Vývoj periodického tisku na Pelhřimovsku v letech 1948-1989 / Development of Periodical Press in Pelhřimov Region during Years 1948-1989

The aim of this dissertation is to characterize the development of the press in the district of Pelhřimov between the years 1948 and 1989 on the geographical, political, social and cultural background in Czechoslovakia as well as this concrete region. On the ground of available material the dissertation also adumbrates the management of a regional newspaper office and the work there. The attention is paid on the main district periodical. The first chapter of the dissertation offers a picture of the historical background of that time as well as the management of printed newspapers in Czechoslovakia. The regional affairs are set in a deeper context. The second chapter devotes a detailed description of political, economical, social, cultural and sports events in the district of Pelhřimov and their reflexion in the press. The main constituent of this chapter is an overview of the district periodicals raging from Týdeník Cesta vysočinou, Hlas Vysočiny, Vesnické noviny Pelhřimovska, Pelhřimovské noviny to Nástup and Hlas Vysočiny in 1990. Příprava a průběžná podpora dobrovolníků HoSt Home-Start ČR / Preparation and continuous support of volunteers of HoSt Home-Start CR

(in English) This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of training and support of volunteers from the HoSt Home-Start CR organization. The aim was to find out an opinion of volunteers and coordinators on the quality of their training and support, provided by the organization. The second aim was to find out how much are the volunteers ready to volunteer in a client's family. Gathered information will serve coordinators as a guideline for improving the services for volunteers. The outcome of this diploma thesis is a questionnaire, which will help the organization to get a feedback from future absolvents of the training. The theoretical part focuses on four main topics - volunteering, volunteer, family and options of its support, volunteering in the field of family support. Results of my research inside the organisation are presented in the practical part. I chose semi-structured interviews as my research method. They were done with volunteers and coordinators of the organization. Recommendations for changes in particular subjects of training and support have resulted from the answers of the respondents. These results are summarized at the end of my thesis.

The diploma thesis deals with the experiences of emergency medical workers when going to patients in an unfavorable social situation. Medical rescue service according to Act No. 374/2011 Coll. on emergency medical services, should provide pre-hospital emergency care to patients in acute life-threatening conditions. Nevertheless, the crews of the ambulance service go to patients whose problems fall more into the social field. These patients do not primarily need medical intervention, yet rescuers in the field have to deal with these situations. The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out and compare the experience of rescuers when going to patients in an unfavorable social situation. Find out how rescuers experience and interpret these situations, what situations they encounter during these trips and how they understand the concept of an unfavorable social situation. The theoretical part of this work deals with the definition of basic concepts in the field of emergency medical services and social work. The empirical part is devoted to qualitative research. It contains a description of the research methodology, analysis of interviews with rescuers and their evaluation. The thesis describes the development of regional periodicals in Mladá Boleslav from 1945 to the beginning of normalization in 1969 in terms of the historical, political and social background. The main objective is to describe how the most important regional newspapers looked and what they wrote. At the time of the Third Republic there were weekly political magazines: Social Democratic Hlas lidu and Communistic Naše Pojizeří (later called Naše noviny). During the fifties there was a rural newspapers called Nová vesnice within the central regional press, which at the end of the fifties, transformed into the district newspaper Mladoboleslavsko, later renamed Zář Mladoboleslavska. Other significant titles in the district were also racing magazine Ventil cultural monthly magazine Život mladoboleslavské kultury in the sixties. The thesis provides a historical overview and a formal content analysis of each regional periodicals. To complement the broader context of the main theme the author summarizes the development of regional print media before 1945, as well as briefly describes the political history of Czechoslovakia during the periods 1945 to 1969 including media management techniques and providing social, demographic and economic characteristics of the district of Mladá Boleslav. This thesis deals with the life of mothers with children in the shelter. The thesis maps expectations of these women about living in the shelter in the confrontation with their real experience. The thesis is divided into several parts. Theoretical part consists of nine subchapters where the basic concepts related to the issue of social services - shelters, unfavorable social situation, social exclusion and social inclusion are defined. The thesis describes the principles of the activity of shelters for mothers with children, deals with the state of care for mothers with children in our country and characterizes the development and changes in the function of the family. The thesis also deals with the reasons leading to the loss of housing, the issues of homelessness and housing accessibility. It describes and characterizes the possibilities of social protection of mothers with children without home, besides social services - shelters also conditions for entitlement to social benefits and the relevant legislation. The empirical part defines the objectives, research methods and results, which are illustrated and described in tables, discussion and final summary. The main aim of the thesis was to find out the expectations of the mothers with children about the life in the shelter in confrontation with their real experience. The partial objectives of the thesis were to find out for what causes mothers with children come to the shelter and how their needs are met. Research questions have been identified for these objectives: For what reasons do mothers with children seek for help in the shelter? What are the expectations of mothers with children about living in the shelter? What is the real experience of mothers with children living in the shelter? Were the expectations of mothers with children about living in the shelter met? Empirical part of the thesis was processed by the method of qualitative research using semi-structured interview with opened questions. For data evaluation the method of open coding was used. The research group consisted of six women - mothers with children living in the shelter in the South Bohemian Region. Given the sensitivity of the topic the identification data of women and the shelter were not mentioned in this thesis. The research pointed out the issue of (in)availability of housing for single mothers with children in the unfavorable social situation. The most common reason for loss of housing is the break-up of the partnership, the dismissal of housing and lack of funds. The research also revealed that the main expectation of all interviewed women is to provide accommodation and stay with their children. This thesis helped to find out which services the clients seek the most and whether their needs are fulfilled.

The work shows the results from the investigation of processes of teachinglearning in the school for younger children maintained by Douglas Andreani Association, in the Monte Cristo-Oziel-Gleba B Community in Campinas (São Paulo, Brazil). Those educational processes joints school content (concepts, skills, values and affections), sociocultural and institutional motives and practices. The research takes place during the year 2012 in the settings with children (4-5 years), teachers, pedagogic coordinators, managers, and other employees of the institution, within the Community. This area of poor people is a favela in the classification of IBGE, with more than 35,000 inhabitants. This qualitative research is a case study in the form of a pedagogic-didactic intervention (interactivedialectic) based on the cultural-historical approach developed by Lev S. Vygotsky, Alexander R. Luria and Alexei N. Leontiev (activity theory) and contributors. Mariane Hedegaard and Seth Chaiklin have expanded this approach with the so-called radical-local teaching and learning theory from the basis of the human developmental teaching built by Vasily V. Davydov. The data analysis included the study of the social situation, learning and development of young schoolchildren through the research of the wholeness social situation proposed by Mariane Hedegaard and Marilyn Fleer. The experiences of daily life of the participants within the research provide the interpretations and analysis. The study has shown the relevance of the participant knowledge from their experiences in their social situations, in the teaching and learning actions, in articulation with the school knowledge, for the students to form daily and scientific (school) concepts. Thus, the personal and social subjectivities are constituents of the construction of new psychological formations by the students as a condition for human development and of personality (F. González Rey), in the inseparable unit of the emotional, affective, cognitive, aesthetic and moral aspects of psiche. The research also indicated didactic-pedagogic pathways in the area of teacher education, educational planning and qualitative research procedures, especially when developed in specific settings of the school and the classroom. This work aims to contribute to the teaching and learning research debate within the problem area of the public/private and the so-called third sector in contemporary Brazilian Education. It also intends to contribute to the field of social pedagogy tangentially developed with school pedagogy. / A pesquisa vincula-se à problemática das relações entre desigualdade social e desigualdade educativa abordando, especificamente, a complexa questão da busca de qualidade no ensinoaprendizagem, no sentido do desenvolvimento humano com autonomia e real emancipação visando a melhoria da vida, em instituições escolares da Educação Infantil para crianças em idade pré-escolar na condição social de pobreza (classificação do IBGE-BRASIL). São apresentados resultados de investigação de processos de ensino-aprendizagem na Escola Infantil mantida pela Associação Douglas Andreani, na Comunidade Monte Cristo-Parque Oziel-Gleba B, em Campinas (Estado de São Paulo, Brasil), onde se articulam conteúdos escolares (conceitos, habilidades, valores, afetos), motivos e práticas socioculturais e institucionais. A análise dos dados incluiu o estudo da situação social, da aprendizagem e do desenvolvimento de crianças mediante pesquisa da totalidade da situação social proposta por Mariane Hedegaard e Marilyn Fleer, a partir do que foram realizadas análises e interpretações das vivências dos participantes. O estudo mostrou a relevância em ações de ensinoaprendizagem, do conhecimento que os participantes da pesquisa trazem do seu cotidiano, articulado ao conhecimento escolar, para a formação de conceitos cotidianos e científicos (escolares). Desse modo, as subjetividades pessoal e social são abordadas como constituintes da construção de novas formações psicológicas pelos alunos, como condição para o desenvolvimento humano e da personalidade (F. Ce travail de recherche s’appuie sur l’analyse ex post de la conception d’un dispositif de formation. Il est destiné à des conseillers agricoles, confrontés aux bouleversements de leur métier. Les exigences de l’agriculture performante économiquement et écologiquement, modifient l’exercice du métier de conseil agricole. Les pratiques de conseil sont perturbées par la mobilisation de l’agronomie pour inciter à réduire les intrants. Il s’agit de se doter d’un cadre théorique qui permette d’analyser les situations de conseil de conseillers, conjointement avec une méthode pour accompagner la réflexion, dans l’interaction conseillers/formateur. La didactique professionnelle et la sociologie de l’action sont convoquées pour appréhender la situation sociale de développement et la situation de formation comme moyen de la formation. Dans les dialectiques connaissances pour l’action, connaissances théoriques, le cadre de l’expérimentation a permis de saisir la faisabilité du conseil, l’accès aux possibles de l’activité de conseil, la coordination des actants pour construire l’action. Il en résulte, un dispositif didactique et coordonné qui garantit un cadre de travail construisant chemin faisant ce que les protagonistes cherchent à faire ensemble, une approche qui ouvre la voie à l’appréhension du social par la didactique professionnelle, l’émergence du métier. / This research work is based on the ex post analysis of the design of a training approach. It is targeted at agricultural advisors facing major changes in their job. The requirements induced by an economically and environmentally performing agriculture modify the job of advisor. The established practices of counselling are disrupted by the agronomy’s engagement to encourage the reduction of inputs. The objective is to design a theoretical frame, allowing to analyze the advisors’ counselling situations, supported by a methodology to back up the reflection and with interactions advisors / trainers. Professional didactic and sociology of action are summoned to appreciate the social situation of development and the training situation as means of training. In the relationships between knowledge for action, theoretical knowledge, the experimentation framework allowed to seize the feasibility of counselling, the access to the potential of the counselling activity and the coordination of the stakeholders to build the action. This leads to a coordinated learning approach with a framework creating along the way what the protagonists are seeking to do together; an approach opening the path to understanding the social component by professional learning; the job emergence.

Sociální situace obyvatel sociálně vyloučené lokality v Náchodě / Social Situation in Selected Social Precluded Locality of Náchod

Socially excluded localities are found all over the Czech Republic. They are whole neighbourhoods, houses or streets, usually situated on the outskirts of towns, threatened by a symbolic, territorial, cultural, economic and social exclusion. The inhabitants of the socially excluded localities usually have debts with the town, which is the reason why they were moved to this locality. Problems that frequently occur in the socially excluded localities include insufficient education, high unemployment rate, financial problems and a high occurrence of socially pathological phenomena. Drawing on the facts obtained, it is possible to recommend social services that missing here at present. At the same time, the results of this thesis may serve to social workers as a detailed survey of the social situation of the locality in question.

Specifika sociální práce v podmínkách azylových domů / Specifies of social work in conditions of homeless hostels

Homeless hostels started being established on the territory of the Czech Republic in the beginning of 1990. At present they are institutions of social services providing persons in unfavourable social situation related with loss of dwelling with accommodation services of social prevention for transition period. The goal of the thesis was to characterize the homeless hostel for men as an institution helping homeless persons with social integration from the point of view of professional staff and to explain life fates and experiences of selected users. The work is conceived as quality research focused primarily on the issues of social work. In order to meet the aim, the following methods and techniques of data collection were used: interview with help of instruction, narrative interview, study of documents and observation. Rules of service provision, internal rules of the institution, social worker activities, course of service and its planning are specified in more detail on the base of the data from interviews with professional staff and their subsequent analysis. The work focuses also on the offer of activities with stress on possibilities of work rehabilitation of the users and compares the individual facilities according to specified criteria. Life experiences of selected users before they stay in the homeless hostel are described together with their expectancies and future plans. Two hypotheses were formulated on the base of the research.

Community planning of social services is not the current topic in the society. The diploma thesis goal is to realize a study review of community planning of social services in the Czech Republic and to describe the actual social situation in Praha-Suchdol municipal district according to community plan creation methodology. First part describes social services system and its legislation in the Czech Republic. Community planning of social services correlates with community and community social work. So I pay attention to them in the second part of the thesis. The community planning of social services can be described with respect to different views. I focused on such themes that are connected with a process of identifying the needs. This thesis analyses the actual social situation in Praha-Suchdol municipal district by secondary data and finally the thesis analyses results of the survey created for the thesis purpose of Praha-Suchdol citizen's opinions and needs.
