This master thesis deals with the issue of inquiry based learning in sciences at primary school level. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the development, realization and pros and cons of inquiry based learning. Additionally there is an overview of inquiry based activities in the commonly used textbooks for first level of primary schools and the list of extended literature intended to inspire the teachers to practise inquiry based learning. The practical part of the thesis is based on information gained from interviews with primary school teachers. The aim was to find out how inquiry based learning is perceived by teachers. Their opinions, advanatages and disadvantages of inquiry based learning and its practical use in education is discussed. Consequently, overlaps and influence of such education methods on the integration of pupils to a society is presented here. The thesis provides a complete overview on the issue of application of inquiry based learning to traditional education methods. This research informs readers about possible problems related to the implementation of inquiry based learning to practice. The diploma thesis attempts to present a consistent conception of matter in the philosophy of Plotinus. Its first part therefore contains a presentation of his own ideas about matter employing the interpretation of three key treatises dealing with this topic (Ennead II, 4 (12) "On the Two Kinds of Matter", Ennead III, 6 (26) "On Impassibility of Things Without Body" and Ennead I, 8 (51) "On What Are And Whence Come Evils"), the second part is dedicated to the overview and criticism of major modern interpretations of Plotinian matter. The third part then introduces my own approach, consisting of splitting Plotinus' hypostatis of soul into two hypostases, and identifying matter with the procession (i.e. proodic aspect) of the ontologically lower of the two. Arguments are offered for these nonstandard interpretive choices; the resulting conception is shown both as self-consistent as well as consistent with Plotinus' metaphysics as such, and it is demonstrated to be able to reconstruct the features that Plotinus attributes to matter.

The present thesis is dedicated to the thematic agenda of the magazine Svět sovětů (The World of Soviets) during the pre-war period (1934 - 1938) and the post-war years (1945 - 1946) as well as the image of the Soviet women that this magazine was forming. Fundamental intention of this research was to process complex set of topics of this magazine during mentioned time intervals, then capture differences (in case there were any) in the description during those periods and subsequently analyze the portion of articles that was dedicated to a Soviet woman, especially with regard to the following analysis of her image that was artificially constructed in the given magazine. The aim of this paper was to reconstruct the image of the "look" of the Soviet women and make comparison of its development during the period before World War II and subsequently after it was over. The assumption was that her portrayal depended on promotional and agitational politics of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union itself, and that this image was changing depending on the political objectives of the Communist Party and the Soviets, which varied in accordance with the historical events that were taking place. The diploma thesis called Jára Cimrman as a transmedial phenomenon - canon and participation focuses on the fictional character of Jára Cimrman from several points of view. Jára Cimrman is briefly introduced in the thesis and the founding of Jára Cimrman Theatre (Divadlo Járy Cimrmana) and the founding of Cimrman Salon (Salón Cimrman) are also described. The information about a radio programme called Vinárna U Pavouka where the name of Jára Cimrman first appeared are also involved. Identifying the canon of Cimrman presents an important element of the first part of the thesis. The following chapters focus on mystification and fictional world. The practical part of the thesis then deals particularly with fan participation and other user-generated content. The thesis briefly introduces and then uses various media and literary theories. These are especially transmediality theory, fictional worlds theory and mystification. The associated aim of this thesis is to describe composing of Cimrman's fictional world based on the canon with the help of literary theories. The canon or rather a corpus of the chosen texts is subsequently compared to the excerpts (but not only excerpts) of fan participation and produsage. The dissertation is focused on cross-cutting curriculum Man and the world of work in economic fields of education and its integration into the educational system. The theoretical part is devoted to information on the general and school education programs, cross-cutting curriculum Man and the world of work, its history and its inclusion in school curricula and teaching. The practical part is aimed to analyze the completed achievement tests and questionnaires by students of business academies and interpretation of the results with subsequent own proposals for the integration of cross-curricular curriculum Man and the world of work into the educational system in economic fields of education.

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to analyse the customer satisfaction with the loyalty program Active beauty and to propose some improvement suggestions. The theoretical part is focused on the issue of the customer care, customer satisfaction and loyalty. In the following part is described the situation in the retail market and chemist's market in the Czech Republic. Subsequently is introduced the loyalty program Active beauty and evaluated results of the research.

This thesis deals with procedural generation techniques and its use in the creation of voxel models. The techniques that have been used are Perlin Noise, Voronoi diagram, L-systems etc. This knowledge is then used to create a world generator for computer game with open world. This game provides players with the ability to modify this world and use its creativity, for example, in building construction. The game, however, will not give to the player all options for free, but for example for build, he or she will first have to find and mine the material. The game has been written in programming language C++ with the use of libraries Boost, SDL and OpenGL.

The subject of this thesis is an architectural study of Roman spa and sauna world that connects seamlessly to a specialized atelier with theme Aquacentre - "Water Temple" Brno. The project is located to the upper floors front cupola waterpark, which is composed of monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton and its building envelope brings arched laminated wood trusses. The main task was to create the interior space. The source of inspiration was the whirlpool, which is transcribed into the design of furniture.

The subject of the master´s thesis is the architectural study of Spa world at Brno dam. The Spa is designed as part of the Aqua park, which was solved in atelier´s project. The building is located close to the Brno dam in hilly terrain. The proposed Spa world offers visitors the opportunity to relax, rehabilitation and entertainment in a variety of saunas. The Aqua Park is also a restaurant, massage, fitness center, shop, indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

Architectural study offers solution space of Roman baths and sauna world in designed Aquacenter , which is located in Brno - Rakovec area. Location aqua center study is based on the Territorial studies Brněnská přehrada area. Nowadays wellness facilities are important part of water parks. The designed spaces of Roman baths and sauna world offer its visitors the use Roman baths, Finnish saunas, as well as other supporting procedures such as massages, herbal baths, massage whirlpools, etc. It is not just a place to stay the recovery or relaxation, but is included here social function as generously solved frigidarium space s and relaxing bar. Form, which is based on the design building of Aquacenter, is circular and it allows central layout solution. The central solution dispositions are reflected throughout the interior design concept. The overall layout is also trying to build on traditional content Roman bath, respect the Finnish sauna concept and both join together in a common area.
