The supercapacitor is a perspective electrical component reaching very large capacity. Currently is beeing worked on improving its parameters. These parameters are needed to test. Charging and discharging of the supercapacitor is theoretically fully reversible process. However, real supercapacitor accompanies ageing of the electrolyte and electrodes, lead to reduction of the capacity. The aim of this work is to design a device that expose supercapacitor to accelerated ageing, which will facilitate the assessment of ageing commercial and laboratory made supercapacitors.

Implementace točivých redukcí v teplárenské praxi / Implementation of micro turbines at thermal power stations

The thesis is devoted to the utilisation of expansion turbines in the thermal power stations and in the industry companies using gas pressure reduction for technology purposes. The theoretic part of this thesis deals with the technology equipment such as steam and gas turbines, generators and reduction stations. The special attention is given to the expansion turbines with regard to its dividing in two groups: for steam reduction and for gas reduction. The parctical part includes the preliminary and detailed calculation of the expansion turbin for parameters of reduction line for combustion turbines, the generator proposal and the possibility of power extraction. The economic part completes the thesis with the economic evaluation of investment efficiency.

The aim of this Master’s thesis is the design and reconstruction of the high voltage distribution network for the company E. ON with focus on calculation of the stabilized operation and on the planning of new cable taps from the transformer substation Moravany u Brna. The first part of the theoretical analysis of the work deals with the inclusion of the distribution network into the power system and with principles of development and construction of high voltage networks. The second part includes a general calculation of stabilized operation of the power distribution network and a familiarization with the program PAS Off - Line Bison 4.0. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the calculation of the stabilized operation at the current state of transformer substation Moravany u Brna using the PAS Off - Line Bizon 4.0 V programme. This part also contains the design of six new cable lines which are needed to strengthen the power distribution in the southern part of the city Brno. The closing part of this chapter constitutes of a outdoor and indoor cable line renovation. These cables are connected to the transformer substation Moravany u Brna and a calculation of stabilized operation is also included in this part.

The master’s thesis is focused on the theoretical and practical issues of optical access networks. The first chapter of the thesis deals with the concept of the access networks known as FTTx. The second and third chapters focus on the principles and standardization of the active optical network AON P2P and the passive optical network TDM PON. The fourth chapter of the thesis focuses on the network WDM PON, wavelength multiplexes, solution concept and the LG-Ericsson EA 1100 platform. The fifth chapter of the thesis deals with the infrastructure of the optical paths for optical access networks. The sixth chapter of the thesis presents custom design of the headend for reception, processing and distribution of television broadcasting. Two custom access network solutions (AON P2P and WDM PON) for the town Bystřice nad Pernštejnem are presented in the seventh chapter. Case studies include the design of the optical paths infrastructure, central office infrastructure, end-user infrastructure, CAPEX/OPEX economic analysis and basic simulation in OptSim.

The public fuel filling station will be built directly within the area of the existing car repair service located in the village of Jemnice, in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou. The theoretical part generally describes the business activity, possible forms of business and individual analyses used in this diploma thesis. The second part briefly describes the chosen company, for which the above mentioned draft of the businnes plan is intended. The last part of the diploma thesis presents the actual construction plan of the public fuel filling station based on the elaborated analyses, including the time schedule of the execution.

The first variant is proposed keeping railway line through Vyškov railway station including necessary modification of the railway station. The second variant suggests keeping track outside Vyškov and a connection with the railway station by bridging is designed.

The reconstruction design includes an adjustment of the station head and the geometrical layout of the track for an increase of the track speed to the highest possible value. The design also contains a renewal of the railway superstructure and the structure of the sleeper subsoil, new drainage and platforms. The designed layout ensures a safe access for people with reduced mobility.
