes and their impact on development of child personality. Practical parts of this thesis is focusing on working with authors fairytale, which was realized within project teaching in music classes. The goal of the thesis is to create and then rehearse author's musical fairytale, and in this way analyze its use in musical educational process. As a research sample a 3rd grade was chosen. It is therefore a group of pupils, of younger school age. The research was conducted at ZŠ and ZUŠ Jabloňová Liberec. Each school allows to work with pupils in classes with extended education of Music and regular music classes. This comparison is important source of knowledge. This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a framework for the database persistence layer development. This framework is easy to use while keeping the code elegance. It supports object oriented programming features such as inheritance and collections. Other features include versioning of objects and lazy loading. The object metadata are obtained through reflection provided by the .NET framework. The framework is not using any literal for identification (classes, attributes) even in object queries. Most of checks are done by compiler.

The work deals with the concept of beautiful style and its use in Czech literature of art history. Jaromír Pečírka introduced the term known from German professional literature to the Czech environment in the 1930s in relation to sculpture. It was applied to the history of Gothic painting by Antonín Matějček. After a short turnaround, associated with the name of Pavel Kropáček, the tradition of using the term was renewed by Jaroslav Pešina, who created a concept valid and recognized to this day. In relation to sculpture, Albert Kutal and his successor Jaromír Homolka had a similar role. The Czech specificity is the application of the term in relation to architecture, which was dealt with mainly by Dobroslav Líbal. Among the younger researchers, the work of Milena Bartlová, Jan Royt, Jan Klípa and Michaela Ottová is followed. The work follows individual concepts and their changes.

The diploma thesis focuses on the topic of personal and social development of pupils in the music education process at the 1st level of basic education. It brings forward selected music therapy techniques, which represent one of the means of personal and social education. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the concept of personal and social education with a brief history of the issue. It represents the position of personal and social education in curricular documents. The practical part of the work presents regular teaching of music lessons at the Dolní Břežany Elementary school. The research part also includes activities with emotional cards. The diploma thesis offers a possible connection of communication cards with listening to selected songs, in order to briefly diagnose the research sample. The chosen music therapy techniques are applied to the pupils of the 1st grade, which represents a significant milestone in the transition from kindergarten to primary school. The thesis presents a contribution to the topic of critical examination of various ways to evaluate and compare the level of press (media) freedom in countries throughout the world. It analyses the process of presentation the conclusions of press freedom indices to the public. The analysis is guided on two levels. First, the form in which the press freedom indices are published is investigated. And second, the media reflection of these publications is examined. The starting-point of this analysis focuses on theoretical view on various definitions of press freedom. First part of the thesis therefore provides the summary of important fields that should not be forgotten by any conceptualization of press freedom. Second chapter deals with the problems connected to evaluations and comparisons of press freedom in general and then in particular concerning the Freedom of the Press index by Freedom House and World Press Freedom Index by Reporters Without Borders. In the second part of the thesis, Czech media reflection of the two concerned indices is analyzed. First, the specifics of the Czech media landscape are dealt with. 1 Abstract: This thesis is entitled "Selected topics from the educational theme A human and his world; explored employing the methods and techniques of Drama In Education." The first section explores the theory. It not only deals with Drama In Education; its content, principles, form, methods, and planning; but also what a teacher of drama should be; the characteristics of children in the early years of education; the assessment of drama; and of course the theme - A human and his world. The practical section describes the elements of a range of methods and contains individual lesson script. Each lesson is underpinned by a particular method. This section goes on to deal with assigned goals; their verification in practice; and finally, conclusions drawn from the implementation of the planned lessons. In designed lessons I used selected methods and techniques of structured drama and preparatoried games and exercises. I found out that very different topics from this educational theme A Human and his world can be worked up by methods and techniques of drama education because I suggested different topics from this educational theme and I verified them in practice.
