The main objective is to assess the current situation of real and nominal conver-gence Czech Republic and selected countries of the euro area average. In assessing the real convergence of the work focuses on measuring the synchronization of business cycles and structural convergence. Measuring the synchronization of bussines cycles is done in the spirit of the modern concept of OCA theory. When assessing structural convergence is assessed similarities development of sectoral structures and the intensity of intra-industry trade. In nominal convergence are critical Maastricht convergence criteria and the development of the index CPL. While the analysis of convergence shows a high business cycle synchronization and the convergence trend in most countries and developments in the field of structural convergence points to ongoing differences in industrial specialization among the surveyed countries, which could lead to an increased risk of asymmetric shock in case membership in a monetary union.

Téma homosexuality v dílech japonských modernistů / The Theme of Homosexuality in the Works of Japanese ModernistsAbbasová, Veronika January 2019 (has links)
The PhD thesis deals with the topic of male homosexuality in the works of Japanese modernist authors; its aim is to discern in what ways homosexuality is portrayed in these works. In the theoretical part, the thesis first provides a wider definition of modernist literature, which encompasses not just the so-called pure literature but also popular literature works from the same period. It then offers an overview of male homosexuality in Japanese history from the Heian period to the 1930s with an emphasis on artistic representation of male homosexuality. Starting from the Tokugawa period, the focus is on individual discourses on male homosexuality - legal, medical and popular. The theoretical part also contains the methodology used for achieving the aim of this thesis, which is based mostly on post-structuralism and queer theory. This methodology is used in form of concrete tools - discourse analysis and deconstruction of binary oppositions underlying the social constructs of gender and sexuality. These approaches are complemented by strategies created by Martin C. Putna and Gregory M. Pflugdelder, who use a combination of topic and textual strategy analysis together with biographical and autobiographical information about the author to find different types of homosexuality representation in literary...

Princip proporcionality: kritika teoretických východisek a její relevance / The Principle of Proportionality: Critique of Theoretical Standpoints and Its RelevanceKoref, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
99 The Principle of Proportionality: Critique of Theoretical Standpoints and Its Relevance Abstract: A decision concerning a fundamental rights conflict needs to respect the principle of proportionality in order to be compatible with a constitutional order. The principle of proportionality obliges the court to adequately assess and weigh the conflicting fundamental rights or other constitutional principles in light of the particular facts. The proportionality of the decision is to be ensured by the so-called proportionality test. It consists of three steps: an assessment of the suitability, necessity and proportionality in a strict sense. The thesis The Principle of Proportionality: Critique of Theoretical Standpoints and Its Relevance describes the proportionality principle and the proportionality test in a specific legal- philosophical and legal-theoretical context. The first chapter introduces discursive theory as an important starting point for the rational application of fundamental right norms and the use of the proportionality test. For this purpose, it identifies the relationships between discourse, norms of justification and the proportionality principle. The second chapter of the thesis outlines, in relation to the existing approach of Czech legal theory, an alternative view of legal methodology...

Ukládání trestů dospělým / Imposing punishments on adultsKoubová, Michaela January 2021 (has links)
Imposing punishments on adults Abstract This thesis deals with the imposition of punishments on adult offenders. The introductory chapters are devoted first to the definition of the concept of punishment and its position in relation to protections measures, and then to the system of punishment, within which the different types of punishment and their classification according to various criteria are discussed. A substantial part of the work is devoted to the interpretation of the issue of the purpose of punishment, which is the starting point for the imposition of punishment. The purpose of punishment is described using the three main theories of punishment, namely retributive, utilitarian and mixed theories. These theories, their approach to the purpose of punishment and their historical development are discussed in more detail, including their various modifications. This chapter also deals with the purpose of punishment in the Czech legal system and, in connection, with the question of the primary and secondary purpose of punishment. This chapter also includes a separate discussion of the issue of general and individual prevention, which is important in terms of distinguishing the different approaches to the purpose of punishment according to the above-mentioned theories of punishment. Neurální mechanismy vnímání pravdy, lži a ironie / Neural mechanisms of understanding of truth, lie and ironySouček Loginova, Alisa January 2022 (has links)
Ironic statements are commonly used in our everyday communication. They are characterised by a meaning opposite to the literal one. They rely on mutual understanding of the contrast in the expressed ironic statement, which is based on common experience, knowledge, or understanding of the situational context. In this experiment, we aimed to find the neural correlates involved in the understanding of irony, as well as differences between brain regions involved in the understanding of deceits and the truth. The theoretical part of this thesis places irony into the broader context of higher cognitive functions and provides a solid theoretical background for its understanding from different points of view, such as neurobiological and psychological. Moreover, it describes a method called functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) as a non-invasive imaging technique allowing researchers to have deeper understanding and locate activations in various conditions. Practical part provides a detailed description of the experiment, including description of participants, methods, and analysis methods. Specifically, 17 healthy volunteers - 10 females and 7 males took part in this fMRI project. They were to evaluate 20 statements in 3 different contexts - ironic, deceitful, and truthful. Measured data in form of...

Srovnání rámcování Pařížské dohody ve francouzských denících Le Monde a Ouest-France v letech 2015 až 2016 / Comparison of the framing of the Paris Agreement in French journals Le Monde and Ouest-France in 2015 and 2016Jiráčková, Magdaléna January 2022 (has links)
The Paris Agreement is one of the most important international agreements concerning environmental issues of the world. It aims to keep global warming within a safe range, primarily by reducing national greenhouse gas emissions. The Paris Agreement was adopted at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Paris in December 2015, and it came into force less than a year later. The agreement has received media attention in various countries, including France. Moreover, French politicians saw the Paris Agreement as a success of French diplomacy. The thesis is based on framing theory and uses the method of qualitative content analysis to find and name frames found in articles in the French regional daily Ouest-France and the national daily Le Monde, and then to compare them. The work focuses on the period of one year since the adoption of the agreement, specifically covering the period between 13 December 2015 and 13 December 2016 inclusive. The two selected newspapers contain the same seven frames (the important but insufficient agreement frame, the doom frame, the responsibility of all countries frame, the responsibility of France frame, the economic consequences frame, the intra-state conflict frame, and the inter-state conflict frame, with Ouest-France additionally containing the...

Inkluzivní dobrovolnictví - Dobrovolnická činnost osob s postižením / Inclusive Volunteering - The volunteer activity of people with a disabilityMarková, Aneta January 2018 (has links)
Volunteering is a phenomenon that appeals to researchers, representatives of international institutions and governments in some countries, as a tool of social policy. Current research shows positive benefits of volunteering for the society but also for volunteers themselves. In this context, a new phenomenon, called inclusive volunteering, is emerging, which emphasizes that volunteering is open to all people in the society. At present, however, this phenomenon is not fully elucidated and researches that examine volunteering from the point of view of volunteers themselves, when considering inklusive volunteering, are very rare. The presented work aims to fill in the missing knowledge and thus contribute to the recognition of the phenomenon of volunteering through research of the previously very little known group of volunteers with a disability. The research sample consists of 27 volunteers with a disability who were interviewed. The interviews were analysed by the Strauss and Corbin's theory. The research has revealed that volunteers with a disability are experiencing a lack of social participation due to the absence of a socially valuable social role. The absence of a social role encourages the search for a new socially valuable social role that the volunteers with a disability find in...

Potenciální příčiny odchodů zaměstnanců ze školských zařízení na Chomutovsku / Petential causes of emloyees leaving school facilities in Chomutov regionRoušarová, Nikola January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of motivation and fluctuation of employees in various types of facilities. The topic of fluctuation is not current only in Czech society, as we still encounter discussions on how to prevent the unwanted fluctuation. The theoretical part is divided into a total of four chapters, which are focusing on the concepts of job mobility, fluctuation, motivation and school facilities. The aim of the practical part of the work is to figure out what motivates employees of school facilities in the Chomutov region in the work environment and to reveal the main areas leading to employee leaving, then compare them and determine a common denominator. It focuses on what, according to the addressed employees of school facilities, would be the potential causes of their leave and the effective motivation that could prevent their leaving. The used method of research was statistical with the use of data collection through a questionnaire survey. The evaluation has been done with total of 86 respondents - addressed employees of school facilities in the Chomutov region. The results of the samples show that although a high percentage of respondents do not currently think about leaving their current job, there are potential factors that would affect their eventual leaving. At the very...
