In the first part of the thesis I summarize the theoretical knowledge of the areas that concern the family, its functions and its importance for a child. I pay attention to basic legal norms and also social work with family. I focus on the concept of the improvement of the family. I continue to a qualitative survey in order to complement the theoretical framework of the specifics of family redevelopment of families with children under three months of age. I have been working with social workers and they agreed on many characters of the improvement of the family, that is provided for the selected target group. There was drawn up a list of organizations that provide improvement of the family in the area of the capital city Prague. These organizations provide a service for the selected target group. This list can also be used in practice. Qualitative investigation confirmed that the improvement of the family is irreplaceable in social services market. From the responses of social workers was showed that in the future there will increase the demand for this service. The situation of the traditional family has been changing and parents feel greater pressure regarding the performance of individual roles in society.

The diploma thesis entitled Forms and methods of cooperation with parents is focused on distance learning in the 1st year of elementary school. It represents a method of teaching that was established in March 2020 in connection with the covid-19 pandemics. During the new school year 2020/21, this form de facto became the main educational form. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the positives and difficulties of distance learning and its specifics in a broader context, especially in terms of methods and forms applied within the cooperation with the family. It is a dynamic material that monitors a longer period of time, and so in connection with the circumstances, the main topic has changed. The work was expanded in a sense of describing the progress in the way of education during the re-closing of schools, thus reflecting the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of parents with the teaching forms and, except for the first year, it also describes the major part of the second year. The theoretical part is focused on three key areas. First, it characterizes distance education, then focuses on the period of entry of the first-graders and, aims to establish suitable ways of communication between the school, family and pupils. The master thesis deal with communication and cooperation between teachers and families on the first grade of elementary school follow up distance learning during state of emergency. It is about types of communication and cooperation between teachers and families which are used and also about pros and cons of distance learning or crucial conditions for distance learning. Theoretical part of the thesis deal with basic knowledges of communication, communication channels and barriers. One of the chapters is about pedagogical communication. Next chapters are focused on cooperation between school and family, especially on expectation from each sides and roles of parents connected to school. Defines topics about teacher, family, distance learning or e-learning. This thesis deals with the phenomenon of socio-pathological behavior of school aged children and explores factors which influence this behavior. Theoretical part describes main topics such as the most common types of risk behavior, which children are inclined to, and also presents a system of prevention in the Czech Republic. As a main factor, which influence the risk behavior in children, has been chosen a factor of family. This part also describes meaning of a family and introduces common methods, which can be used by a social workers to interact with family. Practical part is focused on research of socio-pathological behavior in selected parts of Prague. Research was performed in a form of an interwiev with curators and social workers who work with risk children. The goal of this part was to find out what is the most common type of risk behavior of school aged children and what is the worker's role in prevention of socio-pathological behavior.

This work is concerned with problems of the practice of the authority in the socio- legal protection of children in Ústecký region. The purpose of the work is the analysis of progress in work of the authority in the socio-legal protection of children in the context of the international standards Quality for Children. The theoretical part of the paper describes basic concepts relating to social- legal protection of children in the connection to the standards Quality for Children. The practical part analyzes practical progress in work of the social-legal authority of children in Ústecký region in the context of these standards. The analysis was performed with 20 interviews with officers from socio-legal authority in Ústecký region. The result of my investigation is to analyze the degree of the fulfillment of these standards.

The thesis named Consultation teacher - student - parent at primary school with focus to providing feedback deals with specific role of consultations in the process of education as a form of cooperation between family and school. The aim of this thesis is to closer describe consultations teacher - student - parent in the extensive context and point out their potential in particular from the point of view of the formative assessment. It is a special educational opportunity that facilitates students' personal development and improvement in the process of learning via providing feedback which comes simultaneously from three sides. The theoretical part deals with defining term consultation teacher - student - parent, describing their functions and development as a communication platform. The diploma thesis deals with contacts of a child in foster care with a child's biological family. The aim of this work was to map the experiences of children in foster care with contacts with biological family. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on approaching the system of surrogate family care, further explains the differences between partial forms of surrogate family care. Attention is paid to the experiencing of children, child's identity and also to the subject of attachment. The work deals in detail with the biological family of a child in foster care and their subsequent contacts as one of the main topics. The practical part follows the qualitative processing of narrative interviews, where the effort is to describe how children in long-term foster care experience contact with a biological family. The work is focused on the experience of a child in foster care with contacts with a biological family from the perspective of nine young people growing up in a foster family who formed the research set. The method of simple intentional selection and the snowball method were used to select the participants. The obtained data were evaluated using the cluster method. The research showed 7 clusters common in the participants' statements. These are the following clusters: the child's contact with the biological family; obtaining information about the biological family; feelings connected with contact; child's attitude to the biological parent (relatives); foster parents' reaction to the contact; child-foster relationship; current view of the contact. Each participant looks at the course of contacts with the biological family individually, but the results of the research have shown that there are situations that informants and informatics have in common. For example, the desire to get to know their biological parents, although individuals need time to process the obtained information about the biological family before contacting the biological family. The thesis will help to raise awareness about foster care and may be useful for future foster parents.

My thesis work deals with working with the family of a social services client. Social services can be defined as a set of activities to provide assistance to persons in unfavourable social situations. The main purpose of social services is to preserve human dignity and to encourage the given persons to pursue activities that do not protract or worsen their social situation (in other words, to prevent their social exclusion). People may find themselves in a difficult social situation for various reasons (e.g. because of age or poor health status). The most frequent social services users are seniors and persons with disabilities. With regard to the fact that in the future I would like to work in a job treating the above-mentioned target groups, I focused on them in my thesis. I suppose that mutual cooperation between a family and the staff in the social care providing facility can have a positive affect on the client himself. For this reason, I conceived my thesis in a broader context - a family, a social services user and a social services provider. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes all the important aspects related to a family, social services and basic characteristics of the Blansko district. In the practical part the target of the thesis was stated. I wanted to learn what problems most families face (not just prior to placing the client to a social services facility, but also in the course of the stay), what their experience with the facility is and whether they are informed about all available social services offered in the area. To compile the thesis quantitative research was applied. I used the method of questioning, the technique of structured interviews with family members of senior home clients and persons with mental disabilities attending a daycare stationary. The thesis could serve as information material on social services not only for families involved in my research, but also for the general public - to provide information about availability of social services for seniors and persons with mental disabilities in the Blansko district in the South Moravian Region.

" A partial aim of this thesis is to describe the current state of child palliative care in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this diploma thesis is not to map all the methods of social work that could be used in practice, but to note the seriousness, the topicality of the problems and to point out the different perception of the given situation.
