Alternatívne teórie firmy / Alternative theories of the firm

Pipíšková Slamková, Mária January 2011 (has links)
This thesis is focused on matters of alternative theories of a company in relation to their neoclasicistic model. It deals with view on profit maximization as traditional goal of a company and on different alternatives of this goal -- either reaching of satisfying amount of profit, or maximizing other economic indicators of a company or even on mission of a company to share with the community from its profit, which is above a company's primary function. This paper reviews function of a profit accross different theories and gives detailed overview on selected models of management and behavioral alternative theories. These points are later on followed by a section dedicated to corporate responsibility of companies. Its placing between alternative theories of company is preceded by an overview of relevant expert literature sources and by an overview of conditions, which current form and understanding of corporate social responsibility formed. The end of the paper is focused on JNJ Corporation and its environment, in which the company fulfills its social responsibility goals.

Aplikace Markowitzovy teorie při sestavování portfolia

Křen, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on building investment portfolios using Markowitz portfolio theory. For calculating the weights of individual securities in the portfolio will be used the derivation based on Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). From asset classes were chosen shares as a research sample. Shares in each portfolio are set together according to predefined criteria. This thesis examines the effect of beta coefficients on investment returns, further a portfolio is built according to analyst recommendations, taking into account the price estimation and also ran-dom portfolio is selected by computer. The results of this thesis will determine the general recommendations for optimal approach in selecting securities into the in-vestor's portfolio.

Reklama ve vývoji ekonomické teorie spotřeby

Issever Grochová, Ladislava January 2010 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to capture an evolution of views on advertising in economics in order to integrate the mentioned phenomenon into economic theory of consumption. Analyses of advertising emerge with the assumption of imperfect competition. Being potential fragments of advertising theory contributions in the field of interest are systematized in an individual chapter continued with a discussion on space and conditions that would enable an integration of advertising into economic theory of consumption. Based on Eichner criteria of scientific theory a comparison of neoclassical, institutional, post-Keynesian and behavioural attitudes to advertising is carried on. The attitudes differ according to ontology and epistemology that determine standard headings and consequently also potential integration of advertising. The integration seems to be acceptable only for mainstream (neoclassical) economics, hence it fulfils both fundamental and sufficient criteria of scientific theory, while for alternative economics preference evolution represents a difficulty that cannot fulfil coherency test, i. e. fundamental criteria of scientific theory.

Přechod deliktní odpovědnosti v soutěžním právu / Transfer of delictual liability in competition law

Pelikán, Michal January 2016 (has links)
Transfer of delictual liability in competition law The issue of delictual liability for anti-competitive practices and subsequent identification of party which is to be penalized for them is, with regard to effective protection of competition, a crucial one. However, it is also a topic which is, with a few notable exceptions, often addressed only superficially. This work therefore aims to perform thorough analysis of rules applicable to transfer of delictual liability both on European and Czech national level. For this purpose, it is divided into two major and comparatively separate parts. First of them is devoted to a detailed analysis of the European court of justice case-law related to the possibility of transfer of liability from the original infringer to a different legal entity. The aim is not only to identify particular criteria, which may affect such transfer of liability, but also to illustrate the direction in which the case-law of the European court of justice evolved and in which it is probable to continue heading in the future. The second part of this work deals with regulation of the transfer of liability within the Czech legal framework, commencing with adoption of Act no. 63/1991 Coll., on the Protection of Competition, up to the present. Considering the decisive influence of the...

Některé aspekty renormalizace kalibračních teorií se spontánním narušením symetrie / Aspects of renormalization of spontaneously broken gauge theories

Hudec, Matěj January 2016 (has links)
In this thesis, we use the Coleman-Weinberg effective potential for computing the radiative corrections to scalar masses in six simple models of the quantum field theory. We probe, for example, the theory of two scalar fields, simple generalizations of the Abelian Higgs model or some classic extensions of the Standard Model. A common feature of all the theories considered is the existence of (at least) two mass scales different in order of magnitude. Being motivated by the hierarchy problem, we study mainly the sensitivity of light scalar masses on the radiative corrections induced by the heavy fields in relevant Feynman loops. We demonstrate that while the masses of scalars with zero VEV obtain corrections proportional to the masses of the heavy fields, in theories with the spontaneous symmetry breakdown is the Higgs mass always governed by the corresponding ordering parameter, i.e., by its vacuum expectation value. For the Standard Model, understood as an effective field theory, this implies that the Higgs boson mass is as stable with respect to the effects of possible new physics on very high energies as the masses of the leptons, quarks, W and Z bosons. Čínská teorie tlumočení (teoretická studie) / Chinese Interpreting Theory

Drašnarová, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
The subject of this Master's thesis is introducing Chinese interpreting theory with regard to its historical and cultural background, including a description of the Chinese interpreting scene and education of interpreters. Chinese translation theory is also explained briefly in order to serve as a reference to Chinese considerations on interpreting. The thesis introduces the most influential Chinese researchers in this area and strives to provide a general overview as well as show concrete examples and extracts from Chinese theoretical publications with special attention paid to specific features of Chinese interpreting theory.

Jsou tenisté racionální? / Are tennis players rational?

Foksová, Eva January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to verify the hypothesis on real data based on economic theory and these theories to confirm or reject. The first part deals with testing of hypotheses based on the game theory and tests whether tennis players play according to the minimax theory. The Hypotheses analyse the data for strong and weak players, considering their service, and verify which group of players converge in their strategies toward minimax theory assumptions. Specifically, theory components of the hypotheses are tested within this part: i) the probability of winning the game serving from the right side of a court is the same as the probability of winning the game serving from the left side, ii) this hypothesis will hold true rather in case of stronger players serving against weaker players than in case equally strong players playing against each other and iii) Based on the assumption that women do not excel distinctively in serving, the results in the women's matches will be worse in the minimax theory than results from men's matches. Hypotheses derived from the theory of elimination tournaments are tested in the second part of the diploma thesis. The hypotheses are analysed on the tennis data whether players make less effort in uneven tournaments, regardless of their position as favourite or outsider, than the theory presumes. The analysis of the above mentioned hypotheses was performed on the data from the Grand Slam tournaments in the years 2011 and 2012. Hypotheses are tested using both male and female data. The results obtained from analysis of the data confirm the hypotheses.

Greenovy funkce proudů v anomálním sektoru kvantové chromodynamiky / Green functions of currents in the odd-intrinsic parity sector of QCD

Kadavý, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
Green functions of currents allow us to study resonances in the low- energy limit of QCD. Using them, we can construct amplitudes or decay widths of processes. By a comparison of the theoretical predictions with experimental measurements we can determine the values of parameters of the theory and obtain a more comprehensive understanding about the be- haviour of QCD processes. In our investigated topic, an odd-parity sector of QCD, exist five nontriv- ial three-point Green functions, also referred to as correlators. Correlators V V P and V AS have already been studied in [1], whilst a calculation of AAP was provided in [2]. In this thesis we therefore deal with the Green functions V V A and AAA that have not yet been studied before. We present a complete calculation of the contributing Feynman diagrams in the anti- symmetric tensor formalism that satisfies high-energy behaviour within the OPE framework, as was shown also in [2]. The obtained results are submit- ted to phenomenological studies. Further, we also present an introduction to our calculations of the four- point Green functions V V PP and V V V V . The calculations were carried out both in the antisymmetric tensor and vector formalism but due to the complicated tensor structure of the results, the calculations can not be shown here in their...

Teorie her jako teorie konfliktu a kooperace / Game theory as a confict and cooperation theory

Horáček, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
The main focus of this work is the relation between sociology and mathematics, especially the relation between sociological theories of conflict and cooperation and the game theory. In the work four general theories of conflict (and coopera- tion) are introduced - theory by John Rex, Kenneth Boulding, Louis Kriesberg and František Znebejánek. Each is accompanied by a critical review. Next, the formal game theory is introduced. The main effort is to shed new light on game theoretic concepts known in sociology and introduce some of the less known ones. The text is focused on the main ideas and explanation without mathematical for- malism. Historical relation between sociology and game theory is discussed. Also some topics that are not well handled in game theory from sociological point of view are further elaborated - assumption of rationality, definition of utility and preference, assumption of general knowledge etc. There are also topics from mathematics and informatics slowly penetrating sociology - computer simulation, prediction, that we also discuss. The possible modifications and merit of game theory for sociology is also included. Inspired by the previous theories, at the end of this work a new theoretic model of conflict and cooperation is introduced, which tries to overcome some imperfections of the...

Psychologie výtvarného umění u Rudolfa Arnheima / Rudolf Arnheim's psychology of art

Kutil, Lukáš January 2020 (has links)
The presented thesis introduces Rudolf Arnheim's core claims regarding psychology of art. Arnheim's conceptions of expression, affectivity, visual dynamics, centric and eccentric composition (etc.) are investigated within the text. Furthermore, more recent empirical findings are brought to attention to confront Arnheim's view. A complete picture of Arnheim's theory of expression should be drawn in historical context. The empirical study hereby conducted offers a closer look at a number of Arnheim's hypotheses regarding the "weight" phenomenon, as described by author. The perception of "weight" is observed in relation to the chromatic characteristics of presented stimuli. Keywords Rudolf Arnheim, Gestalttheorie, theory of expression, affectivity, perception
