The subject of diploma thesis is to project a technical solution of wooden-based house. Project documentation, is created by AutoCAD and SEMA software includes construction details. Solution of design and building system leading to sustainable development. Total cost calculation is included for investment decision making. Part of this work is to calculate the energy performance certificates in accordance with Decree 78/2013 Coll., energy performance of building, which is used to verify the correctness of the projected design of the building.

The thesis discusses the proposed renewal timbered buildings located in the village Huslenky in Beskydy. The work contains all the currently available information on the previous use of the building's construction and historical development. It was created basic design documentation and construction was carried out technical survey (hereafter STP) to determine all possible structural failure or attack decaying insects and fungi. The results are shown using STP sketches, tables and possibly supplemented with photographs. Subsequently procedures are specified redevelopment of the building. The work also contains proposals variant recovery log houses. Option Cabins use as a family chat for occasional recreation is elaborated in detail, according to the wishes of the owners.

Thesis Settlement, Building, Garden and Landscape deals with wider relationships between these aspects and its goal was to investigate the moments of these relationships creating the environment for life. The topic of this text is a description, definition and analysis of the context and relation between landscape and garden. The reason and focus of the analysis is to find, define and evaluate the substance and to emphasize its importance, with respect to the landscape enhancement aspect of garden. Before the dissertation definitions were formulated, the areas were learned about, a survey was made, data about places collected, movement in the areas depending on the nature of their use was performed. The next stage was the perception, thinking over the evaluation of the given examples based on personal judgments and theses, from subjective point of view but with well-founded experience, study of the issue and sensitivity. For the assessment and conclusions of the results, several questions were determined common to all topics of the dissertation. The questions were linked among the individual topics of the settlement, buildings and gardens. The relationship between them and the landscape was the foundation. What is the place for a settlement, building and a garden? How are they functionally connected with the landscape? How are they located in the landscape? How are they seated in their environment, how are they inspired by it and how do they affect it? How do they use the properties of the area? How does landscape with its aspects enter the settlement, building and garden? What are the boundaries and character of the garden with reference to countryside? The basic principle and conclusion of this study is that the garden, located in the landscape, or in context with it, should get inspired by the specific qualities of the place where it is located.

The horse evolution started with Hyracotherium, which was a small animal inhabiting forests of the Eocene. Since then, it evolved into more or less successful forms in which the conditions of the surroundings of its occurrence were reflected. When it comes to the initial usage of horses, they were used as a source of meat. Later, in the period before 4,600 years ago, evidence of the domestication of these animals emerged. Due to the improved system of breeding, horse as a draught animal and a mean of transport gradually became riding horse, which contributed not only in spreading human population, but also in influencing history of many civilizations. Nowadays, horse is represented through a number of breeds, which are used in equestrian sport, work with cattle, horse races, in forestry labours, or as a good companion. In addition, horse gained its irreplaceable role in the service of the Mounted Police of Czech Republic where it is daily deployed in diverse actions; for example in city and peripheral guarding, in searching for missing persons or in restoration of disturbed public peace. The most useful breed for these purposes is Czech Warmblood, where the most preferred geldings are in brown or chestnut color. High demands are placed on physiological characteristics; however, the most important criterion is the excellent character of this breed. Quality of these characteristics consists in the length of duty and in the reasons for their release from duty. Some of the most frequent reasons for the release from duty health problems and age. The release due to age is associated with strong and resistant horses. Regarding the lineage of the police horses on duty, the best evaluated were the descendants of stallions 1154 Quick Lauro Z, Mykonos and 1028 Manillon Rouge. However, there is a correlation between these descendants and their number on active duty. After categorization of all traced stallions into relevant lineages, the lineage 1100 Przedswit became the most numerous lineages (7 stallions). Nevertheless, this lineage is not positively evaluated because of its descendants, which did not perform well on duty. Another numerous lineages were 5500 Pythagoras, 4700 Amour du Bois, Orange Peel xx-Almé Z, 67 Dark Ronald or 4800 Ladykiller XX. The central purchase system of duty horses should help to unify these horses as well as to prolong the length of duty, via universally established criteria. Results demonstrate the unification of typological characteristics of these horses. However, the average withers height of measured horses fails to meet the requirements. Regarding the length of duty, the results were not conclusive; therefore, the hypothesis was confirmed just partially.

Cílem diplomové práce je definování a zhodnocení možných směrů rozvoje obce Zabrušany s posouzením proveditelnosti a možného financování. Na rozvoj obce bude nahlíženo jak pohledem vedení obce, tak pohledem občanů. Budou analyzovány rozvojové aktivity jak z hlediska zařazení do strategického rozvojového dokumentu obce, tak aktivity mimo něj, potřebné pro zabezpečení řádného chodu obce (infrastruktura, bezpečnost, kultura atd.) Výstupem diplomové práce bude návrh pětiletého plánu rozvoje jednotlivých oblastí obecních zájmů, který bude zpracován realisticky vůči finančním možnostem dané obce a nabízeným možnostem dotačních mechanismů.
