Sula Toni Morrisonové: Individualita jako hybný prvek ve vývoji společnosti / Toni Morrison's Sula: Individuality as the Driving Element in the Development of the Society

Mazourková, Tereza January 2012 (has links)
This thesis proceeds from the Toni Morrison's novel Sula and it mainly concentrates on a mutual relationship between an individual and society as reflected in the book. It consists of two main parts. The first one describes some aspects of the African-American history; the second one focuses on the individual characters in Sula and analyzes the Bottom society, charted against principles of US society in general. Individuality as the basic point of this thesis is shown as the moving element in the development of the society that also gives the direction of that development. Relationship between an individual and society is considered dialectic - on one hand, particular individuals participate in the development of the society, destroy stereotypes and violate dogmas; on the other hand, these people are often subdued and limited for the sake of the proper functioning of the society. Primary basis of this work is an assumption of the necessity of individual driving elements in the society for its (social) ceaseless development and subjectivism as the basic point of view on human existence. Key words: human being, gender, race, society, subjectivism, womanism.

GEYEROVÁ, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on Virginia Woolf's conception of time in relation to the narrative techniques the author uses in her novels. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the conception of time characteristic of Woolf's prose but also to point out how closely related this conception of time is to the narrative techniques used by the author. To capture the development of Woolf's conception of time and narrative methods, the novels are analysed chronologically according to their dates of publication. Significant part of this thesis is also devoted to the philosophical, scientific and historical context in which the novels were written because the author's treatment of time and narrative techniques are directly inspired by philosophical and-scientific theories and socio-historical changes at the turn of the 20th century.

Relativita známkování na 1. st. ZŠ / Relativity of Grading at Primary School

Švarcová, Kateřina January 2017 (has links)
The thesis is concerned with the relativity of marking at primary school, aimed to subjectivity in evaluation when rating the pupils' work in the Czech language. The theory is focused on evaluation generally - its functions, types, forms. In the theoretical part there is mentioned, what types of assessment are believed to be the first- quality ones. Two chapters are devoted to objectiveness and fairness in the evaluating, too. This thesis contains several paragraphs about the embedment of evaluation in the law. The target of the research was to find out, if the teachers interpret the pupil's performance differently and what criteria are taken into consideration. I want to alert to the huge amount of subjectivity when rating with marks. The teachers were given the same simulated piece of a pupil's work. Their task was to correct it and to mention what was an influence on their evaluation, the given mark. The half-structured dialogue was the chosen method for the research. The thesis confirmed the hypothesis that the evaluation through the marks is burdened with a high measure of subjectivity. That is to say, that the teachers marked the work very differently and their evaluation was grounded on various criteria. KEYWORDS evaluation, marking, subjectivity, teachers, criteria, difficulty

Zpověď jako technika subjektivace v politickém myšlení Michela Foucaulta / Confession as a Technique of Subjectification in the Political Thought of Michel Foucault

Doležal, Kryštof January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is focused on interpreting constitutive components of Michel Foucault's political thought (power, knowledge, subjectivity) from the viewpoint of the subjectification. The first goal of this work is to pursue the technique of confession as a crucial mechanism that participates on constructing the subjectivity in Foucault's work. To uncover in which connections it is usually pursued and what forms according to Foucault did it gain during history depending on various configurations of bonds between power and knowledge. The work's second goal is to substantiate a technique of confession defined by Foucault in contemporary human sciences, specifically in the foundations of the processes of data collection and then to demonstrate confession as a necessary element for creating an empirical type of knowledge.

Nakládání s majetkem státu / Legal aspects of state property management

Štancl, Michal January 2019 (has links)
Název disertační práce v anglickém jazyce, abstrakt v anglickém jazyce a tři klíčová slova v anglickém jazyce Title: Legal aspects of state property management Abstract: When acting in the field of private law, State has the quality of a legal entity. However, State is a legal entity of its own kind. It has an immanent double nature and consequently it doesn't cease to stand on the border of private and public law. The principle of legality doesn't apply to State as a private law actor, which means that it can do even what is not explicitly permitted by the law. On the other hand, State cannot fully exploit autonomy of its will because its legal actions are rigorously predestined by the rules setting clear limits to it. Those limits in form of restrictive dispositions are addressed directly to organizational units of the state and state organizations and their purpose is to ensure efficient and economical management of state property as it is in the public interest. This dissertation aims to analyse the individual elements of property relations of the State. The most important subject in those relations is State itself. Nevertheless State cannot be regarded as one compact and confluent unity. On the contrary, its internal structure is crucial. The effects of internal structure of the State on the property...

Prostor, kde budeme společně sami / Space where we will be alone together

Jiříčková, Adéla January 2019 (has links)
Passing and meeting or looking for a shared space where we could be together or where we could be alone together. Is it possible, for a short moment at least, to step into the other one's world? Finding yourself along with finding the other one. Will we be able to recognize the boundary, once we cross it? This work should focus on a) exploring the space, b) exploring the space within us, and c) on a conflict, touch, on two spaces getting closer and getting further away (both on a physical and psychological level) - private space and public space, whose boundaries are blurring nowadays. These topics are applied on art as well (particularly on the works of performance art) and accounted for the outcomes in its own creative work. KEYWORDS Subjectivity, intersubjectivity, space, body, solitude, tension

Motiv individuality ve Fenomenologii ducha G.W.F. Hegela / Individuality in Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit

Hanovská, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
Lenka Hanovská, Motiv individuality ve Fenomenologii ducha G. W. F. Hegela. Praha 2010. Abstract The work focus on the notion of individuality in Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit. It's aim is to understand the question: "what does it mean to be individual being?" from the point of view of traditional thinker who is considered to stand on the top of traditional philosophical thinking. In the work I interpret the most important passages of Phenomenology. I point out that to the individuality we can look only as on a single example of subjectivity. Every specific quality and determination of individuality come from outside, individuality is determinated by the common reason and the society where she lives. Individuality in Hegel doesn't mean some sort of special beeing, concrete life (which search modern philosophy of 20th century) but it means only occurence of something "eternal", the consciousness.
