João displayed dificulties in establishing social links, excluding whatever came from others. The goal of this work is to investigate the position of the educator in the institutional practice involving problems of organic disabilities and psychic constitution. Work was done in the sense of engaging the subject in social links, following the necessities observed throughout the practice. João guided the educator in a visit through his symbolic games, revealing that the intervention is found between treating and educating. The clarification of the boundaries and limits of these two fields is necessary in order to establish a support based to a smaller extent on the imaginary enclosure, therefore, allowing the identification of the educational goals as well as the position of the educator involved with such practice, In this way, throughout this dissertation, the fields of investigation were first defined and the intersections among them were analyzed: the relation between the organic and subjective, pedagogy and education, treating and educating. The most precarious definition of the differences bewteen treating and educating was shown to be essentially beaurocratic. The fact that a professional s work takes place at a special education institution alone does not guarantee that this work will be educational. The consideration of the question of the four discourses proposed by Jacques Lacan allowed a detachment from the beaurocratic registry to identify the educator s position in a practice situated between treating and educating / O presente trabalho parte da experiência com um jovem, portador da síndrome de Angelman, em uma instituição de educação especial. João apresentava dificuldades no estabelecimento do laço social, tomando o que vinha do outro a partir da ordem da exclusão. O objetivo desse trabalho é investigar qual a posição do educador na prática institucional com jovens com graves comprometimentos orgânicos e psíquicos. Com base no que a prática apontou como necessário, foi realizado um trabalho visando à possibilidade de o sujeito engatar no laço social. João guiou a educadora em sua visita aos jogos simbólicos, revelando que a intervenção se localiza entre o tratar e o educar. Precisar a extensão e os limites desses campos se fez necessário para se amparar menos num enquadramento imaginário, permitindo identificar tanto as finalidades educativas quanto a posição do educador implicado nessa prática. Dessa forma, ao longo da dissertação, foram delimitados campos de investigação para depois pensar sobre as suas intersecções: a relação entre o orgânico e a constituição subjetiva, pedagogia e educação, o tratar e o educar. Foi visto que a definição mais precária das diferenças entre o tratar e o educar é a burocrática. Não é o fato de o profissional trabalhar em uma instituição de educação especial o que garante uma experiência educativa. Trazer a questão dos quatro discursos proposto por Jacques Lacan permitiu o afastamento do registro burocrático para identificar desde qual posição fala o educador em uma prática que se localiza entre o tratar e o educar

Tais jogos aparecem cada vez mais entre as práticas lúdicas de adolescentes e é crescente o número de pesquisas acerca de seu uso em educação. Assim, tornase necessária uma investigação com bases psicológicas sobre o tema. Para chegar a esse posicionamento, foram relacionados aspectos contidos na dinâmica do jogo e discurso de 22 jogadores da região da Grande Vitória, analisados sob um viés psicológico. Com base nessas informações, pôde-se traçar um panorama das características da atividade, bem como o lugar que ela ocupa nas relações que esses jogadores perfazem e suas conseqüências para esses mesmos sujeitos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários e entrevistas e foram agrupados em categorias estabelecidas a posteriori. Os resultados finais caracterizam um grupo de praticantes de RPG do Estado do Espírito Santo e tornam possível a análise psicológica das particularidades detectadas. Pôde-se avaliar o lugar que a prática de jogar RPG ocupa na rotina dos participantes, bem como analisar, por meio dos dados coletados, aspectos psicológicos intrínsecos ao jogo. / Role Playing Games (RPG) had been constantly criticized or defended in many forms, several times without a scientific approach. These kind of games appear in the playful behaviors of many adolescents. With the increasing use of RPG on education and more researches been developed in the area, it makes necessary a psychological approach of the matter. To make this possible, this work relates the speech of some players with intrinsic aspects of the RPG dynamics. A view of the RPG characteristics could be done with these data, as well as a look on the relations that the subjects make with the game and its possible consequences. The data were grouped in categories after some questionnaires and interviews had been done. The final results show the way of being of a small group of players of Espirito Santo's state and allows a psychological analysis of the characteristics collected. It was possible to evaluate what is the place of RPG in the subjects routine, as well as specific characteristics of the game that are of special interests of Psychology.
