The project deals with the study of recreational facilities named Roman spa and sauna world. A new building has been associated with the proposed aquacenter "Water Temple Brno", which is by its character and by the capacity predestined to be a multifunctional main "water world" in Brno. The aim of this study is to design a wellness center that would cover the capacity requirements resulting from population density of the city of Brno, that would architectural and urban correspond with the site, and last but not least, offering a wide range of comfortable services covering the needs of potential customers. As a result, it was suggested modern wellness center, does not disturb the landscape construction sites, understated building that more than itself prefers landscape scenery around and its design slightly underscores the balance between nature and human work planted in it.

In the domain of dynamically evolving distributed systems composed of autonomous and (self-) adaptive components, the task of systematically managing the design complexity of their communication and composition is a pressing issue. This stems from the dynamic nature of such systems, where components and their bindings may appear and disappear without anticipation. As one way of addressing the challenge, [15] proposes a new component model (called DEECo), which features separation of concerns via a mechanism of dynamic implicit bindings with implicit communication. This leads to introduction of autonomous components and their dynamic interaction groups (called ensembles). The goal of the thesis is to reify the DEECo concepts and paradigms in a Java-based implementation connected to a simulation of a virtual world. As such, the thesis should provide a platform for experimentation with DEECo-based applications.

Hamplová, K.; Transformations of roles and significations of object and material in a visual game. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2014 - Charles University, Faculty of education, 99 pages In my thesis I examine the process of transformation of roles and significations of object and material in visual games. I focus on the game as the experiment with characteristics of objects. I explore using objects and materials as the instruments for opening fictional worlds. A brief outline of the theories of perception of objects and their significations and theories of games and fictional worlds illustrates the base of the theme. Various views on the alterations of significations in creative process are illustrated with a selection of works of contemporary artists. In the didactic part I examine the characteristic position of the make-believe games in the development of a child and possible applications of those characteristics in art education. I also describe the design and realization of my didactic project dealing with this issue there. The orientation of Czechoslovakian foreign policy on Africa, Asia and Latin America took various forms after the World War II. Apart from economic and military cooperation, rising numbers of university scholarships offered to students from developing countries coming to Czechoslovakia are worth our attention. This resulted, together with increasing accent on support of emerging new states, in establishing of The University of 17th November in 1961 - a new university for foreign students. Due to the University, the Czechoslovakian society was for the first time confronted with growing numbers of ethnically and culturally different people. Along with the history of educational institution, this study focuses on the mutual coexistence of foreign students and broader society and on the general reception of the school. Founding of the University was also a Czechoslovak response to a trend developing at the time in some states of the Western European as well as in the Soviet Union where The Patrice Lumumba Friendship University was opened in 1960 in Moscow. The aim of this paper is to inspect the work of Louise Erdrich with the optics of semiotics, literary theory and cultural anthropology and to find topics related to the cultural conflict of Native American and Christian tradition. The theoretical part is devoted to the theories of the ontological definition of the fictional world, its relation to culture and its construction within a literary piece. In the practical part, we will deal with the cultural features associated with nature, religion, space and social ordering, as they are illustrated in the novels. The paper is not an anthropological material dealing with Native American culture as such. Here we perform a literary analysis and examine the anthropomorphic dimension of the unique fictional world.

The aim of this thesis is to provide a close reading and a philosophical and anthropological interpretation of Burton's understanding of the concept of melancholy (as well as the concept of the human being and the world) as it is presented in his work ​The Anatomy of Melancholy​. The primary objective will be gradually to respond to the following questions: How did Burton perceive the concept of melancholy? How did he make use of it within his notion of ​the melancholic world​? Based on this, his vision of a remedy to the melancholic disease afflicting the whole world, together with the form of this treatment presented in The Anatomy of Melancholy will be thereafter shown and explained. This task will be preceded by an analysis situated on the edge between the history of ideas and intellectual history, cultural history, and philosophical anthropology with a small overlap with the history of mentalities. This analysis will firstly reveal the diversity and rich history of the concept of melancholy and, subsequently, open up the intellectual milieu and ideas which form the basis of Burton's notion of the problem of the melancholic world and its treatment. Based on the explicit Husserl-Heidegger polemic, which concerned the ''Phenomenology'' entry for Encyclopaedia Britannica, my thesis captures conflict between the two protagonists precisely when it becomes direct. Tracing the main issues of their dispute, I will firstly demonstrate that the conflict is not a consequence of mutual misunderstanding, but rather a disagreement coming from the core itself of their respective theories. It could therefore not have been avoided. Secondly, I will show that the leading intentions of both traditional versions of phenomenology are not only irreconcilable, but essentially contradictory.

This diploma thesis deals with the spiritual poetry of Rudolf Jurolek from a religionistic- theological perspective. First, it determines the context of the poet's work through the delimitation of the concept of spiritual poetry and the characteristics of its contemporary form. The thesis then contains a detailed literary-religionistic analysis of individual Jurolek's poetry collections (Dobrovoľná samota, Život je možný, Smrekový les, Poľné vety, Posunok, Putovanie Jakuba z Rána, Hierografia) with an increased interest in spiritual themes and motifs. Subsequently, based on the results of the first two steps, the thesis determines mysticism as a suitable interpretative framework for religionistic-theological research. Among the focal points of Jurolek's spiritual search, nature and poetry, the thesis reveals the connection with mysticism, both on a thematic-motivic level through the figures of particular saints (St. Francis of Assisi, St. Hildegard of Bingen, Plotinus) and through individual phases of mysticism (awakening, purification, enlightenment). The thesis also finds a connection with mysticism in the poet's way of writing which, from the point of view of philosophy, recalls the procedures of Husserl's phenomenology. This master's thesis concerns the construction and the life in the Ďáblice housing estate in Prague during the seventies and the eighties of the twentiethcentury and presents its reflection in contemporary Czechoslovakian media, namely in Rudé právo and Lidová demokracie dailies, Mladý svět magazine and relevant programs of Czechoslovakian Television. The Ďáblice housing estate was built between 1968 and 1983. To this day, it is considered to be unique for its urban composition in the Czechoslovakian context. The aim of the thesis was to present the media image of this housing estate in the normalization era between the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 and the Velvet Revolution in 1989. First, the theoretical part of the thesis describes the historical context and significant political and social events and phenomena. It also brings characterization of the contemporary media landscape with more detailed description of the researched media sources. The main aim of this dissertation is to understand the function of the text The Parables of Enoch (PE) in its ancient context. Despite the complicated and composite nature of this text, I have tried to explain the internal logic of this text, especially with an emphasis on understanding the different timelines with which the author of the text works. A critical evaluation of the limits of working with the preserved Ethiopian translations, as well as with the composite nature of the extant form of the text is the essential prerequisite for the interpretation of PE. In the exegetical part, I seek to demonstrate the main thesis that the purpose of PE is to offer a complex symbolic universe through ancient authoritative visions of the ancestor Enoch that serves to legitimize the shared social reality, which is in danger due to the difficult situation of persecution and oppression. I take the theoretical framework for this research over from the sociological constructivism. While the shared social reality is often in crisis, the symbolic universe as a complex level of legitimation intends to explain this discrepancy between the assumed social reality and the reality of the everyday experience.
