From a Burgher House through the Imperial Court to Loket Castle The Careers of Kaspar and Mates Schlicks in Bohemia, Empire and Saxony (1390-1487) The presented thesis is devoted to the oldest history of the Schlick family. The rise of an originally burgher-class family was based on the court and chancellery career of Kaspar Schlick († 1449); the latter bolstered his successes in the services of Sigismund of Luxembourg and Albrecht and Fridrich Habsburgs by an array of false documents that significantly contributed to the change of his social and economic status (his false promotion to the estate of a count and gaining a fortune). In the second half of the 15th century, after Kaspar's death, his brother Mates and his sons struggled for the preservation of acquired status and health. The following topics were investigated: (1) The utilization of court services and careers for burghers' getting into aristocratic circles, as exemplified by the person of Kaspar Schlick († 1449); (2) The search of strategies the Schlicks - Mates Schlick in particular († 1487) - took to limit themselves from the aristocratic environment, part of which they became. Thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, there is a comprehensive view on the issue of donations in the context of social work. I focused on the characteristics of ethics and morals, on social work with elderly people, their family and the relationship between the worker and the client, as well as on the donations, including the act of receiving the donation, the motivation to donate and evaluation of the donations. In the last chapter I look into the Quality Standards of Social Services and describe here the procedure for receiving donations in several specific facilities. In practical part, my goal is to ascertain the attitude of family members in cases of elderly people wanting to donate to a professional caregiver or directly to a social service provider. In connection with the aim of this thesis, two questions have been defined. The first question is: What are the attitudes of family members who perceive donation as a negative phenomenon (bribe)? The second question is: What concept of life do the family members who perceive the donation to caregiver as neutral or positive adher to? Qualitative research strategy of an in-depth interview technique was chosen to meet the stated research goal. The method of simple deliberate (purposeful) selection was chosen to determine participants. Participants in the research were selected with regard to the family relationship to elderly people who use services of social workers or caregivers. Twelve communication partners attended the research. Data was processed in Atlas.ti 7 program. Data analysis revealed thirteen categories connected with the codes describing the statements of communication partners that expressed positive, neutral or negative attitudes to donations. The results of the research clarify the opinions of family members and thus extend the view on donating to providers of social service.

Reflections of an adolescent's own future may contribute to its future direction. The concept of one's own family occupies an important position in these reflections and, to a certain extent, determines their form. Individuals from institutional care have disrupted original family ties, which are supposed to negatively affect their own family concepts. The diploma thesis is based on a qualitative methodological approach. The family concepts of individuals both from institutional care and regular family environment are investigated under the light of individuals' future orientations. The semi-structured interview and projective graphical methods were assigned to six individuals from institutional care and six individuals from regular family environment. A qualitative analysis of the data gathered confirmed that the concepts of a planned family of adolescents from institutional care differ from those of teens from the regular family environment. Adolescents from institutional care lack the emotional aspect of the family, and the family is perceived primarily as an institution serving to protect its members. The essay deals with the position of widows in the rural society using the example of the domain of Nový Rychnov. It is based on the research of the local sources like parish registers, listings of confesion, land registers, wedding contracts, testaments. As a main methodological basis is used microhistory. The introduction deals with situation of widows on the ground of demographic statistic and in the context of laws. The question women´s position in the rural family and reflection of widowhood by the then society was not disregarded. The attention was concentrated on the way, which particular rural widows resolved situation after their husbands´ death. There were four possibilities in face of widowed women: new marriage, independent leading of farm, retirement and position of inmate. The situation of woman can be changed during her life. This four alternatives is the basis of the following analysis. Particular chapters at first summarize results of research up to now and previous statistical analyses, which have addressed several questions about widows on a general level. Next, the great care is dedicated to concrete examples. The analysis have showed existence of conscious strategies on the part of widowed women. There were usually more possibilities for a widowed woman. Rural women were able to deal with their husbands´ death, assess their current family, financial and legal standing and make a decision based on this assessment. The advance of widowed women always depended on their individual situation and circumstances. The aim of present study is the question, why women opted different types of conclusion their situation. In examining the lives of the widows, one can identify both certain stereotypes, as well as individual strategies. The problem of rural widows cannot be simplified on the result of analysis and demands detailed analysis. The aim of essay is to show, that there were many differencies between widows and their deals.

The submitted thesis is focused on the research of multi-factor conditioned fenomenon of school success and the influences which can affect it and are arising from the family surrounding. The knowledges about the school success and also the academic self-efficacy of a pupil are worked out in the theoretical part of the thesis. The next part belongs to the separated areas of the family effects that influence the school success of the pupil - for example : the parents education level, leisure activities of parents and children, helping with the homeworks and the ways of education within the family. The empiric part is represented by the quantitative research, where the relationship among the chosen factors of family effects and the individual elements of school success are verified throughout the research set of pupils attending the primary school (lower secondary education). The relationship between the academic self-efficacy and the school results of the pupil are being identified in here as well. 1 Maintenance duty between parents and children and ancestors and descendants Resumé The topic of my thesis is the maintenance obligation between parents and children and ancestors and descendants. After the introduction, I addressed the history of maintenance obligation in family law focused on the legal regulation of maintenance obligation. Act No. 265/1949 on Family Law changed the institute of the power of a father to the institute of the power of parents. Father and mother had and have until now the same rights and the same obligations in the upbringing and nutrition of children. First, the law established maintenance obligation for mothers. The said Act did not make difference between a child born to the marriage and a child born outside of marriage. This Act was progressive. The Family Act No. 94/1963 Call. related to the economic change which had an influence on the vast changes of our legal order. The said Act has been amended for several times. Since January1,2014, maintenance obligation has been regulated by the Civil Code, Act No. 89/2012 Coll. into which the family law is incorporated. The final thesis is focused on changes of familial habits of population with emphasis on married life. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the development of marriages from the demographic point of view. Attention will be brought to the progress of first marriages and to the quantity of complete families. The thesis will also cover the classification of demohraphic phenomenon on the basis of chosen indicators. The last part of the thesis includes the cohort analysis which is based on gender, age, year of marriage and marial status.

The aim of this thesis is an analysis of fertility of 1st order in the Czech Republic at period 1950 2014 including international comparision, an enumeration of cohort fertility and also analysis of structure and count of households according to number of childern. The thesis is divided into four parts for accomplishment of the aim. The first part focuses the theoretical interpretation and the analysis of fertility of order in the Czech Republic using indicators like number of live birth, total fertility rate, mean age of birth and portion of children born inside or outside of marriage. The second part compares level of fertility of 1st order in European countries according to NIDI 1999. The third part deals with cohort fertility which is ilustrated with complete cohort fertility rate and mean age at birth. The aim of the thesis is to assess the impact of interest rate developments on the demand for family homes and apartments in the District of Hodonín. Whether or not the influence is assessed by using the database of family houses and flats in the district by the year 2012. Part of the thesis is also the calculation of the average cost of the framework from a State property and the size of the municipality in which the property is situated, and at the same time, it is examined whether occurs due to lower interest rates to the growth of real estate prices. The necessary information about the level of interest rates for each month and the fixation period are listed from the Czech National Bank.
