Ludvíková, Adéla January 2018 (has links)
Title: Compensatory exercise in synchronized swimming Aims: The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the effect of movement intervention on compensating the deviations in the posture related to muscle imbalance and to influence the feeling of muscular tension of the back muscles in the girls of synchronized swimming TJ Tábor. Methods: The diploma thesis is elaborated by the form of qualitative research with elements of quantitative research. The experiment was attended by eight probes with deviations in the posture. A physical intervention in the form of compensatory exercise was introduced to influence the muscular dysbalance in the fuselage region. The research was conducted from October 2016 to May 2017. The research methods consisted of the examination of aspects using a plumb line in the sagittal and frontal plane. Depending on the subjective sensation, probands marked the muscular tension of the back muscles on the modified VAS. Results: The obtained data were processed by the statistical method (relative analysis). The results showed a positive effect on the body's position in the sagittal and frontal plane. Interventions also positively influenced subjective feelings of muscle tension. Keywords: synchronized swimming, posture, compensatory exercise, muscle tension, VAS modification

Evoluce velikosti mozku u ptáků / Evolution of brain size in birds

Straková, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
Vertebrates show dramatic interspecific variation in the size of their brains. The complexity of brains is considered to be the key factor of evolutionary success in Vertebrates, and therefore an evolutionary trend towards increasing brain size and coplexity is assumed. Large and complex brains evolved independently in birds and mammals. Birds have brains that are comparable in their relative size to the brains of mammals. However, in stark contrast to mammals, there is no general trend towards increase of brain size in birds. Relatively large brains have evolved independently in many avian lineages. Highly encephalised orders are parrots (Psittaciformes), woodpeckers and relatives (Piciformes), hornbills, hoopoe and wood hoopoes (Bucerotiformes), owls (Strigiformes), storks (Ciconiiformes) and several families of songbirds (Passeriformes), mainly bowerbirds (Ptilorhynchidae) and corvids (Corvidae). Otherhighlyencephalizedgroupsarenon-parasiticcuckoos(genusCentropus,Phaenicophaeus and Coua) and family Diomeidea and genus Pelecanus belonging to the clade water birds. Less encephalized groups include the basal lineages such as paleognaths and fowl (Galloanserae), and also pigeons (Columbiformes) and swifts, treeswifts and hummingbirds (Apodiformes). We suggest that this mosaic evolution is result of...

Vyšetření posturálních funkcí u dětí staršího školního věku na vybraných školách v Českých Budějovicích a Jindřichově Hradci / Investigation postural function of children older school age at primary school in České Budědovice and Jindřichův Hradec

MARKESOVÁ, Radka January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the examination of postural functions in pupils (11-15 years old) at chosen primary schools. There were two primary schools (Baarova in České Budějovice and 2nd primary school in Jindřichův Hradec) involved in the research. Standardized test were used for finding out the quality of the body to appraise the figure according to Jaroš and Lomíček and evaluating of body holding according to Matthias, functional tests of muscles that tend to be shortened and weaken. We expected the incidence of bad body holding and muscle unbalance in 30 % of the tested people within the intentionally chosen group. The research group achieved better results in the period given.

Posouzení prostorových podmínek a pracovního místa v počítačových učebnách vybraných ZŠ v okrese Písek. / The evaluation of space conditions and work place in computer classes of selected primary schools in district Písek.

KLUIBEROVÁ, Michaela January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with space conditions and working place in a computer lab. It also de-scribes the rules of correct seating of students and their feeling of comfort related to the stay in a computer lab. Theoretical part contents information about ergonomic requirements on the arrangement of working place at the computer. The information concerns table, chair, monitor, key-board and mouse. The requirements on space conditions of a computer lab are intro-duced as well as other factors. For example floor area, height of a room, position of working place and factors such as lighting, windows, noise, microclimatic conditions and ventilation. Working with computer effects our health, for example musculoskeletal problems, visual difficulties and psychical troubles are mentioned. Also the musculoskeletal system, sitting position, posture and examples of compen-sation exercise (concerning static load) are described in this thesis. The final section of the theoretical part is focused on the school stress, its conse-quences and also the school which supports health. The aim of the thesis is to map space conditions and working place in a computer lab in Písek district and to find out students opinions on feeling of comfort while staying in a computer lab and respecting the rules of correct seating. The second part of thesis gathers the results of my research. It concerned students from 6th till 9th classat chosen primary schools in Písek district by the method of ob-serving and the results were compared with the established criteria. Also the anonymous questionnaires were used. The space conditions of computer labs, working places of students and respecting the rules of correct seating were evaluated by observing. The questionnaires were focused on the recognition of students feeling of comfort while staying in a computer lab. Established facts were statistically tested by using chi-square test. The final results of the research show that working places in computer labs at pri-mary schools are suitable for ergonomic requirements. While observing of respecting the rules of correct seating, it was acknowledged, that these rules are not followed, despite the students have adequate conditions for their work. Although in the observed computer labs there were some deficiencies concerning space conditions and other factors, the students feel comfortable while staying in a computer lab. Because static load influences the musculoskeletal system of the students itis neces-sary to apply the factors of precaution at schools, especially as for the rules of correct seating. The students should be familiar with these rules and following the rules should be regularly and consistently controlled by teachers. The deficiencies in computer labs and on the working places are necessary to re-move to create adequate surrounding and conditions for the work of students. Appropri-ately arranged working place is basic requirement for the precaution of musculoskeletal problems and it also enables easier way of how to follow the rules of correct seating. Long-lasting sitting and unsuitable working conditions influence negatively the health of the students and that is significant also for the future. Health problems can be present till adulthood. The students should be aware of the risks and they should be taught to arrange their working place properly before they start working there.

Vliv polohy těla na klidový tlak v anu a tlak při současné kontrakci svalů pánevního dna. Pilotní manometrická studie / The effect of body position on pressure in anus during relaxation and contraction of the pelvic floor muscles. Pilot manometric study

Burianová, Eliška January 2018 (has links)
This Research thesis is focused on the influence of body position on the function of pelvic floor muscles (PFM). Anatomical structures, kinesiology and neurophysiology of the PFM are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. It also discusses the methodology used for objective evaluation of the PFM. For the practical part of this thesis, 30 healthy subjects (aged 20 - 30 years, 15 male, 15 female) where chosen via a questionnaire. The subjects were examined via the method of anorectal manometry. The goal of the examination was to measure the distribution of a) resting pressure in the anal canal in selected positions, b) pressure during voluntary maximal contraction of PFM and sphincters in selected positions, c) pressure during 20 seconds of voluntary contraction. Selected positions are: lying on the back; lying on the back with legs elevated and held in "three flexion"; kneeling on all fours with palm support; kneeling on all fours with elbow support; squatting, and standing. Results: a) The resting pressure is influenced by the body position. Highest resting pressure was observed in squatting and standing positions, lowest resting pressure was measured on subjects while kneeling on all fours with elbow support. No significant difference was observed between male and female subjects in...

NOVÁKOVÁ, Zuzana January 2010 (has links)
The thesis deals with creating and verifying of a set of compensatory excercises for children of younger school-age devoted to modern gymnastics. The experiment ran with two gymnastic groups from Prachatice and Volary. Every girl underwent an examination of hyperlordosis degree and a muscle strength and stretch level. Finally, it was proved that these girls suffer from hyperlordosis indeed. Therefore a set of excercises had been created and later applied on the girl gymnasts. Five months later the second measuring was realised and proved that the experiment was a success.

Kompenzační cvičení u hráčů fotbalu / Compensatory exercises in football players

Sládková, Kateřina January 2017 (has links)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to prove, that compensatory exercise affects positively locomotor system of SK Benešov U16 football players. Theoretical part of this theses analyses all existing sources and literature from the field of compensatory exercises, muscle imbalance and body posture. Main research-method used in this thesis is an experiment. I choosed football players from the younger adolescents footballers category U16 and U17 of the team SK Benešov. Football players from group U16 are the experimental group, while the others from U17 are the controlling group. To test the locomotor system I have chosen testing methods for unstreched and weakened muscles invented by Janda, Kabelíková and Vávrová. To test the body posture I used Matthias's test. Suitable compensatory programme was created for the players, with regard to entrance testing, which they had to apply for six months. In the middle of the testing period a control testing was conducted, to help to evaluate the correctness of the chosen exercises. After the evaluation of the final testing a conclusion was drawn, that the compensatory exercises do have a positive impact on locomotive system and body posture of football players U16. KEYWORDS Balance tools, body posture, football, compensatory exercise, muscle imbalance, injuries.
