IPO - od technologické bubliny až po Facebook / IPO since the technology bubble to Facebook

Janičíková, Monika January 2012 (has links)
The thesis IPO since the technology bubble to Facebook deals with IPO development during the last fifteen years. The cyclical development of numbers and volume of raised capital is observable. From the theoretical point of view the market timing theory reflects this situation very well. Analysis of stock market bubble blowing and bursting performed mainly during the technological revolution at the end of the 20th century and partly during REITs bubble lead to conclusion that there mentioned fundamental indicators are not able to explain the bubble as a whole. According to indicative valuation and comparative methods IPO offer price of the company Facebook was about 23--27 % overvalued. In connection with subsequent problematic development of the company it is not likely to happen that the Facebook's IPO starts a new IPO wave in the internet media sector.

Value at Risk: Historická simulace, variančně kovarianční metoda a Monte Carlo simulace / Value at Risk: Historical simulation, variance covariance method and Monte Carlo

Felcman, Adam January 2012 (has links)
The diploma thesis "Value at Risk: Historical simulation, variance covariance method and Monte Carlo" aims to value the risk which real bond portfolio bears. The thesis is decomposed into two major chapters: Theoretical and Practical chapters. The first one speaks about VaR and conditional VaR theory including their advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, there are described three basic methods to calculate VaR and CVaR with adjustments to each method in order to increase the reliability of results. The last chapter brings results of VaR and CVaR computation. Many graphs, tables and images are added to the result section in order to make the outputs more visible and well-arranged.

Simulace procesu přidělování dotací v rámci Strategického plánu LEADER / Subsidies distribution process simulation as a part of LEADER strategic plan

Libosvár, Jan January 2012 (has links)
LEADER method is European Policy of Economic and Social Cohesion's tool that focuses on a rural development. LEADER program is a part of Program for Rural Development which Ministry of Agriculture has responsibility of in the Czech Republic. Method LEADER is used by Local Action Group which is a community that associates delegates of public and private sector. One of Local Action Group's goals is distribution of subsidies received from the EU funds and national programs. The main goal of this thesis is construction of a simulation model that demonstrates whole process of subsidies distribution. Analysis of received applications for subsidies and usage of grant from applied allocation should be created by the simulation. Based on obtained results changes are implemented in the model that can improve process of subsidies distribution.

Simulační analýza dopadů alternativních sazeb DPH. / Simulation analysis of the impact of alternative rates of VAT

Lacinová, Věra January 2011 (has links)
This thesis is composed of free main chapters. The first two chapters of is a theoretical part. The first chapter is devoted to the theory of economic policy and analysis of economic indicators. The second chapter concerns the econometric theory and describes vector autoregression models theory and econometric forecasting. In the third, practical part, aims to find out with the help of real data of the Czech economy impacts of alternative VAT rates on selected indicators of the czech economy, these indicators are gross domestic product, unemployment rate and consumer price index. As a tool to determine the impact of using models and vector autoregression method scenarios.

Reálné využití metod operačního výzkumu ve spojení s logistickými technologiemi / The real use of operations research methods in conjunction with logistics technologies

Fesenko, Anastasiya January 2011 (has links)
This diploma focuses on the real use of operations research methods in conjunction with logistics technologies. The aim is to show the way of optimization and simulation methods application and to evaluate if these methods are suitable tools for logistics technology application. Following logistic technologies were analysed: Just in Time, Kanban, Cross-Docking and Hub and Spoke. Used mathematical tools include: mixed linear programming models, distribution models, methods of multi-criteria evaluation and simulation models. On the basis of mathematical models 4 examples of new technologies introduction or analysis of already functioning systems have been solved.

Strojové učení pro simulovaná vojenská vozidla / Machine Learning for Simulated Military Vehicles

Závorka, Kamil January 2021 (has links)
Recent research in the field of neural networks has shown that this is a very promising area of artificial intelligence. Results of the research indicate that neural networks are currently able to at least match humans in many areas. One of the intensively researched sectors is the driving of autonomous vehicles. Although most people focus on autonomous vehicles in the real world, this new artificial intelligence can also be beneficial for driving in the digital world. As more and more activities and experiments are being moved from real environments to simulated environments, the demands on the quality of artificial intelligence found in digital environments are also increasing. The aim of this work was to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence based on deep feedback learning in the field of parking simulated vehicles. Based on this research, we created a prototype neural network and evaluated this prototype during parking in a simulated environment.

Modelování PLC komunikace s využitím Network Simulator-3 / Modeling of power line communication using Network Simulator-3

Turan, Jonáš January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with analysis and modelling of power line communications. The main aim is to examine the effects influencing transsmision of communication signals on powerline networks and theoretical capacity of the PLC channel using PLC framework created in NS-3. The introduction summarizes the theoretical knowledge in the area of data transmission over power line distribution network. Different types of noise and possibilities of calculation of theoretical transmission capacity are described as well. Several simple simulations are realized in practical part of this paper. These simulations explore the influence of the distance between the transmitter and receiver, length, impedance and number of branches between these nodes, affect of the type of modulation and noise on the transfer function as well as the capacity of the channel. There are also some simulations for large topology based on real position of electrometer. The main focus is to find positions of repeaters to ensure that some nodes of the topology can communicate.

Modelování Lithium Iontových akumulátorů pomocí ECM / Modelling of lithium ion batteries using ECM

Langer, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
The main aim of this paper are models of Li-Ion storage batteries made and simulated in ANSYS Fluent software. Various ways of simulations are discussed with main aim on ECM method and how its numerical model is computed. A process of getting information and required data from real battery to be compared with simulation results by EIS method is also discussed. These results are then compared with results from ANSYS Fluent.

Řízení BLDC motoru pomocí LabView FPGA / BLDC motor control using LabView FPGA

Ruhás, Sándor January 2018 (has links)
This thesis focuses on BLDC motor control algorithms with model based design approach. Models and control algorithms were programmed in LabView, the NI MyRIO was used as a hardware platform. For hall-sensor feedback controlled application an already finished power inverter was used from a Honeywell rotary actuator. For sensor-less motor control an indirect sensing of BEMF signal is applied using motor phase current measurement. The time-critical parts of the algorithms are programmed for FPGA, the non-time-critical parts are programmed for LabView Real-Time module.

Optimalizace zavěšení závodního vozidla / Optimisation of Race Car Suspension

Gašpar, Dominik January 2018 (has links)
The thesis deals with the kinematic characteristics of vehicle suspension and its essential parameters, analysis and optimization for use on ride on unpaved surface. Subsequent analysis of change of kinematics on driving simulations shall verify the modifications made in terms of driving characteristics of the race car
