Migrace mezi Střední Asií a Ruskem. Případ Kyrgyzstánu / Mirgation between Russia and Central AsiaVilímová, Andrea January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with migration flows between Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic. The aim is to analyze migration trends after the collapse of the Soviet Union and to characterize the impact and importance of migration on society and the state of Kyrgyzstan. Another issue is the use of the theories of migration in the post-Soviet space, where they are rarely used nowadays. The analysis begins with an introduction to the formation of the USSR with regard to migration processes on the territory of present-day Kyrgyzstan. Another part is devoted to ethnic migration and the last part deals with labor migration. This thesis illustrates the interdependence of migration and changes in the economy and society in Kyrgyzstan. Based on the evaluation of the causes of migration, migration theory could be used just for explanation of labor migration. Application of specific migration theories on labour migration is a matter for further research.

Aplikace teorie voleb druhého řádu na Evropské volby v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky / Aplication of Second-order election on European elections in Visegrad statesDušátko, Jan January 2013 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Aplication of Second order election theory on European election in Visegrad states" examines a theory of second-order election and aplicates it on European elections in the Visegrad states. Since this theory was build on election results in founding states of the EU and this theory was many times proved in western Europe, the main goal is to find out whether the election results of the Visegrad states concur with the theory of second- order election or not. In that case goal of this thesis will be to find out where and why there is differences. The thesis is divided into three parts. First theoretical part deals with all theories which were tried to explain different outcomes from different types of elections. Second part introduces our hypotheses and methodology by which we examine these hypotheses. Third part analyses the results of elections from selected countries. First four chapters of the third part deal with selected countries separately. Fifth chapter compares our results from the Visegrad states among them and then it compares these results with results from the countries of EU-15.

Repertoár interpretačních rámců pomoci obětem domácího násilí / Repertoire of Interpretative Frameworks of Help for the Victims of Domestic ViolancePíbilová, Anna January 2013 (has links)
1 REPERTOIRE OF INTERPRETATIVE FRAMEWORKS OF HELP FOR THE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLANCE Abstract This thesis analyzes domestic violence theoretically and supports the hypotheses through empirical data. The Framing Theory is being widely used as a theoretical starting point and it is employed mainly to study the mobilization of social movements and organizations. A list of objectives of the theory is provided, usage of micromobilization processes is explained. This part concludes with a critique of the theory. A description of the current situation and solutions of domestic violence with a focus on the Czech Republic follows. The empirical component provides semi-structured interviews with three public sector professionals and two non-profit organizations, followed by an analysis of public statements of another non- profit organization. Both sectors perceive the current system as functional. They indicate the main problem is a lack of public awareness, including victims of domestic violence, and propose solutions to the problem. The disputes over the frames are hidden, and they are probably not realized by both of the sectors. The non-profit sector define the domestic violence more broadly and more about making change on a social level, not just individual.

Moderní dystopie a teorie totalitarismu / Modern Dystopias and Theories of TotalitarianismMachart, Filip January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis Modern Dystopias and Theories of Totalitarianism deals with comparation of this two phenomena. The thesis is based on the concept of Giovanni Sartori. He understands the phenomenon of totalitarianism as ideal ending of the axis totalitarianism- democracy. Extreme points of this axis fulfill the role of unrealizable ideal regimes. In reality we can only move closer to them but modern dystopias may represent these ideal regimes. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical section. There is the analyse of five books in the theoretical section which deal with the theory of totalitarianism. The analysis contains the work of Sigmund Neumann, Hannah Arendt, Carl J. Friedrich and Zbigniew K. Brzeziński, Giovanni Sartori and Juan J. Linz. Each theory of totalitarianism is supplemented by reflection from other authors. There is the analyse of five dystopias (J. Zamjatin - We, A. Huxley - Brave New World, G. Orwell - Nineteen Eighty-four, M. Atwood - The Handmaid`s Tale, A. Moore, D. Lloyd - V for Vendetta) in the practical section. The analysis contains the storyline of the book, elements of totalitarian regime in the dystopia and inspiration of author for the world of dystopia. There is elaborated final comparation between theories of totalitarianism and modern dystopias...

Multilateralismus v diskurzu: USA, EU a Japonsko / Discourse on multilateralism: USA, EU and JapanKolmaš, Michal January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this dissertation, titled "Multilateralism in discourse: USA, EU and Japan" is to pinpoint differences in perceptions of basic policy concepts across various intellectual traditions. The dissertation is based in the presumption that cultural, intellectual and language context are inseparable parts of our perception of reality and terms, through which we describe it. For the interpretation of these cultural differences, the thesis chose three actors with different cultural, historical and language traditions. In their respective discourses, the thesis interpreted the perception of a basic term of international relations - multilateralism. The discursive perception of multilateralism was connected to a theoretical typology of motivation for the priority for multilateralism over other forms of foreign policy behavior - instrumental, moral and social. This typology was tested against the interpretation of multilateralism on two case studies: the War on Terror and the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol. By doing so, the thesis found out that although there is a single shared definition of multilateralism, individual perceptions on the concept's value and role are significantly differing. The United States prefer instrumental logic, the European Union prefers moral logic and Japan oscillates between...

Teorie konsociační demokracie ve světle vývoje severoirského konfliktu / The Theory of Consociational Democracy and the Development of the Northern Ireland's ConflictŤakušová, Katarína January 2016 (has links)
Diploma thesis "The Theory of Consociational Democracy and the Development of the Northern Ireland's Conflict" examines the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland and also the possibility to apply this theory in this particular case. The principal objective of research is to analyze the long-standing conflict and explore the possibility to apply one of the most famous political science's theories, the author of which is Dutch political scientist A. Lijphart, currently on situation in Northern Ireland. This conflict lasting for many decades culminated in the 60s of the last century accompanied by violent and bloody clashes between opposing groups. Actors led by British government tried to solve this situation through the introduction the principle of power-sharing. This research offers an analyses of this conflict and also his changes in time, but also different actors and transformation of their attitudes, which were the reason of the movement from violent and armed conflict to the peaceful solution. This research offers not only an analyses of the conflict of itself but what more an analyses of the peace process, in which shows if the conflict resolution in Northern Ireland has had elements of consociational. One more objective of the diploma thesis is make a statement, if there is any possibility...

Matematická teorie perturbací v kosmologii / The mathematical theory of perturbations in cosmologyNovák, Jan January 2015 (has links)
We deal with cosmological perturbation theory in my work. We investigate General Theory of Relativity in Higher Dimensions in the Chapter 1. I mention GHP-formalism and algebraical classification of spacetimes. I use spinors to show that spacetimes of dimension 4 are special. I discuss also Kundt spacetimes, which are interesting for perturbation theory of black holes. I work with perturbations of FLRW ST's in GHP formalism in Chapter 2, which we want to use in Cosmological Inflation. The final part of my thesis is connected with scalar perturbations in f(R)-cosmologies, that can be used for explaining accelerated expansion in the last 5 billion years. I investigate the Universe at the scales of 150 Mpc, where I could not use the hydrodynamical approach. Thus I work with the generalization of the Landau's mechanical approach. I need quasi-static approximation for getting the potentials Φ and Ψ, since the equations are too complicated for direct integration. I plan to use the result also for numerical simulation of motions of dwarf galaxies in these potentials. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Endogenní teorie optimálních měnových oblastíHuk, Václav January 2018 (has links)
This thesis operates with the Endogenous Optimum Currency Area theory. It tests the main assumption of the endogenous theory by applying correlation and regression analysis on selected EU Member States. It compares correlation of economic cycles of selected states with the Eurozone over time along with testing significance of particular correlation factors. The results note significant synchronization of economic cycles during the economic crisis of 2008 as well as important desynchronization after 2013. As far as correlation factors are concerned statistical significance of Bilateral Trade Intensity, Intra-Industry Trade and Fiscal Differences Index on correlation of economic cycles is confirmed. However, the endogenous OCA hypothesis could not be unambiguously confirmed due to important European synchronization trend throughout the economic crisis that impacted large part of the results. Based on significant synchronization of European economies during economic crisis application of common monetary policy during this period can be recommended.
