Využití reverzního inženýrství pro výpočty aerodynamiky automobilu / The utilization of reverse engineering in computation of vehicle aerodynamics

Rozsíval, Jan January 2008 (has links)
The vehicle body was measured by using ATOS 3D scanner. Measured data from the ATOS 3D scanner were applied to make a 3D model of vehicle body and to make a 3D model of whole vehicle by using computer program Pro/ENGINEER. The model of vehicle was made with a view for future use of CAD model. Surface of the vehicle model was used for computation of vehicle aerodynamics – aerodynamic static pressure distribution by using CFD software Star-CCM+.

Modernizace 3D měřicího přístroje / Modernization of 3D measuring instrument

Janoušek, Pavel January 2012 (has links)
The theme of this thesis is solving modernization of 3D measuring instrument. The modernization was necessary for implementation of new activities. Based on customer’s requirements, a new Incoming Inspection for the new projects was established. Another reason for modernization is development of new products. These new products require the most modernized measuring technology. There are presented 4 variants of solution.

Měření a analýza kinematických vlastností zavěšení formule Student Dragon 1 / Measurement and Analysis of Kinematic Properties of Formula Student Dragon 1 Suspension

Martinec, Jiří January 2013 (has links)
The Diploma Thesis is focused on influence of manufacturing inaccuracy on suspension kinematics of Formula Student car Dragon 1. The real kinematics points were measured with 3D optical scanners and then the real vehicle kinematics was analysed. The gained data were compared with the ideal suspension points. For these purposes was used multibody system software MSC ADAMS.

Analýza modálních vlastností lopatkové řady s lopatkami svázanými Z-vazbou / Modal Analysis of the Blades Row Tied with Z-tie

Valoušek, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is about modal analysis of the rotor blades row tied with Z-tie. Thesis was solved by finite element system ANSYS. Cyclic symmetry was used in this thesis with the aim of obtain eigen frequency of bladed disc. The next aim of this thesis was to find eigen frequency of the free rotor blades and to compare it with frequency obtained from experiment. 3D model was created by 3D scanner and CAD system CATIA.

Měření tvaru zatížené pneumatiky / Shape Measurement of Loaded Tyre

Hlavatý, Jiří January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is focused on measuring the shape of loaded tire and finding dependencies between inner tire pressure, load and the influence of these parameters on the resulting shape of the tire. Data for these dependencies were obtained by using a constructed measuring stand and 3D optical technology. Found dependencies describe the change in shape of the tire in specific mathematical functions, and served the creation of a parametric model of the tire. The main finding of this thesis is that the tire is actually behaves according to dependencies described by varying degrees of polynomial function.

Modular File Scanner for RPM / Modular File Scanner for RPM

Mlčoch, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)

A comparison of three types of orthodontic study models

Madhoo, Amika January 2020 (has links)
Magister Scientiae Dentium - MSc(Dent) / The aim of this present study was to compare the accuracy of digital and printed study models with plaster study models, that are considered the gold standard. The objectives were to compare the accuracy of measurements obtained from digital and printed study models with those of plaster study models, to establish which type of study model yielded the most accurate measurements in comparison to plaster study models and to identify possible disadvantages and errors that can be made using any of the three types of study models.

Investigation of the use of Laser Scanning for Deformation Monitoring

Hulumtaye Kefyalew Yederulh, Hulumtaye January 2013 (has links)
The ability of fast and accurate acquiring of large 3D spatial data is the main benefit for consideration of a terrestrial laser scanner in deformation monitoring. The objective of this paper is to discuss this technique with support of practical experiments performed inside a laboratory. It also includes measuring changes from millimetre to sub millimetre level and a comparison of measurements from a terrestrial laser scanner with measurements of other instruments. Various areas of applications are reviewed. The report discusses a surface modeling method to estimate deformation parameters of objects, such as planar, spherical and cylindrical surface representations. Illustrative numerical examples are performed by simulating randomly generated sample point coordinates for estimation of changes of modeled planar and cylindrical surfaces. The practical experiments were performed using a scan of a carton box, a ball and a rounded paper holder, which correspond to the planar, spherical and cylindrical surfaces, respectively. Independent measurements were performed using a total station and a measuring tape to make a comparison with the scanner measurements. A statistical test was performed independently for the changes obtained from each type of modeled surface in order to check whether the movement is real or due to measurement noises.  A significant change of the normal of a plane was detected between epochs, and similar results were obtained from both scanner and total station measurements. The normal of the plane was rotated by  between scan epochs. A translation of 3.2 and 3.7 millimetres were detected between scan epochs for the center of the sphere and axis of the cylinder, respectively. Only the scanner data was used in this case. From the scanner measurement changes in radii of the sphere and the cylinder were obtained as 1.6 and 3.1 millimetres, respectively between scan epochs. The measurement of the scanner was verified by performing independent measurements using measuring tape. And hence the change in radii of the sphere and the cylinder were obtained as 2.5 and 4 millimetres, respectively.
