O Grupo Sinagro tem comercializado sementes de soja para seus clientes, tendo como concorrentes empresas sementeiras e distribuidores na região em que atua. Desse modo, tem ocorrido interesse em conhecer a preferência em meio aos produtores de alguns fatores, que levam o agricultor a considerar na hora da escolha das sementes. Alguns fatores importantes como – qualidade das sementes, prazo de pagamento, tratamento industrial de sementes, além de outros fatores, e que se combinam no alcance da satisfação dos consumidores do segmento visado, neste caso, do sojicultor cliente da empresa Sinagro. Neste sentido procurou-se identificar os fatores de maior percepção por parte dos clientes no agronegócio de sementes de soja, valorizar o que considera na decisão de compra do produto, levantar detalhes técnicos e comportamentais de relevância e criar ações e estratégias de marketing à empresa Grupo Sinagro em face ao que foi proposto. O estudo permitiu caracterizar que: 1 - O agricultor considera um fator decisivo no momento de adquirir sua semente a sua qualidade, o prazo de pagamento, a assistência técnica oferecida e a possível fidelidade de oferta; 2 - A empresa Sinagro possui sua fortaleza na comercialização das sementes através da adoção de um sistema de prazo de pagamento, manutenção da fidelidade, respeito ao ambiente e do processo troca-troca; e 3 - A empresa Sinagro pode melhorar sua atuação junto ao agricultor com melhorias nos dias de campo, embalagem e na entrega da semente. / This research develops an understanding of the factors that the farmer takes into consideration to choose the supplier of soybeans seeds , and provides the company to design strategies to segment the target market, with the main objective to outperform the competition and the customer demands. The Sinagro Group has commercialized soybean seeds for their clients, with the competing seed companies and distributors in the region where it operates. Therefore, there has been interest in knowing the preference among the farmers of some factors that lead them to consider when choosing seeds. Some important factors like - the seed quality, the payment deadline, industrial seed treatment, and other factors, in which combines in achieving consumer satisfaction targeted, in this case, the client company Sinagro soybean producer. In this sense, we tried to identify the factors of greatest perception by customers of soybean seeds, in relation to values which considers the decision to purchase the product, raise technical and behavioral details of relevance and creates marketing strategies of company Sinagro Group in relation to what was proposed. The study allowed us to characterize that: 1: The farmer considers a deciding factor when purchasing their seed its quality, the payment deadline, provided technical assistance and fidelity; 2 - The company Sinagro has its stronghold in the marketing of seed through the adoption of a payment system, respect for the environment and the bartering process; and 3 - The company Sinagro can improve its performance by improving farmer field days, packing and seed delivery .

Isolation and Characterization of D-Myo-Inositol-3-Phosphate Synthase Gene Family Members in Soybean

The objective of this research was to isolate genes encoding isoforms of the enzyme D-myo-inositol 3-phosphate synthase (MIPS, E.C. 5.5.1.4) from soybean and to characterize their expression, especially with respect to their involvement in phytic acid biosynthesis. A MIPS-homologous cDNA, designated GmMIPS1, was isolated via PCR using total RNA from developing seeds. Southern blot analysis and examination of MIPS-homologous soybean EST sequences suggested that GmMIPS1 is part of a multigene family of at least four similar members. The sequences of promoter and genomic regions of GmMIPS1 and GmMIPS2 revealed a high degree of sequence conservation. Northern and western blot analyses showed that MIPS transcript and protein are abundantly expressed early in seed development. Immunolocalization of MIPS protein in developing seeds confirmed expression of MIPS early in seed development and correlated MIPS protein accumulation in soybean seed tissue with tissues in which phytic acid is known to accumulate. The promoter region of GmMIPS1 was isolated and analyzed for possible seed-specificity using promoter:GUS fusions. Two GmMIPS1 promoter fragments were capable of conferring GUS expression when bombarded directly into developing soybean seeds. However, preliminary bombardment experiments into soybean cell suspension culture indicated that both promoter fragments drove expression of GUS in undifferentiated tissue, indicating a potential lack of seed-specificity. / Master of Science

In recent years, these producers of soy seeds never pass for faced challenges since the beginning of the organization of the producing system. This work used two methods of research, being the first a searches bibliographical, where they had been gotten given secondary referring to the production and commercialization of seeds of soy next to SEAB/PR (Secretariat of the Agriculture and the Supplying of the Paraná). Later the field research was used, where the collected data had been gotten of a questionnaire applied to the producers of soy seed associates the APASEM (Association of the Producers of Seeds and Changes of Paraná). In the presented bibliographical revision, it was looked to stand out, in first place, the importance of the soy seeds sector inside of the national agribusiness, detaching that this sector is to the base of diffusion of new technologies. Another objective of the theoretical recital is to detach the advantages of the professional management as basic tool to get success in an extremely competitive market. To the end an analysis of the gotten data is made, where suggestions of implantation of quality programs, control of production cost, strategies in the market and planning of the production are presented as solution to face the evidenced problems and the main conclusions of the work. / O presente trabalho é um estudo de caso sobre a situação atual dos produtores de sementes de soja do Paraná, onde procurasse evidenciar os principais problemas enfrentados atualmente pelos produtores de sementes de soja do estado do Paraná e se faz uma análise da atual nível de gestão destras empresas. Nos últimos anos, estes produtores de sementes de soja passam por desafios nunca enfrentados desde o início da organização do sistema produtor. Este trabalho utilizou dois métodos de pesquisa, sendo a primeira a pesquisa bibliográfica, onde foram obtidos dados secundários referentes à produção e comercialização de sementes de soja junto a SEAB/PR (Secretaria da Agricultura e do Abastecimento do Paraná). Depois foi utilizada a pesquisa de campo, onde os dados coletados foram obtidos de um questionário aplicado aos produtores de semente de soja associados a APASEM (Associação Paranaense dos Produtores de Sementes e Mudas). Na revisão bibliográfica apresentada, procurou-se ressaltar, em primeiro lugar, a importância do setor sementeiro dentro do agronegócio nacional, destacando que este setor é à base de difusão de novas tecnologias. Outro objetivo da fundamentação teórica é destacar as vantagens da gestão profissional como ferramenta fundamental para o sucesso em um mercado extremamente competitivo. Ao final é feita uma análise dos dados obtidos, onde são apresentadas sugestões de implantação de programas de qualidade, controle de custo de produção, estratégias no mercado e planejamento da produção como solução para enfrentar os problemas evidenciados e as principais conclusões do trabalho.

Etude du déterminisme génétique des différences de teneurs et de profils en isoflavones dans la graine de soja (Glycine max L. Merrill) / Genetic determinism of isoflavones content and composition in hypocotyls and cotyledons of the soybean seed (Glycine max L. Merrill)

La graine de soja contient de grandes quantités d'isoflavones (génistéine, daidzéine et glycitéine). En raison de leurs propriétés phytoestrogéniques, ces composés peuvent avoir des effets bénéfiques sur la santé humaine, mais ils peuvent aussi être perçus comme perturbateurs endocriniens, en particulier dans les laits pour nourrissons. La teneur et la composition en isoflavones de la graine diffèrent selon la fraction considérée. Les cotylédons contiennent de la génistéine et de la daidzéine, tandis que les germes, avec une teneur quatre à dix fois supérieure, contiennent majoritairement de la daidzéine et de la glycitéine. Le génotype influence fortement la teneur en isoflavones totales. Le déterminisme du pourcentage des isoflavones est essentiellement génétique. Ce travail porte sur l'étude du déterminisme génétique à l'origine des variations de teneurs et de compositions en isoflavones dans les germes et les cotylédons de la graine, en tenant compte également du net décalage de l'accumulation entre ces deux compartiments, au cours du développement de la graine. Dans un premier temps, les gènes des isoflavone synthases (IFS) de variétés très différenciées pour leurs teneurs et profils d'isoflavones ont été séquencés, puis les expressions des gènes clefs de la biosynthèse (neuf chalcone synthases (CHS), une chalcone réductase (CHR), quatre chalcone isomérases (CHI) et les deux isoflavone synthases (IFS) ont été suivies par RT-PCR quantitative dans les cotylédons et dans les germes, à trois stades critiques du développement de la graine (25, 40 et 60 jours après floraison). La seconde partie de ce travail a été consacrée à l'étude de l'expression de différents gènes candidats de la flavonoïde 6-hydroxylase (F6H) catalysant la première étape de la synthèse de la glycitéine. Le polymorphisme des séquences génomiques IFS1 et IFS2 des isoflavone synthases n'a pas montré de lien avec les différences de teneurs en isoflavones entre les variétés. L'activité transcriptionnelle des gènes de biosynthèse des isoflavones souligne l'existence d'une régulation bien distincte de cette synthèse dans ces deux compartiments. Les taux d'expression des gènes cibles ne sont pas toujours reliés avec les différences de teneurs ou de profils dans les germes et les cotylédons, suggérant ainsi l'effet prépondérant des régulations post-traductionnelles, notamment dans la formation du complexe multienzymatique de biosynthèse de ces composés. Nous avons aussi mis en évidence une forte expression du gène CHS9 codant pour la chalcone synthase 9, avec un profil correspondant plus à l'accumulation des isoflavones dans le germe que dans les cotylédons. Les gènes CHS7 et CHS8 codant pour les chalcone synthases 7 et 8, déjà signalés comme fortement corrélés à la synthèse des isoflavones, sont plus liés à l'accumulation dans les cotylédons que dans les germes. Ces travaux montrent aussi que le gène F6H signalé dans la littérature ne s'exprime pas dans les germes. En revanche, deux candidats dont la séquence est similaire à 79% ont été étudiés. Le gène F6H3 est le seul à s'exprimer dans la graine, uniquement dans le germe. Son expression n'a pas été détectée dans les germes d'une lignée mutante qui ne produit pas de glycitéine. Ce gène est donc un candidat potentiel clef pour la synthèse de la glycitéine dans le germe. La structure particulière de l'enzyme correspondante pourrait indiquer une forte implication de l'architecture du complexe enzymatique et des contraintes qui en découlent dans l'utilisation préférentielle d'une voie ou d'une autre dans ce schéma de biosynthèse. / The soybean seed contains large amounts of isoflavones (genistein, daidzein, and glycitein). Owing to their phytoestrogenic properties, these compounds can have beneficial effects on human health, but they can also be considered as endocrine disruptors, for example in infant formulas. The isoflavone content and composition in the seed depend on the considered fraction. The cotyledons contain only genistein and daidzein, while the hypocotyls are four to ten times more concentrated and contain three isoflavones, mostly daidzein and glycitein. The genotype has a strong influence on total isoflavone content, and even more on the percentage of individual isoflavones in cotyledons and hypocotyls. The objective of this work is to investigate the genetic determinism that underlies such contrasted contents and compositions between the two seed fractions, and the relation between main biosynthetic steps and genotypic differences. First, the genes of isoflavone synthases (IFS) were sequenced in varieties with highly contrasted content and composition. The expression of different keys genes of the biosynthesis (nine chalcone synthases (CHS), a chalcone reductase (CHR), four chalcone isomerases (CHI) and the two isoflavone synthases (IFS) have then been followed by quantitative RT - PCR in the cotyledons and hypocotyls, at three critical stages of seed development (25, 40 and 60 days after flowering). Second, the expression of different candidate genes for the flavonoid 6-hydroxylase (F6H) which catalyzes the first step in the synthesis of the glycitein has been investigated. The polymorphism of the genomic sequences IFS1 and IFS2 of isoflavone synthases was not correlated with differences in isoflavone contents. The transcriptional activity of key genes of the biosynthesis of isoflavones pointed out the existence of a distinct regulation of isoflavone biosynthesis between the two seed fractions. The expression levels of target genes were not always related to differences in isoflavone content or compositions in the hypocotyls and cotyledons. This suggests the overriding effect of post-translational regulation, especially in the formation of multienzyme complex of biosynthesis of these compounds. The chalcone synthase gene CHS9 was highly expressed, with a profile similar to the accumulation of isoflavones in hypocotyls. The chalcone synthase genes CHS7 and CHS8 expressions, already reported as highly correlated to the biosynthesis of isoflavones were more related to accumulation in the cotyledons than in hypocotyls. This work has also shown that the F6H gene, reported in the literature was not expressed in the hypocotyls. However, two candidates with as highly similar coding sequence (79%) have been studied. The F6H3 gene is the only one expressed in the seed, more precisely in the hypocotyls but it was not expressed in the cotyledons. Moreover, it was not expressed in a mutant line which did not accumulate glycitein. This gene is therefore a key potential candidate for the synthesis of the glycitein in hypocotyls. The particular structure of the corresponding enzyme may indicate a strong involvement of the architecture of the multienzyme complex of isoflavones biosynthesis and the constraints arising in the preferential use of a track or another in this scheme of biosynthesis.

Seguindo o que propõe os princípios da Administração Estratégica, utilizou-se três metodologias de análise: o modelo de Porter, a análise SWOT (em Inglês) ou FOFA e a análise da concorrência. O modelo de Porter identifica cinco forças no ambiente de uma organização que influenciam a concorrência (Rivalidade entre concorrentes, Ameaças de novos entrantes, Poder de barganha dos fornecedores, Ameaças de produtos substitutos e Poder de barganha dos Clientes) e a análise FOFA que considera a influência dos ambientes interno e externo sobre a competitividade da empresa. No ambiente interno foram analisados os pontos fortes e fracos. Já no ambiente externo procurou-se identificar as oportunidades e ameaças. A análise da concorrência foi feita com os principais concorrentes diretos da empresa. Os resultados obtidos servirão de suporte para a realização do Planejamento Estratégico de Marketing. / The strategic planning, continues being important in the organizations. The base of the Strategic Planning is the strategic diagnosis. The objective of the present study was to accomplish the strategic diagnosis of marketing in a seed company, with focus in the competitiveness. It was used three analysis methodologies: the model of Porter, the analysis SWOT and the analysis of the competition. The model of Porter identifies five forces in the environment of an organization that its influence by competition (Rivality among competitors, Threats of new incomings, Suppliers bargain, Substitutes products , Customers treats and power) and the SWOT analysis that considers the internals and external influences about the company competitiveness. In the internal atmosphere the strong and weak points were analyzed. The analysis of the competition was made with the direct competitive principal of the company. The obtained results will serve as support for the accomplishment of the Marketing Strategic Planning.

The theoretical fundaments about the theme suggest a defined conceptual option. It shows the marketing composed by four basic elements product, price, place and advertising which are combined in order to achieve the customer satisfaction in the aimed segment, that is the Coopavel s (COOPAVEL in Cascavel, PR) soybean farmer with a planted area equal or less than 350 ha. The project objective was to identify the variables which are more evident to the soybean seed customer, giving dimensions to the major points of decision in the product purchase process, highlighting relevant technical and behavioral details and creating marketing-mix actions and strategies for COOPAVEL according to the project proposition. The case study gives an interesting opportunity to gather information allied with a market oriented entrepreneurial strategy. Procura-se identificar as variáveis de maior percepção por parte dosclientes no agronegócio de sementes de soja, valorizar o que consideram na decisão de compra do produto, levantar detalhes técnicos e comportamentais de relevância e criar ações e estratégias do marketing-mix para a empresa Coopavel em face ao que foi proposto. O estudo de caso representa uma interessante oportunidade de coleta de informações com uma estratégia empresarial orientada pelo mercado.
