Certaines theories au dela du Modele Standard (extra dimensions, theories de grande unification) predisent l'existence de particules massives pouvant se desintegrer en une paire d'electrons. La selection des evenements recherches est presentee et etudiee. La strategie d'analyse est introduite et testee. Enfin, l'analyse des premieres donnees a 7 TeV est decrite et les resultats sont commentes.

EMC problematik och el-kvalitet i elkraftnät

The dissertation deals with an account of actual problem, which can arise within EMC and power quality. The cause of power interruption and what can be done to minimise the power interruption is discussed. It also includes a definition of planning levels and which factors one needs to have control over to carry out a possible planning strategy and how the local distributions net could be more secure. The electrical net could be secure but no system can be free from interruption. The dissertation examines two distribution transformers: GLA40T1 (Glansås) and T399 in Tranås Energy which don’t have regulators. It applies a planning level for voltage variation in the voltage of second level with +/-5 % of nominal voltage. The purpose is to reduce the consequence of high voltage variation and to keep the costs at an acceptable level. The research also makes even clear the similarity between results of the theoretical calculations and results of the practical measurements taken from Tranås Energy. The examination shows that the supposed planning level is fulfilled. / Examensarbetet behandlar de faktiska problem som kan uppstå inom EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) och el-kvalité, orsaken till elavbrott diskuteras och vad som kan göras för att minimera avbrotten. Arbetet innehåller också en definition av planeringsnivåer och vilka faktorer man behöver ha kontroll över för att genomföra ett eventuellt planeringsutrymme, och hur lokala distributionsnät kan bli säkrare. Näten kan bli säkrare men inget system kan bli avbrottsfritt. I examensarbetet undersöks två fördelningstransformatorer: GLA40T1(Glansås) och T399 i Tranås energi. With the development of Internet, there are more and more applications around us are connected tightly with it. Security of network is important. This thesis will follow OSI 7-layers architecture, which defined by ISO, to propose several hardware improvement approaches of network security. In data-link layer, we improve performance of CRC calculation with parallel CRC calculation, such that a 32-bit data can be finished using CRC calculation in one cycle. In network layer and transport layer, bit-oriented instruction set has good performance for processing packet header. In application, we implement DES and AES algorithm in hardware. We integrate all hardware module with ARM7TDMI coprocessor¡¦s interface. Finally, we download integrated circuit into Xilinx XCV2000E chip to observe its demo to verify it.

The investigation of how compensation system equity affects employee attitude

Abstract For many years now, the base to Taiwan¡¦s economic development has been from the medium and little-sized business enterprises, but with the restrictions of domestic economic development, the rising costs of labor, and the intense competition of the international environment, many proprietors believe that for these enterprises to weather through another winter is in itself a difficult task, how would they have the time for discussions of the improvement and development of human resources? Previous academic research and models were all designed for large business enterprises, but are these models fit for those medium and small-sized enterprises? At present, local studies are short of this type case study information and research, therefore, this paper targets medium and small-business enterprises that have been through job evaluation for research in hopes to find a successful human resource management and development model for medium and small-sized business enterprises from successful relevant case studies. Ethan M. Rasiel(1999) said, ¡§No matter what you do, you will always have the chance that there will always be some other person in some other place that has done similar things as you have: learn from other people¡¦s success and lessons, cherish your precious time, don¡¦t try to reinvent tires. The main purpose of this research is to discuss the effect that compensation system design has on cognitive compensation equity and the effect cognitive compensation equity has on employee attitude. The survey method is used for research, with retrieval of 223 effective surveys. Results after analysis of the data are stated below: 1. The effect compensation system design has on cognitive compensation equity is more notable with two factors: ¡¥compensation adjustment plan¡¦ and ¡¥the degree of compensation understanding¡¦. The ¡¥performance standard factor¡¦ has almost no effect on distributional equity; this is an issue that is worth looking into. 2. The effect cognitive compensation equity has on employee attitude, among which ¡¥distribution equity¡¦ has notable effects with compensation satisfaction. Moreover, procedural equity has notable effect on moral commitment, emotional commitment and work commitment; what more to be noticed is that only external equity and compensation openness has notable effect on prolonged commitment. This explains why medium and small-sized business enterprises cannot retain employees. So is this the fate of medium and small-sized business enterprises or is it the ignorance towards compensation design? 3. This research sampled middle and small-sized companies with an employee count of 200 or less. Although there is not a great number of case studies companies, but the results are still impressive, especially the distinct improvement of employee attitude. From this research, it is shown that the cadre members of middle and small-sized business enterprises are younger, have higher academic background, have abundant source of information, like open communication and interaction, have their own opinions on how to set the human resource management system, and expect themselves to become professional managers.

Optimization of a RF Single Ion Paul Trap for a 88Sr+ Ion Optical Clock Comparison

As part of the ongoing world-wide effort in improving time and frequency references, a high accuracy optical frequency standard was developed using the electric quadrupole allowed clock transition at 445 THz (674 nm) in a trapped and laser cooled 88Sr+ion. An ion trap system of the endcap design has been recently evaluated with a fractional frequency uncertainty which surpasses the accuracy of the current realization of the SI second. This thesis seeks to further evaluate the limiting systematic shifts of the device by optimizing a second ion trap reference based on a rf Paul trap design, which was then compared with the endcap trap reference frequency. The comparison of the two ion traps' reference frequencies confirmed an overall offset of -0.36 pm 0.08 Hz at the 445 THz reference frequency corresponding to a fractional frequency offset of 8 x 10^-16.

Innovationen in der Berufsschullehrraus- und -weiterbildung sind wichtige und anspruchsvolle Vorhaben. Durch eine verbesserte Qualifizierung der Lehrenden an berufsbildenden Schulen sollen die Jugendlichen in ihrer Berufsausbildung verlässlicher befähigt werden, fachliche, soziale und andere Kompetenzen für die Arbeitswelt und auch andere gesellschaftliche Bereich zu erwerben und wirkungsvoll anzuwenden (vgl. Ursula, Seite 5). Im Kontext der Diskussion um Standards für die Lehrerausbildung spielen Standards für das erziehungswissenschaftliche Studium eine besonders wichtige Rolle, weil dieses in besonderer Weise an Kompetenzen für den späteren Lehrerberuf ausgerichtet sein soll. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden die folgenden Ausführungen zu Fragen der Standards für das erziehungswissenschaftliche Studium angestellt (vgl. Tulodziecki 2006, S. 51). Als die Vocational Teacher Training Division (VTTD), Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos im Verlauf des Akademisierens der technischen Lehrerausbildung 2004 den Auftrag erhielt, das Studium des beruflichen Lehrer für die Berufsschulen als 1. Phase der Berufsschullehrerausbildung mit Bachelor-Abschluss durchzuführen, stieß diese neue universitäre Aufgabe auf manche Widerstände. Denn mussten kurzfristig Studienpläne entworfen sowie Stundenpläne koordiniert und organisiert werden. Die VTTD wurde am 23. März 2004 als Vocational Teacher Training Unit (VTTU) vom Ministry of Education (MoE) genehmigt. Herr Vixay VANKHAM leitete damals die VTTU, stellte insgesamt vier Angestellte ein und gründete am 10. Februar 2005 die Vocational Teacher Training Division. Im Laufe des Entwicklung der VTTD hat Dr. Rolf GENNRICH, Direktor of Lao-German Programme on Human Resource Development for Market Ecomony (HRDME), diesen Prozess unterstützt. Als Experte der Berufs- und beruflichen Lehrerausbildung trug Prof. Dr. Hanno HORTSCH maßgeblich zur Entwicklung des Framework, des Modells und des Konzepts der beruflichen Lehrerausbildung in Laos bei und besuchte das Land im März 2001, im Januar 2003, im May 2005 und im März 2007. Als lokaler Experte ist Herr Bounseng KHAMMOUNTY, jetziger Head of Vocational Teacher Training Division zuständig. Die VTTD wird zukünftig zu einem Vocational Teacher Department (VTD) weiterentwickelt. Anstatt Dr. Rolf GENNRICH wird Herr Peter POZORSKI (GTZ) die Entwicklung weiter unterstützen und (siehe Kapitel 2), den Prozess der Stabilisierung der Berufsschullehrerausbildung nach der Untersuchung der „Standards für berufliche Lehrkräfte in Laos P.D.R- Gestaltungsansätze für die Anpassung der beruflichen Lehreraus- und –weiterbildung“ begleiten. Generell sollten bei den theoretischen Überlegungen und den praktischen Maßnahmen die Komplexität der Lehrerausbildung insgesamt, die vorhandenen wechselseitigen Abhängigkeiten und die Notwendigkeiten zu Kooperation und Koordination bei den beteiligten Institutionen beachtet werden.
