Esta dissertação dedica-se ao estudo comparado de dois romances espanhóis contemporâneos da segunda metade do século XX: El exilio interior e La veu melodiosa, respectivamente de Miguel Salabert e Montserrat Roig. Procura examinar semelhanças e diferenças existentes a partir de alguns traços comuns às duas obras, pois ambas têm um perfil de romance de formação cujo enredo concentra-se na relação tensa entre o herói e a sociedade espanhola dos anos da guerra civil e da ditadura franquista. / This dissertation is devoted to the comparative study of two contemporary Spanish novels of the second half of the twentieth century: El exilio interior and La veu melodiosa, by Miguel Salabert and Montserrat Roig respectively. It attempts to examine the similarities and differences from a few features the two works have in common, since both have a profile of novel of formation whose plot centers on the strained relationship between the hero and the Spanish society of the years of civil war and Franco\'s dictatorship.

Esta dissertação trata do livro de contos El canto de la juventud (1990), escrito por Montserrat Roig (1946-1991), e busca discutir os possíveis modos como a memória se configura ficcionalmente através da ótica feminina em torno à noção de biblioteca. Na obra delineia-se um passado que remonta ao período do pós-guerra civil espanhola, o que leva à reflexão sobre a conjuntura histórico-social relacionada com a contenda. São destacados aspectos biográficos de Montserrat Roig, bem como relativos à sua produção literária e não ficcional, marcada pela presença da língua catalã e da mulher, com vistas a embasar a leitura das narrativas que, em um primeiro momento, sinaliza para o processo composicional da lembrança e, posteriormente, aprofunda essa ideia. Esta análise está centrada nos contos El canto de la juventud, A salvo de la guerra y de las olas, Madre, no entiendo a los salmones e Antes que merezca el olvido, que propiciam o exame acerca do exercício rememorativo, configurado também pelo esquecimento e pela criação imaginativa do passado. / This dissertation on the short story book El canto de la juventud (1990) by Montserrat Roig (1946-1991) is aimed at discussing how memory is fictionally designed from a feminine perspective based on the notion of library. The past exhibited in the stories traces back to the post-Spanish Civil War years, which leads us to reflect on the circumstances of the conflict. In order to support our study of those narratives, we highlight some biographical aspects of Montserrat Roigs life and provide information on her literary and non-fictional works, imprinted by the Catalan language and the female presence. At first, we point out the compositional process of memories, which we further elaborate. Such analysis focuses on the short stories El canto de la juventud, A salvo de la guerra y de las olas, Madre, no entiendo a los salmones and Antes que merezca el olvido, once they allow us to examine the remembering exercise, also formed by oblivion and the imaginative recreation of the past.

La investigación desarrollada en la presente Tesis Doctoral, se centra en la figura del Catedrático de restauració Luis Roig D'Alós (Valencia 1904-1968), que desarrolló su labor dentro del campo de la conservación-restauración entre los años 20 y 60 del pasado siglo, una época en la que en España la intervención sobre las obras de arte se realizaba generalmente por los artistas con criterios muy alejados de la idea de conservación que hoy conocemos.
El trabajo antes de entrar a valorar la labor del profesor Roig D'Alos analiza la situación de la restauración tanto en España, como en Europa, poniendo de manifiesto las lagunas existentes en este campo además de la escasez de canles de información científica para investigar en el mismo.
A partir de ahí y mediante la indagación en los archivos de la familia Roig Picazo, así como la investigación en las diferentes instituciones españolas e italianas con las que Roig D'Alós tuvo relación, se ha podido reconocer la trayectoria desarrollada como escultor, restaurador, profesor e investigador, destacando su continua búsqueda de respuestas, a través de la experimentación controlada, desarrollando fórmulas, técnicas y procesos de intervención de probada eficacia.
En el campo de la conservación-restauracón cabe destacar el haber sido pionero, en la práctica y en la enseñanza de la restauración moderna, poniendo en marcha en Valencia en 1940, una de las primeras asignaturas de restauración de España, utilizando criterios, procedimientos y técnicas claramente modernos, que todavía tardarían décadas en extenderse a nivel nacional. Nos refermiso a temas como: la realización del examen previo de la obra para reconocer sus materiales, técnicas y deterioros, utilizando técnicas fotográficas avanzadas como la fotografia de espectro ultravioleta: el uso de la mesa de forrado al vacío inventada en Alemania, la utlizacion de materiales reversible en los diferentes procesos de la restauracion; el uso de criterios de restitución claramente / Bosch Roig, L. Barcelona: Espacio Literario, Espacio Urbano en la Novela Catalana Femenina del Siglo XXLlaveria-Powell, Elisabeth 28 March 2013 (has links)
This dissertation analyses, through a rhetorical framework and a literary approach, texts written in Catalan and Castilian by four Catalan female writers (Dolors Monserdà, Maria Aurèlia Capmany, Esther Tusquets, Monserrat Roig ), whose works cover from 1900 to the 1980. Utilizing this urban feminine literature, it discusses the historical-geographical vision about the changes in Catalan society during the twentieth century with its consequences for the urban space, especially the space occupied by women. It is also established that Barcelona’s recovery and literary vindication by women has been done through the written text, as literary affirmation and as a matter of conscience in which the city could not be summed up as a backdrop, but rather as an active part of a literary creation, active in the double sense, as a socio-historical space in the novel and as characteristic of their works.
The primary purpose of this dissertation is to demonstrate that the use of the city as a setting for the novels determines and characterizes those female writers’ texts. Consequently, these writings are literary material relevant and essential to the understanding of the Barcelonian women’s space. However their use of space is not arbitrary, on the contrary it corresponds to a social order established by the patriarchy where the relation of women to the world is embodied in the intentional and socially restricted space and movements of their bodies.
The theoretical perspectives of this study are based on Montserrat Roig’s feminist urban space theories. Her theory advocates the right to individuality, denouncing the patriarchal and hierarchical social system present in gendered space from the outside male world to the domestic feminized space. I also turn to the writings of Maria Aurèlia Capmany, who addresses cultural aspects of women’s roles revealing a purposive controlled patriarchal society according to a historical-geographical analysis. This study of texts permits a new reading of the Catalan capital and demonstrates that Catalan women writers have consciously willed to give birth to a new history of the city: the history of women as protagonist citizens, producers, reproducers, and consumers of the space represented by the Catalan capital
