Symbolika hrobů se zbraněmi na konci eneolitu a na začátku starší doby bronzové na území Čech / Symbolism of graves with weapons at the end of the Aeneolithic and at the beginning of the Early Bronze Age in the territory of Bohemia

Petriščáková, Katarína January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this study is to describe the changes at the end of the Aeneolithic period and at the beginning of the Bronze Age, on the basis of the analysis of graves with weapons and the possibilities (limits) of identifying the warrior graves in Bohemia. The end of the Aeneolithic is characterized by two cultural complexes, the Corded Ware Culture and the Bell Beaker Culture, on which the Early Bronze civilization evolved, characterized by the Únětice Culture in our context. It is in this transitional period, that graves with specific goods appear increasingly, and we can finally call these as true weapons. Weapons are associated with warfare attributes that, according to the latest theories, played an active role in prehistoric society. The identification of the warfare in archaeological sources is, however, often not without problems. Several types of evidence can be consulted: graves of warriors with specialized weapons, typical fortifications (ramparts), remains of battlefields, iconographic and written sources. In our conditions, the focus is on graves with weapons, due to the lack of other mentioned entities. Keywords: Late Aeneolithic, Early Bronze Age, graves, weapons, tools, symbols

Bočková, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
The current trend of demographic aging can be alleviated by extending the working activity of older workers and seniors. In this thesis the attention is focused on the relationship between the employment of older people and setting of the pension scheme, since both affect the behaviour of older workers and seniors. The aim of this thesis was to find out the level of employment support of older workers and seniors, and to describe not only the view of seniors, who continue with work after their claim on old-aged pension but also attitudes of the potential employers on this group of workers. Secondary data analysis with emphasis on foreign experience and qualitative interviews supplemented by quantitative research were used as research methods. The research has shown that the pension system does not motivate older people to delay retirement, the level of education in old age is undersized and the awareness of current trends and opportunities in the field of seniors employment is missing.

Wagner, Štěpán January 2020 (has links)
Title: Using the FMS method for injury prevention in older school-age athletes Objectives: The objective of this diploma thesis is to show new methods and approaches used nowadays for preventing injuries in athletics. In order to fulfil the objective, it was necessary to gather as much information as possible about the characteristics of older school-age children, the issue of injuries at this age, in general and in athletics specifically. Understanding the connections, two methods were then selected and described in detail which focus on preventing injury and which are used in athletics as well as other sports. One of these methods is the ComplexCore+ method which was invented and described by Austrian physical therapist and coach Roman Jahoda. This method is widely used in athletics and its main focus is the local and global stabilization of the body. In this thesis, however, I have more focused more on describing and analysing the principles and options for using the Functional Movement Screening (FMS) method. FMS is founded in physical therapy and was created by American physical therapist and coach Gray Cook. The purpose of the method is to identify and assess the quality of basic movement patterns through 7 mobility tests. In order to fulfil the objective of the thesis, two FMS tests were...
