This thesis is focused on the concept of Corporate social responsibility in the construction industry. The work provides an overview of the current state of the CSR concept in the construction industry. There is mentioned the knowledge of the concept, the reasons for the most frequent introduction and also the perception of the benefits of this concept by the construction companies. The part of the thesis is also an analysis of the pillars of the concept of CSR and individual activities. A substantial part of the work is based on quantitative research on the construction industry and on its analysis. The quantitative research is conducted through a questionnaire survey. A participant in the research could be any construction company operating in the Czech Republic. In addition to the properties of the construction sector in terms of CSR, the project proposes recommendations for improvement CSR in a typical construction company.

The master’s thesis describes the problematics of construction budget errors. Based on the research and the survey among investors, designers and contractors, methodology changes are designed for a specific company in order to decrease its impact on stakeholders’ expenses, construction time and quality of the building.

Definition construction company, enterprise, construction enterprise, management and manager. The practical part is based on four research questions, which were subsequently confirmed or refuted. At the end of the diploma thesis are draw the conclusions and recommendation for construction company.

This thesis deals with the construction survey and diagnostics of the New synagogue in Velké Meziříčí. The aim of the work is to perform an inspection, construction survey of the building and evaluation of its current condition using classical survey and diagnostic methods. The work is processed as the final report from the construction and technical survey of the building. It contains its course and results. The main part of the survey is brick masonry, its failures and structural assesment. The thesis includes also survey of foundation structures, the history and description of the building.

The subject of the thesis "Rationalization of Construction price statistics" is to outline the issue of reporting of construction activities in the Czech Republic and try to be as simple as possible for statistical purposes, if possible. From a theoretical approach for construction work price indices and their stats go over to the practical part calculation of indices. Available data from the Czech Statistical Office on price indices of building work in recent years converted in terms of weights of permanent representatives from the perspective of individual statements. The goal is, to find a satisfying combination of representatives of both methodological procedures and exclude them from the forms for reporting. This should be saved in time statistical survey of individual respondents and abridged interpretation of outputs of the Czech Statistical Office.

This paper deals with Latin inscriptions from Egypt and Nubia apart from Alexandria and its closest surrounds. The analysis of the whole set of inscriptions is followed by synthesis of its results and comprehensive description of latin epigraphic tradition in Egypt. The graffiti are also put in the broader context of the history of Roman Egypt, Roman military presence in this province, places where these inscriptions occur most often, but also other circumstances. The thesis aims to understand the development of cement market in Cisleithanien and Czechoslovakia and its cartelization. The subject of research is the organization of cement cartels and it's role as a structure which influences the functionality of the market, related industries and national economic policy (tarrifs, export and import restrictions and state's contracts). The thesis focuses on the abilities of the cement cartels how they control the market and affect customers. The thesis is limited by the year 1900, when the first cement cartels emerged, and the years 1938-1939, during which the significant economical and legal change occurred. The aim of diploma thesis titled The Building Act and the protection of archeological heritage is the introduction of preservation of archeological sites related to contemporary building boom. Sources of law devoted to this topic are primarily the Building Act which regulates town and country planning as the instrument of preventive protection of archeological heritage and secondly the Preservation of Monuments Act that enshrines rights and duties of builders concerning to their activities due to the protection of archeological sites.
