The thesis is focused on application of logistics in the company, BAEST, a.s. It consists of theoretic part, introduction of the company and description of the process of the product producing. Application part of the thesis is closely focused on two fields. The first one is system of evaluation and selection of suppliers containing the design of new system in this field. The second one is addressed to analysis of material flow connected with production of tanks with the goal of optimization of the flow.

This work describes methods and the process of model creation using fuzzy logic. The aim is to establish two decision models, a model created in MS Excel and a model created in MATLAB which simplify the selection of the supplier.
