Jablonská, Dominika January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with the problematice of measuring membrane potential and monitoring the propagation of electrical activity of cells. For this purpose, fluorescence membrane voltage sensors have been developed to detect changes in the membrane potential by changing their fluorescence intensity. The practical part is focused on the study of the properties of the ASAP1 fluorescence probe, which was transfected into the HEK293 cell line, which are kidney cells from the human embryo. Cell membrane potential was changed using the patch-clamp technique.

Optovláknové senzory neelektrický veličin / Non-elektricity Quantities Fiber Optic Sensor

Mytyska, Kamil January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with an analysis of the method of propagation of optical fiber by two polarization planes. The method of light propagation is mathematically described using Jones and Stokes vectors. The first part describes wave theory of light divided by Fresnel wave theory, polarization ellipse, degenerate polarization states, parameters of polarization ellipse, Poincaré sphere and degenerated states on Poincaré sphere. Then follows Stokes and Jones polarization parameters, their vectors and Mueller matrix. In addition this paper illustrates the principle of the temperature sensor which is carried out with the help of the polarimeter and its computer program. The following is design of temperature sensor, which is composed of polarizer, photodiode, light output meter and digital multimeter. Another part of the thesis shows the measured values using the current measurement solution using polarimeter and proposed photodiode sensor. At the end of the thesis there is a comparison of the measured values for the three different temperatures that were applied to the optical fiber.

Mikrotalasni senzori vlažnosti zemljišta zasnovani na komponentama sa distribuiranim parametrima / Microwave soil moisture sensors based on distributed elements

Kitić Goran 04 October 2016 (has links)
Ostvarena relativna greška u odnosu na pun merni opseg iznosi 5.36%.</p> / <p>Soil moisture sensors are of great importance for the irrigation systems that<br />are able to increase the yiel on avarage of 79%. Within this thesis two sensor<br />solutions have been developed. The first sensor, which is intended for<br />laboratory use, has been designed by upgrading existing sampling<br />equipment. The constructed calibration curve for this type of sensor that can<br />be used for soil mositure determination with relative error not larger than<br />2.5% with respect to full scale output. The second sensor solution is<br />designed to be used in the field. It is fabricated in LTCC technology and it is<br />charaterized by small overall dimensions. The main advantage of this sensor<br />is that it is immune to the soil electrical conductivity which is closely related to<br />the soil type. Proposed sensor is tested on two soil sample of different<br />chemical composition and the results have shown that the type of soil does<br />not influence the sensor response. The relative error with the respect of full<br />scale output was only 5.36 %.</p>

Objektivizace opěrné báze kojenců na přelomu prvního a druhého trimenonu pomocí tlakového senzoru Conformat - pilotní studie / Objectification of supporting base of infants at the edge of third and fourth month via using a pressure plate Conformat - pilot study

Janoušek, David January 2016 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to contribute to discovering a method which can lead to objectification of support base of infants in prone position at the edge of third and fourth month. The motor development during first six months is described in this thesis based on literature search. Part of the thesis is dedicated to selected primitive reflexes and postural reactions. Furthermore, the work deals with objectification of support base of infants at the edge of third and fourth month. In the study were evaluated 10 infants (5 males and 5 females) with average age 14,01 ± 2,2 weeks. Distribution of support was assessed in three situations such as prone position, prone position with maximal rotation of head to the left and prone position with maximal rotation of head to the right. The results did not show significant difference in weight bearing the left and right upper extremity in prone position. However there was a significant difference in weight bearing in the upper extremities during head rotation. The upper extremity on the side of rotation was more loaded. The weight applied to the upper and lower extremities was significantly different in every evaluated situation. Upper extremities were always weighted more. Keywords Supporting base, developmental kinesiology, postural reactions, primitive...

Studium detekčních vlastností křemíkových stripových senzorů pro projekt ATLAS ITk Upgrade / Study of Detection Performance of Silicon Strip Sensors for ATLAS ITk Upgrade Project

Latoňová, Věra January 2018 (has links)
The upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider into the High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider requires a complete replacement of the ATLAS Inner Detector by a new all-silicon Inner Tracker. For this reason a new micro-strip sensor type n+ -in-p was developed. These sensors are expected to have many advantages, such as higher radiation resistance, the ability to operate even if not fully de- pleted and faster response. The main purpose of this thesis is to study and evaluate the detection performance and radiation hardness of the n+ -in-p sen- sor type with the help of electrical characteristics performed on the delivered sensors. The obtained results are compared to the Market Survey Step-2 require- ments and in the case of the sensors designed for the ATLAS Inner Tracker also to the corresponding Technical Specification document. 1

Využití biofeedback senzorů pro aktivaci dechové a posturální funkce bránice u pacientů s chronickou low-back pain / Utilization of biofeedback sensors for the activation of breathing and postural function of diaphragm in patients with chronic low-back pain

Macigová, Lucie January 2019 (has links)
This thesis is focusing on objectifying the postural function of diaphragm with a biofeedback sensor in patients with low back pain (LBP). The theoretical part provides an overview of known facts about the postural function of the abdominal muscles and diaphragm and the connection between their activation and the change in intra-abdominal pressure and the origin of LBP. The thesis gives specifics of LBP, its etiology and possible methods of classification of non-specific LBP, as well as the methods of evaluating subjective disability. Other methods of objectifying postural functions other than the one used in this thesis are mentioned briefly. Methodology: In the experimental part, we used a capacitive force sensor to test 31 patients with non-specific chronic LBP (aver. age 25.25, SD ± 4.66, aver. height 176.77 cm, SD ± 9.97, aver. weight 77.93 kg, SD ±18.40) in 3 posturally different seated scenarios - resting breathing, with added external load when the subjects held a dumbbell of 20 % of their body weight) and with maximum voluntary increase in intra-abdominal pressure (the diaphragm test). The sensor position was on lumbar triangle and in the groin area. Oswestry Questionaire v2.1a was used to evaluate subjective disability. Results: An independent t-test analysis showes increase in the...
