This thesis deals with the monetary union development issues and their role in the process of European Union integration. Following the Maastricht convergence criteria (price stability, foreign exchange rate stability, stability of long-term interest rates, and condition of public finance) is essential for the accession to the European Monetary Union (EMU). The sense of Maastricht criteria is to evaluate the level of economic convergence. The content of the thesis focuses both on the evaluation of the candidates ability to fulfill the Maastricht criteria and to integrate into the monetary regime of EMU, and fulfilment of the criteria by current members of EU. Next part of the thesis follows up the origin and development of a theory of optimum currency area (OCA), which assesses the suitability of using common currency within EMU by means of its criteria.
In conclusion of the thesis benefits and expenses of the common currency are compared, and the future development of EMU is mentioned.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to investigate and provide a solution to the motivation of employees at a branch bank. A well-motivated employee is a key component towards the whole company success as well as a significant competitive advantage.
The theoretical part, which derives findings from literary sources, summarizes the features and theories of management. Further, it deals with motivation including various theories and views on a methodology of work motivation, a motivational program of a company and a job performance.
The practical part focuses on the chosen company, a Moravian medium-sized branch, and its aims. It analyses the current characteristics of a motivational system in the given company and future prospects of its employees.
Based on the findings and results, I present recommendations to the organization management, which would serve to modify the existing motivational system and, consequently, the motivation of employees.

At the same time, it examines what the creative processes and attitudes of filmmakers towards emotions in experimental animation are. Analysis of the questionnaires also reveals whether the creator counts on the viewer's specific interpretation of the film.

The thesis describes and analyses post-documentary photography with emphasis on contemporary Chinese theory and practice. The traditionally defined documentary function of photography has been challenged on many sides and the technology growth of the new media has caused the structural change of photographic language. Documentary function, the core characteristics of photographic language, is rapidly falling apart in this change. As an imported tool, photography has taken a special road in its growth in China. For well known ideology reasons, the documentary function of photography has displayed some very peculiar changes in its traditional past as well as in globalized China today. This paper will try to analyze various causes that influence the documentary function of photography, compare political and cultural differences and show the post-documentary characteristics of contemporary Chinese photography.

Master’s thesis analyses the attitude of young female artists, who mostly work with photographic medium, primarily presenting their art works by digital tools, via online platforms. The intention of thesis lies in examination of the group of young female artist, connected by The Ardorous collective, whose members are automatically perceived as feminists, who insist on equality for women in the art world. It also analyses working approach of collective’s founder Petra Collins, as well as some of its most noteworthy members, and contemplates on ideological means leading to their final works. Thesis also describes approach not only to the art practicing, but to the entire constructing of its own public image, by comparing The Ardorous with the british female collective of alike intentions, Bunny Collective. Hypothesis of designated artists are partly interpreted with fragments of text by french creative collective Tiqqun, named Preliminary Materials For a Theory of the Young-Girl [2007, Semiotext(e)].
