This engineering thesis deals with quantification of the value of a development land built buildings that are destined to be demolished. This thesis outlines the aspects of demolition procedures with subsequent usage of the building rubble for recyclation. The goal of this thesis is to illustrate issues of demolitions of bulindings situated on a development land and of determinativ of the total price of such land.

The aim of the thesis called Some specifics of communication in civil engineering has been to carry out research in construction companies and to find out to what extent they pay attention to corporate image in various respects – if (and eventually how) they make use of the Internet and how they present themselves to the public. On the other hand, part of the research focused on what emphasis do these companies put on internal communication with their employees. To prove or displace the initial hypotheses, several analyses have been made and research in 14 companies of different size carried out. The results have shown that construction companies pay attention to internal communication, however, they do not place much emphasis on presenting themselves to public. This way they underestimate the importance of positive corporate image, particularly in the media of the Internet.

This work deals with the possibility of use of intelligent methods in construction machines control. These methods are based on GPS in combination with using laser and ultrasonic technology. There is in detail described especially control by robotic total station and 3D control, which includes digital model of construction site. The new trends of control are especially applied on the vibratory rollers. There are taken into consideration: achievement of sufficient degree of compaction on the basis of on-line information about conditions of subsoil.

This diploma thesis is focused on the management of a construction order in a construction company. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the process of preparation and implementation of a construction order and the processing of production preparation documentation. The theoretical part of this work describes the basic concepts related to construction and project management. The following practical part already deals with supplier preparation and also safety and health protection at work for the selected order. This diploma thesis deals with determining the real profitability of construction companies. The subject of the research are selected construction companies from the city of Brno, which are analyzed in the time horizon of 7 years from 2013 to 2019. The theoretical part describes the historical development of the construction market, then describes a specific of construction company, defines fundamental concepts of financial analysis and resources to decide processing. In the practical part, the established methodologies of the calculated values of the real profitability of selected construction companies are used and the resulting data are subsequently compared with the profitability determined by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

This diploma thesis deals with teamwork and corporate culture in construction. The objective of the thesis is at first to theoretically define the topic of teamwork and corporate culture in construction. The theoretical part provides a coherent view of the issue. The practical part presents the results of quantitative and qualitative research. Data were collected through the questionnaires and structured interviews with employees of construction companies. Parts of the thesis are partial conclusions and recommendations for improvement. The result of the diploma thesis is methodological manual for small and medium construction companies. This manual could attract new employees and customers to the companies.

Binding Opinions as an Instrument of the Environmental Protection Abstract The thesis deals with binding opinions issued in the field of environment. Its primary objective is to evaluate whether binding opinions fulfil the role of an effective and appropriate instrument of environmental protection in the context of the adopted reform of public building law. In addition to an unnumbered introduction and conclusion, it is divided into four parts. The first part deals with binding opinions from the perspective of general administrative law and their enshrinement in the Administrative Procedure Code. In particular, it focuses on their general definition, the process of issuing and the issues of review in both administrative proceedings and administrative court proceedings. The second part provides a basic definition of the respective authorities, with an emphasis on the regulation of the status of the respective authorities in the field of the environment.
