The topic of my dissertation is "Organization and management of production in selected enterprise". The main goal of this dissertation is mapping of selected enterprise in one year period and obtain sufficient amount of information for future analysis and suggest possible improvements. The identification data, characteristic, products and services and production planning of selected enterprise are provided in introduction of practical part of this dissertation. Analysis of present state with mapping of present state for individually semi-finished products is introduced in the next part of dissertation. For analysis of present state was calculated VA index and for each semi-finished product was created diagram of material movement in next chapter. The goal of analyses and diagram is the finding of narrow spaces in the material flow. The target map of future state was created in the next part. This map is based on present map. The future map presents critical factors that need to be improved. Finally it defines a new VA index, which should be approach to the current state. The penultimate section includes recommendations methods and elements of lean production to the new production hall which the company wants to build. Among the recommended methods are mainly the 5S method, visualization, standardization, SMED and Bottleneck. The last chapter contains a number of measures. For example employee motivation, continuous improvement, personal responsibility, introduction of EDI and ergonomics which would lead to the improvement of the business this enterprise.

The dissertation thesis focuses on the topic of construction of new questionnaire, which is developed from four already existing questionnaires of activities of daily living. This new questionnaire summarizes strengths of those four and submits only those activities, which are affected at the early stage of Alzheimer's dementia. The topic is introduced in the broad context of social sciences, medical science and also submits the practical issues, considering effects of Alzheimer's disease to life of patient and his closest ones. New questionnaire, which is the result of empirical research, is based on correlation analysis of three commonly used screening cognitive tests and four questionnaires which evaluate activities of daily life, which are, used as best practice in the Counseling Center for Memory Disorders Clinic of Neurology of Faculty Hospital Kralovske Vinohrady in Prague. The research sample consists of patiens, who are affected with Alzheimer's disease already. That means, that the new questionnaire can be used as a tool for those, who are the patient's closest ones for purpose of screening and reviewing abilities of daily living over time. The topic of the thesis is {\clqq} The examination of state of health of citizens for the purposes of social welfare benefits.{\crqq} Medical statement sevice ensures this activity, which has a wide medical, social, employment and economic importance. On 1st January 2006 the first instance medical statement service was divided into the insurance and non-insurance system. OSSZ and ČSSZ continues providing examinations for the insurance systems while the examination for the non-insurance system is carried out by physicians of the newly created examination services of employment agencies. The paper aims at analysing the so far experience of the medical statement service after the division into the insurance and non-insurance system. I presume that the division of the medical statement service and its transformation have been effective. I have dealt with the medical statement system in the most wide context. In the theoretical part I have concentrated on historical development of the medical statement service, on its system and the scope of activity of the medical statement service and I did not omit the examination of state of health of citizens for the purposes of the social welfare systems. In the practical part I concentrated on physicians carrying out medical statements for employment agencies and district administrations of social welfare, on their feelings, opinions on the reorganization of the medical statement service in 2006. The research was carried out in Central Bohemia region with the view to evaluate the division of the medical statement service in the insurance and non-insurance system. A quantitave attitude was chosen for this research usingt the questionnaire method. Two types of questionnaires were handed out: for physicians of the medical statement service of employment agencies and for physicians of medical statement service of district administration of social welfare system. In total there were 40 questionnaires handed out to the physicians of medical statement service of district administration of social welfare system and 25 to the physicians of the medical statement service of employment agencies. 34 (100%) questionnaires were used filled by the employment agencies physicians and 16 (100%) questionnaires filled by the physicians of the district administration of social welfare system. I chose the graph form to process the research part of the paper. The principal hypothesis was confirmed. For both the physicians of the medical statement service of employment agencies and physicians of medical statement service of district administration of social welfare system was proved that the division of the medical statement service into the insurance and non-insurance system was effective. Further activities within the organization of the medical statement service should endeavour to depict small discrepancies and to ensure a continuous improvement of the system.

People can differ in their attitudes toward apalic syndrome patients. Health care staff, however, would always be professional. They deal with a human being, a person who can sense. This fact should form a framework for both health care professionals and patients´ families. Especially nurses should be very sensitive, calm and good-tempered so that they could take adequate care of apalic patients. The empiric part of the thesis was elaborated through qualitative and quantitative research survey. The qualitative method, an interview, was used in the first phase of the survey. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the family members of apalic patients and the nurses of health care facilities. Although the interviews for the family members and the nurses differed in some parts, they contained common identification questions and specific information. The interviews were anonymous and consisted of 16 questions for the family members and 10 questions for the nurses.

Diploma thesis deal with the issue revitalization of water stream. Assessment and design of revitalization is done for watercourse Osoblaha, situated in the cadastral territory Osoblaha nad Studnice by Osoblaha. In diploma thesis were designed several of revitalization measures such as stone backfill, willow fence, groyne, casting willow cuttings to supplement the vegetation on river‘s banks, fish shelter and wirestone baskets (gabions). In the given section was designed pool and also was there designed boulder slip, which will replace present downflow step. After designing was made hydrotechnical calculations to demostrate preservation runoff conditions of present stream condition.

The aim of this thesis was to provide manager of a particular e-shop a practical overview of the current state of strategic and operational management and to suggest possible solutions to discovered imperfections. Within the analysis of the current state following assessments has been accomplished: evaluations of company's vision, related goals, design and implementation of the strategy, organizational structure and set of procedures in the company, analysis of jobs activities and full time equivalent analysis. In addition, key business processes of the community e-shop have been mapped with employees and costs were assigned to their various activities, thereby to obtain quantification of the average cost per order. Steps were designed to optimise key processes to improve e-shop's operational efficiency.

This master’s thesis introduces a slide bearing analysis using the MBS software tool of FEV Virtual Engine, including real surface topography based on 3D roughness measurements. The first half of the thesis gives a brief overview about gasoline combustion engines, slide bearing usage in engines, slide bearing construction and about essential approaches for the characterization of elasto-hydrodynamic behavior. In the second half, the process of model building, rough surface measurement and preparation of analyses are described. At the end of this thesis, the results of the analyses are shown and discussed.

Thesis is aimed at the possibility of utilization of extreme learning machines and echo state networks for time series forecasting with possibility of utilizing GPU acceleration. Such predictions are part of nearly everyone’s daily lives through utilization in weather forecasting, prediction of regular and stock market, power consumption predictions and many more. Thesis is meant to familiarize reader firstly with theoretical basis of extreme learning machines and echo state networks, taking advantage of randomly generating majority of neural networks parameters and avoiding iterative processes. Secondly thesis demonstrates use of programing tools, such as ND4J and CUDA toolkit, to create very own programs. Finally, prediction capability and convenience of GPU acceleration is tested.

The thesis is concerned with the design of a flood protection for the Brantice municipality, a part of which is an adjustment of the Opava river stream bed, specifically kilometer 77,6554 to 78,7020 and, moreover, a design of a reconstruction of the weir at kilometer 78,340. A capacity assessment of the original stream bed in the built-up area and its surroundings is a part of the thesis, as well as a measure to increase the stream capacity and a design of a boulder chute with a water gate, which replaced the original weir. The program HEC-RAS 4.1.0. was used for the stream capacity calculations.

The aim of this master thesis is to introduce a new technique for the design of cellular automata which will provide a better possibilities for the implementation and solving given problems in an environment of non-uniform automata. In this work, the theoretical foundations of cellular automata have been summarized and the possibilities of their design were examined using two evolutionary principles that have commonly been used - genetic algorithm and cellular programming. Two principally different issues were selected on which the possibilities and capabilities of these techniques were proven: the synchronization problem and the system of implementation of logic gates in an environment of cellular automata. Based on a review of the implementation properties and the initial results of usage of these methods a new design method for cellular automata was created - cellular evolution. The cellular evolution with its method of "prediction of the future state of surrounding cells" provides new possibilities in the design of cellular automata since it operates with structured genes which allow the gene to be active for a variety of cellular surroundings. In the conclusion of this work, all three methods were compared on two selected problems and their abilities were summarized in a detailed overview.
