Religion, en identifierbar faktor i människans inre : En kritisk diskursanalys av religionsbegreppet i svenska läroböcker

Lassgård, Anton January 2016 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to investigate how the concept of religion is constructed as a category in Swedish textbooks from the 1970s until the 1990s. The method consisted of a qualitative approach and Fairclough´s three-dimensional model with the three levels: text, discursive practice and social practice. Six Swedish textbooks for secondary school have been examined with the analysis tool modality. The results from the study show how religion was constructed as a timeless phenomenon, which can be traced through the history of mankind. Throughout the whole study period, human beings were described as being able to reach an inner contact with a higher power through an external action such as prayer. In the study, human life issues were constructed as an eternal need and religion was explained to extinguish these needs.

Ni borde vara som oss : En analys av jesuitmissionären Frans Xaviers beskrivning av den japanska religiositeten 1549–1552.

Staaf, Jesper January 2017 (has links)
The Jesuit missionary St. Francis Xavier was the first European missionary to embark Japan in 1549. His letters show us how he depicted the Japanese faith. Thiis papers´ main question has revolved around how we can better understand Xaviers depictions of the Japanese faith in his correspondence to his peers. Until today, many scholars have been taking for granted that Xavier described this, for him, alien beliefs as separate religions. Xaviers depictions revolves overall around major differences labelled such as idolatry, heathendom and demon worship. In the light of critical religion theory and hermeneutic method the study shows that Xavier most likely did not regard the Japanese teachings as religions at all. This kind of “labels” was rather a way to express something that was not regarded as a separate religion.

Gud är inte skaparen : Svenska nutida nazister och nazistmyten

Martin, Christofer January 2011 (has links)
This essay is about the modern Swedish Nazi movement in relation to the German Nazi movement before and during the Second World War. The analysis is made using the Nazi Myth theory as described by French philosophers Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe & Jean-Luc Nancy. Theory and method are aimed at analysing the Nazi movement as a religious one. In this essay I have identified five main Nazi Myth elements required to realize Nazi ideals and embraced by original German Nazis. Through text analysis I have studied how Swedish Nazis use and reproduce these elements. The result will show that the main elements are well represented in modern Swedish Nazi texts and must be considered as central and bearing in modern Swedish Nazism. However, modern Swedish Nazism is also different from original German Nazism in some ways, for example in view of race, land and art.
