Provoz elektrizační soustavy s velkým počtem netočivých zdrojů elektrické energie / Power system operation with a large number of non-rotating power sources

Dohnal, Martin January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the simulation of various operating situations in the network with many non-rotating power sources, especially focusing on frequency stability. Non-rotating power source is any source that delivers its power to the grid via power electronics. The first part of the thesis describes power system of the Czech Republic and its future development. In the next section, there is short description of today's most common non-rotating power sources. The third part deals with power regulation of the frequency in the grid. The following part describes the models of electrical circuit created for use in PSCAD simulations. The penultimate part describes simulations performed on a model of the network with many non-rotating power sources, which also includes rotating sources. The last part describes simulations performed on a model of the network that is composed of non-rotating power sources only.

Baudyš, Adam January 2013 (has links)
In the thesis I outlined principles and ways of physical values regulation with the goal of the most efficient cultivation of the plants. Pursuant to identified facts I chose and programmed way of growth cabinet control in PLC AMiNi2DS. To access relevant data and possibilities of adjustment I also created SCADA and HMI. In conclusion I created manual for operating the device and software for acquainted people.

Hypoteční krize / Mortgage crisis

Archalous, Martin January 2014 (has links)
The thesis deals with the US mortgage crisis of 2008. The mortgage crisis, the following financial crisis and the debt crisis have affected billions of people around the world. It has been widely covered in literature. This thesis, however, takes a different approach. It analyses the crisis form the point of view of law and economics, looking for overlaps between those disciplines. The author does not accept the divide between law and economics. It is necessary to consider both views in order to understand the crisis. This work does not seek causes of the crisis primarily in the banks and the lack of regulation, as is common view. Rather, this thesis looks for systemic failures and root causes. It focuses on monetary policy (especially the US Fed), the regulatory institutions, bank management and the role of credit rating agencies and exotic financial instruments. In the first part of the work, the author looks at possible causes in different areas: Monetary policy and global trade imbalances, regulation of the mortgage market and government support of affordable housing, banks and their management (corporate governance), regulation and deregulation of the banking sector (with emphasis on the functioning of regulatory institutions, their legal basis and historical context), so-called securitization and...

Regulace v zemědělství - aplikace na trh s mlékem / Regulation in agriculture - application to the milk market

Voborníková, Tereza January 2012 (has links)
Regulations are often an object of interest of the economists. Some of them criticize regulations because they deform the market. The others appreciate their ability to redistribute the wealth in the society. The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the regulations in a specific agriculture market - production of milk. I supposed this part of agriculture market to be very interesting. There are some reasons: milk is a product of daily requirement, it is hardly to substitute, but still there are two levels of regulation - the European and the Czech one. The thesis is composed of six chapters. They are ordered from the general to particular facts. The used methods are mainly description and historical method. Interdisciplinary approach is also used. The first chapter focuses on the economic theory of regulation. The chapter is subdivided into parts that are dealing with market failures, capture theory, public interest, competition and monopoly. The conclusion of this chapter is as follows: the regulation in our economies exists because of the capture theory. Chapter Two explains the regulations on the European level. The conclusions of the previous chapter are proved and the reasons for regulation creating as well as its main problems are described. It also explains the reform of common agriculture...

Právní úprava účetnictví podnikatelů / Legal regulation of accounting of entrepreneurs

Sýkora, Ondřej January 2012 (has links)
95 Abstract The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the legal regulation of accounting of enterpreneurs in Czech republic, but international aspects are also mentioned, especially the process of harmonisation of accounting in European Union and formation and development of International Accounting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Suverénní fondy (SWFs) a jejich regulace / Sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) and their regulation

Kreysa, Vlastimil January 2011 (has links)
Sovereign wealth funds and their regulation The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive explanation of the current issue of the role and activities of sovereign wealth funds in financial markets and to try to summarize current international regulatory framework, as well as to outline possible changes in this system. This question comes from description and interpretation of the most important international "soft-law" rules on sovereign wealth funds - the so- called Santiago Principles (Generally Accepted Principles and Practices) and the OECD's related legislation. The reason for selection of this topic is a fact that issues related to existence of sovereign wealth funds and their legal regulation have not been discussed sufficiently in Czech scientific circles. This work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction to the aforementioned issues. In the second chapter, which consists of two sections, the work is concentrated on general characteristics of existence of sovereign wealth funds. The first section is focused on definition of the term "sovereign wealth fund", categorization of such funds on the basis of their characteristic features and analysis of legal nature of these funds. The second section is devoted to influence of sovereign wealth funds on financial...

Imunomodulační vlastnosti vitaminu D3 / Immunomodulatory properties of vitamin D3

Urbanová, Anna January 2013 (has links)
1 Abstract Vitamin D3 is important for keeping the right concetration of Ca2+ in plasma. Therefore it is essential for proper bone growth and development. Nevertheless, vitamin D3 has also a number of immunomodulating effects. Our thesis has been targeted on evaluation and comparison of vitamin D3 influence on expression of chosen surface markers (CD14, CD54, HLA-DR, CD16, CD36 and CD163) with THP-1 cells and monocytes gained from human peripheral blood. Other aims have been analysing the vitamin D3 influence on longevity of THP-1 cells and measuring the soluble CD14 and IL-8 production with THP-1 cells under the vitamin D3 influence. The cells have been stimulated with five different concentrations of vitamin D3 for the time 24, 48 and 72 hours. Higher used concetrations of vitamin D3, i.e. 100 nM and 1000 nM have increased the expression of CD14 with THP-1 cells in the time 48 and 72 hours of the stimulation time. With the monocytes from peripheral human blood the increase of the CD14 expression hasn't been remarkable from the physiological point of view. Together with the vitamin D3 concentration increase the sCD14 production with THP1 cells was considerably higher. The sCD14 was the highest in the time 72 hours after the stimulation with the highest used vitamin D3 concetration. The IL-8 quantity with...

Doleček, Michal January 2016 (has links)
Thesis describes often mixed terms of corruption and lobbying, tries to distinguish them and explain why there is a crucial difference between disruptive corruption and legitime lobbying, which is one of the key stones of modern demorcracy. Szentiványiová, Veronika January 2010 (has links)
The main topic of this diploma thesis is lobbying in the countries of the Visegrad Group. The thesis is structured into two parts: practical and theoretical. The theoretical part addresses topics such as connection between lobbying as a term and its forms, determination of lobbying against corruption, interest groups problematic, which are also closely related to lobbying. In addition, the ways of regulating lobbying are also discussed in this part. In the practical part, lobbying laws in Poland and Hungary are thoroughly analysed together with drafts of laws in the Slovak and the Czech Republic. Furthermore, a comparative analysis was conducted in order to find similarities and differences between those norms. The main aim of the thesis is to provide a closer look at the individual regulatory elements of legislative regulation of lobbying in the countries of the Visegrad Group, as well as to identify similarities and differences between laws and drafts of laws by comparison.
