Sender (1901 -1982), como alguns dos conflitos vividos cotidianamente pelos operários e camponeses, convocados compulsoriamente ao exército espanhol durante a Guerra del Rif (1920-1927), já antecipavam as encruzilhadas éticas e morais que seriam visíveis com a Guerra Civil Espanhola (1936-1939). O romance ambientado em meio a combates entre espanhóis e marroquinos, apresenta como seu ponto culminante, o Desastre de Annual, grave derrota dos espanhóis em meio a perseguições e martírios infligidos pelos mouros. O objetivo desta dissertação é observar dentro da atmosfera ficcional, a dinâmica da colisão entre os hábitos e tensões cotidianas e a liberdade individual dos personagens. Deste choque resultam atitudes animadas pelo conformismo ou pela autonomia. Na medida em que as atitudes baseadas na autonomia podem equivaler a um rompimento das forças conformadoras orientadas pelo horror e pelo medo cotidianos, é possível ver em algumas dessas ações gestos de acolhimento e dignificação do lugar do outro, sinalizando, portanto, as implicações éticas das decisões individuais e a natureza dos conflitos morais presentes na narrativa. Para a compreensão dos marcos teóricos entre cotidiano, história e literatura foram utilizados conceitos da filósofa Agnes Heller (1929-), assim como para a problematização ética e moral, a dissertação se apoiou em visões críticas da filósofa e do próprio Sender. Passagens do romance Campo de los Almendros (1968), de Max Aub (1903-1972), ofereceram uma chaveliterária pela qual foi possível observar, no universo ficcional da Guerra Civil Espanhola, eventuais repercussões éticas, morais e históricas dos fatos retratados em Imán. A natureza similar dos conflitos nas duas guerras revela uma proximidade pela qual se podem ver os eventos ficcionais de Imán como uma matriz literária suficientemente representativa dos dilemas que ganhariam substância com a Guerra civil Espanhola. O fato dos conflitos presentes em Imán, crescerem em uma atmosfera, muitas vezes rotineira e alienante, soa como uma advertência para a importância ética das escolhas individuais diárias, assim como suas relações com a responsabilidade histórica e essencial do homem / La presente tesina se dedica a investigar a través de la novela Imán (1930) del escritor Ramón J. Sender (1901-1982) cómo algunos de los conflictos vividos cotidianamente por los obreros y campesinos, convocados a servir el ejército español durante la Guerra del Rif (1920-1927), ya anticipaban las encrucijadas éticas y morales que serían visibles con la Guerra Civil Española (1936-1939). La obra ambientada en medio a los combates trabados entre españoles y marroquíes tiene para su punto cumbre el Desastre de Annual, una grave derrota seguida por crueles martirios que a los españoles se les impusieron los moros. Nuestro objetivo es investigar, dentro de la atmósfera ficcional, la dinámica de la colisión de los hábitos y tensiones cotidianas con la libertad de la decisión individual de los personajes. De este choque resultan actitudes animadas por el conformismo o por la autonomía. A la proporción que las actitudes basadas en la autonomía pueden equivaler a un rompimiento de las fuerzas conformadoras orientadas por el horror y el miedo cotidianos, es posible ver, en algunas de estas acciones, gestos de acogimiento y dignificación del lugar del otro, señalando, por lo tanto, las implicaciones éticas de las decisiones individuales y la naturaleza de los conflictos morales presentes en la narrativa. Para la comprensión de los marcos teóricos entre cotidiano, historia y literatura se utilizaron conceptos de la filósofa Agnes Heller (1929- ), así como para la problematización ética y moral, el trabajo se apoyó en visiones críticas de esa filósofa, bien como del propio Sender. Fragmentos de la novela Campo de los Almendros (1968), de Max Aub (1903-1972), ofrecieron una clave literaria por la cual se pudiera observar en el universo ficcional de la Guerra Civil Española, las repercusiones éticas, morales e históricas de los hechos retratados en Imán. La naturaleza semejante de los conflictos en las dos guerras expone una proximidad por la cual se pueden ver los hechos ficcionales de Imán como una cuna literaria suficientemente representativa de los dilemas que ganarían sustancia con la Guerra Civil Española. El hecho de que los conflictos presentes en Imán, crecieron en una atmósfera cotidiana, muchas veces rutinaria y alienante, suena como una advertencia a la importancia ética de las escojas individuales diarias, así como sus relaciones con la responsabilidad histórica y esencial del hombre

Background- Communication messages today are all about influencing and persuading people. Two main types of messages can be seen when studying the healthy food trend on Instagram and how it is impacting attitude formation and change; these two are positive and negative messages. However, different communication messages are not the only deciders of attitude formation and change. There is one more significant factor that impacts attitude formation and change; this factor is identification with the message sender. Purpose- The purpose of this thesis is to identify whether positively or negatively themed messages on Instagram have a stronger impact on a person's attitudes regarding healthy food consumption. We will further examine if identification with the message sender additionally impacts attitude formation and change. Method- In order to fulfill the purpose of the thesis we used a qualitative research approach. We conducted interviews with 40 respondents that belonged to our main target group. Furthermore we conducted a robustness check with six respondents. All 46 respondents included in the qualitative study were Instagram users, and all the respondents in the main target group were students. Findings and Conclusion- After analyzing the empirical results together with suitable theories, some main conclusions could be drawn. The study demonstrated that positive communication messages are the preferred message type on Instagram. We further conclude that identification with the message sender does indeed have an additional impact on attitude formation and change. Based on this study we can say that communication messages and identification with the message sender work together in forming and changing attitudes regarding healthy food on Instagram. Practical Implications- This thesis gives valuable indications to companies, organizations and decision makers in order to direct marketing practices in terms of communication messages on social media, particularly Instagram. Moreover it gives insights for managers to be able to create communication messages that correspond to the expectations of the society. A new authentication mechanism for validating the source of messages over the Internet is designed and evaluated. This mechanism is applied to email and is called Email++. Email++ prevents identity forging (spoofing) and tampering of email contents. By preventing identity forging, Email++ can reduce the amount of spam received and limit the spread of viruses like Melissa, Love Bug, Bagle Worm, and Killer Resume. Email++ validates both the sender and the receiver of an email by confirming the senders identity with the domain mail server that delivered the email for the sender, and authenticates the receiver with hash value comparisons. Email++ enables payment mechanisms, including micro-cash, and challenge response schemes that use puzzle solving. MD5 hash signatures generated both at the sender and the receiver locations are used for validating the senders identity and for making email tamper resistant in the network. An out-of-band TCP connection established between the sender and the receiver is used as a communication channel for validating the sender as well as the senders email server. The information needed for establishing an out-of-band TCP connection is obtained by querying the DNS (Domain Naming System), instead of using email headers from the received mail, which are susceptible to spoofing. The Email++ technique is compared with existing anti spam and anti-spoof techniques like SPF, Yahoo Domain Keys, Microsoft Sender ID, TEOS and PGP. The Email++ specification is evaluated by developing both Email++ client and Email++ server programs in C language and using Sendmail 8.12 as the mail server. The performance of Email++ is compared with standard SMTP protocol implementation of Sendmail 8.12. Several factors are considered in evaluating the performance. CPU demand, memory demand, bandwidth demand, email latency, and extra DNS load are measured for both email sender and the receiver. The performance evaluation results show that Email++ adds an extra CPU demand of about 11%. The extra memory required by Email++ is nearly 3%. The bandwidth demand of Email++ is around 15% greater than the standard SMTP for sending 500 emails of 3.5KB each. Extra load on DNS increases by one connection for every incoming mail at the receiver.

This study is an assessment of the topics of religion and fantasy in several novels of Ram6n Sender which various critics have characterized as being particularly concerned with one or both of the topics. Both published and unpublished works of criticism and history have been, consulted. The "Introduction" provides biographical and critical information. Chapter II documents in the characterization and the observations and actions of characters significant reflections of the author's attitude toward religion. In Chapter III the primary emphasis is upon the illogical, the absurd, and the grotesque, The "Conclusion" states that in the opinion of critics, in the significance of characterization, and by his own admission, Sender is liberal, anticlerical, humanistic, and occasionally attracted to the fantastic.
