Proyecto Raymi / Raymi Project

Solari Monzón, Sergio Renato, Adriazola Dupont, Allison, Romero Portilla, Rodrigo Frank, Grisales Díaz, Daniel, Valdivia Vassallo, Fiorella Luciana 25 February 2020 (has links)
In the present investigation, the viability of the creation of a “RAYMI” web platform was confirmed in which all natural persons and companies would have at their disposal all kinds of suppliers for different kinds of events. After the creation of the website we divide it into the following categories: Structures, Fun, Audiovisual, Music, Marriages and Catering. In this way, its use and search of the different suppliers is facilitated to all our consumers of metropolitan Lima, urban sector, directed to all the districts of socioeconomic level A and B. Likewise, it was possible to verify in the project that people count with an uncertainty when having to look for a supplier, since in most cases they require a mix of a good price, good quality and reliability of the service. Most of our consumers usually look for referrals from suppliers with their acquaintances in order to make sure that no inconvenience occurs in the service, this usually takes them longer than expected since in some cases they have a limited time between the search and date of the event. For the analysis of the project, the research and development of the following points was carried out: Initial Foundations, Validation of the Business Model, Development of the Business Plan, Operations Plan, Human Resources Plan, Marketing Plan, Corporate Social Responsibility Plan, Financial Plan and the Financing Plan. Thus, after the development of all the points mentioned above, an initial investment of S / 46,698 is required. / Trabajo de investigación

Zurückhaltende Internationalisierung originär ostdeutscher Automobilzulieferer: Erklärungen und Empfehlungen

Erler, Felix 18 February 2015 (has links)

THE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BID PROCESS: AN EXAMINATION OF PROPOSAL RESPONSE AND BIDDING DECISIONS

Winters, Matthew January 2021 (has links)
This research is intended to examine transportation suppliers coming up short due to participation in and response to bidding procedures. A mixed-methods approach is utilized to investigate the bid process and related outcomes for the transportation supplier. This study explores the bid process from the perspective of the transportation supplier. The first study is based on a quantitative approach, utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process methodology (AHP). The second study uses qualitative methodology, specifically utilizing semi-structured interview protocol. For the quantitative analysis, key factors related to the bidding process were studied, as the basis of the review. These factors were found through a systematic review of the literature, and are internal and external in nature. The results are that, of the factors studied, the Firm Related Internal Factor of Need for Work and Tender Related External Factor of Type of Bid are of the greatest significance when determining to bid. Key themes emerge from the semi-structured interviews, leading to the Assertation of Bid Submission Assessment, including a systematic review of relationships, current market conditions, and risk appraisal for the transportation supplier. This research explores economic, relational and strategic impacts on supplier performance aligned with the bid process, and how supply chain companies can build effective bid responses to enable practitioners to improve stability and financial performance, while avoiding supply chain disruptions. To better understand proposal response will aid the transportation supplier with restoring profitability levels lost, due to the bidding process (buyer to transportation supplier). / Business Administration/Strategic Management

Sustainability in supply chain management practices in least developed countries: A case of SMEs in Zambian mining sector

Manchisi, Roy January 2018 (has links)
The focus of this study is to explore the sustainability practices of SME suppliers as influenced by the stakeholders in the mining SC in Zambia. The study aims to provide the policymakers and senior managers of focal firms by developing a detailed framework that helps in examining the SME environment with regard to sustainability practices and formulate measures to increase their sustainability performance to decision making. This qualitative research used 50 semi-structured interviews in addressing the research objective. Interviews undertaking with cross section of stakeholders and using content analysis, the findings revealed that SMEs engage in sustainable practices when working with mining firms but disengage when working with non-mining firms. The findings further revealed the mechanisms employed by SC members in extending sustainability practices to direct and indirect suppliers (mainly informal SMEs) from focal firms. In so doing, the findings highlighted the role of first-tier suppliers as a bridge between the focal firms and sub-suppliers in disseminating sustainability practices. Besides revealing the drivers and barriers to sustainability, the research revealed the mechanisms for mitigating the barriers in order to increase the volume of SME suppliers adopting sustainable practices. This research has several contributions to both academia and practice. The main contribution to academia is a stakeholder framework, which provides a systematic mechanism of examining the sustainability phenomenon. Thus, presenting a theoretical approach for analysing and understanding sustainability practices of SMEs in a developing country context. The main contribution to practice is the production of tools that support practitioners to analyse and better comprehend the relationships in the SMEs sector and by identifying the key stakeholders that support the SMEs. / Copperbelt University

Anderson, Pia January 2019 (has links)
The purpose of this essay was to lay the foundations for a model in the form of a question battery that can help buyers compare the sustainability responsibilities of different suppliers, so that the buyer can choose the supplier that contributes most to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The model is designed as a question battery to enable the buyer to ask more comprehensive questions to the various suppliers regarding social, ecological and economic sustainability than they do today.   In order to find questions on an overall ethical level I have investigated how the global institutions intend us to navigate and prioritize between the SDGs, I have also applied the Aristotelian and Kantian ethics and Archie Carrol's model, the CSR pyramid, to broaden the ethical perspective in the questions to the companies.   The result is a question battery with questions about the company's vision and global goals, about the company's values linked to all stakeholders, questions about whether the internal good and the external good are in harmony with society, questions about the company's value chain and business model and a larger stakeholder analysis.   How should a buyer then be able to evaluate a supplier's different answers? This essay aimed to create the first questionnaire with a broad question battery, the next step is to evaluate the different answers.

The VAT implications of e-commerce goods and services imported to South Africa / Elani Fryer

Fryer, Elani January 2014 (has links)
This research identified that e-commerce is growing annually and has a significant impact on the South African economy. When the Minister of Finance announced that VAT registration would become compulsory for foreign suppliers importing e-commerce transactions into South Africa, there were many speculations regarding the implication this will have for South Africa. The main objectives for the research are to determine whether the current VAT structure and VAT Act in South Africa will be able to support the proposal made by the Minister of Finance and what possible challenges should be considered regarding VAT on e-commerce transactions that were already identified by other countries. It will further be considered whether the proposal is in line with current international legislation and trends. Therefore, the development and implementation of VAT on e-commerce transactions in the European Union and New Zealand were researched and discussed to obtain an understanding of the similar current VAT systems in other parts of the world. It was identified during the research that there are still challenges experienced with the implementation of VAT on e-commerce transactions. The challenges range from the anonymity of the parties to the identification of the permanent establishment of the supplier, which are discussed in detail. These challenges can lead to tax evasion and the erosion of a country’s revenue base. The proposal by the Minister of Finance is found to be in line with other countries’ implementation of VAT on e-commerce transactions. Furthermore, South Africa’s current VAT system was analysed to ascertain whether it is sufficient to implement VAT on e-commerce transactions. Currently, SARS is dependent on the consumer’s honesty to declare the VAT on all e-commerce transactions. It was further identified that there are challenges relating to the implementation of VAT on ecommerce transactions as it is lacking place of supply rules, which often creates uncertainty about whether a product is subject to VAT. It was found in the study that the current VAT system would not be sufficient to support the proposal made by the Minister of Finance without an amendment to the VAT system to secure the income from the consumption tax on e-commerce transactions. It was further found that there are worldwide still challenges experienced with the implementation of VAT on e-commerce transactions. Recommendations were made for further research relating to the new Tax Bill that is due to be released in 2014 and the impact it will have on the South African economy. / MCom (South African and International Taxation), North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2014

Determinanty produkce a prodeje v automobilovém > průmyslu: případová studie ŠKODA AUTO / Determinants of Production and Sales in Automotive Industry: Evidence from ŠKODA AUTO

Sezemský, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
Automobiles can be today considered as cultural icons which indicate the level of develop- ment of a particular state. This thesis provides analysis of automotive industry in general from the point of view of globalization, linkages, value chains and macroeconomic envi- ronment. We will stress crucial challenges that face global original equipment manufac- turers, depict situations on most important emerging markets and forecast development that we can expect there. In the context of these information we will develop economet- ric analysis which will widen current findings from microeconomic and macroeconomic perspective of a car manufacturer. ŠKODA AUTO represents the most important en- terprise in the Czech Republic and at the same time is a part of the biggest automobile concern in the world. We will use internal data from the company for our research and give overall recommendations. Central questions in this study are the following: What are the forecasted needs of the customers on emerging markets? How sensitive are com- panys' costs on the output? And finally, which role do the macroeconomic indicators play in delivering of automobiles to end customers? 1
