Duchovní vedení v životě sv. Terezie z Avily / Spiritual guidance in the life of St. Teresa of AvilaNěmcová, Karolína January 2017 (has links)

Terezie od Ježíše: reflexe v českém prostředí od roku 1900 do současnosti / The Mystical path of St. Teresa of Jesus: reflection in the Czech environment since 1900 to the presentBušková, Magda January 2013 (has links)
Saint Teresa of Jesus, the Spanish mystic of 16th century and the Carmelite order reformer presents the doctrine of internal prayer and all its stages in her works based on own personal experience of life with the God. The intention of this work is to analyze Teresa's mystical path as a process of spiritual life with various stages of transformation. It will deal with what it means to be united with the God for the human life in Teresa's conception. It will also submit how Teresa's doctrine of mystical path has been reflected in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present, respectively by Czech authors and by foreign authors of whose works were translated into the Czech language. The work will be based on the concrete text of Interior Castle, in which Teresa represents the soul with number of dwelling places. The structure will be defined by single dwelling places, which are considered the ascetic and mystical stages of the prayer. The work itself, the Interior Castle, will be introduced together with the first to third ascetic dwelling places which had been the subject of previous bachelor's work. The mystical stages of the prayer, which are represented by fourth to seventh dwelling places, will create the main part of the thesis. The reflections of various authors are considered as the...

Terezie od Ježíše: Hrad v nitru / Teresa of Jesus: Interior CastleKutarňová, Kateřina January 2011 (has links)
Teresa of Jesus: Interior Castle Kateřina Kutarňová Diploma thesis Abstract This thesis seeks to understand the most important text of Teresa of Jesus -'Interior Castle' which is considered one of the most important books of Spanish mysticism. This understanding should be achieved by using both theological and phenomenologico- hermenutical commentaries. The main topics of this thesis are religious and mystical experience, mystical transformation and intersubjectivity. Motivated by the possibility of gaining the understanding of the text as a whole, I firstly try to present the meaning of particular chapters. The Interior Castle leads from incorrect/false understanding (of one's self, reality and God) to the right or true one. This true understanding is made possible by reaching the mystical marriage between God and man based on full and conscious living of their mutual, intersubjective relationship. The reaching of mystical intersubjectivity provides the possibility of transgressing from knowing the reality as it appears to be to knowing the reality as it is. Keywords Teresa of Jesus; Teresa of Avila; Interior Castle; Christianity; Religious Experience; Mystical Experience; Mysticism; Mystical Transformation; Intersubjectivity; Frohlich Mary; Lonergan Bernard; Ahlgren Gillian; Steinbock Anthony

Vojenští zběhové v době osvícenského absolutismu ve světle dokumentů Českého gubernia a dalších pramenů / Army Deserters in the Era of the Enlightened Absolutism Regarding the Documents of the Czech Gubernium and Other SourcesŠvehelka, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with the issues of military deserters from the imperial-royal army at the period of the enlightened absolutism, thus during the reign of Maria Theresa and her sons Joseph II and Leopold II. Based on written as well as printed sources, originated mainly from the activity of the supreme provincial offices of the Kingdom of Bohemia at this time, an explanation on the questions of deserters' punishments, their limited pardons and mutual exchanges, made between the Habsburg Monarchy and her allies, has been offered. Moreover, the attention has been paid to the state's approach to the inhabitants that either provided aid to the deserters, or vice versa participated in their pursuit and capture. The last part of the text has been devoted to the registries of military deserters who originated from Bohemia, with the main emphasis on the Seven Years' War, because these registries have been preserved mostly for this conflict. Key words military deserters, enlightened absolutism, enlightened reforms, Czech Gubernium, War of the Austrian Succession, Seven Years' War, Maria Theresa, Joseph II

Proměny církve v době nastupujícího osvícenství / Transformations of the Church at the Time of the Incoming EnlightenmentŽezlo, Martin January 2017 (has links)
Master's thesis Transformations of the Church at the Time of the Incoming Enlightenment discusses the ongoing contradictions between faiths. Catholic confession, which initially imposed on all subjects and nobilities in the Roman Empire has been slowly losing its previous power. Its power has been decreasing in inverse proportion by the time Enlightenment spreaded to the Czech lands throughout Germany and Italy. It changed everything, what was perceived in some way, and in turn created a lot of new knowledge. Enlightenment appeared under the rule of Emperor Charles VI., although not as much as of his daughter Marie Terezie and of his grandson Emperor Joseph II. at all. Joseph II. transformed his entire empire based on his Enlightenment ideas. By the time of reforms the "liberation" of non-Catholics and the abolition of serfdom is gradually coming. The Church at this time was very fragmented and was creating new spiritual insights on the Catholic Church and Christianity itself.

Na okraji vojenské společnosti. Vojenští invalidé, zběhové a delikventi v císařsko-královské armádě za sedmileté války / On the Edge of the Military Society. Military Invalids, Deserters and Delinquents in the Imperial-Royal Army in the Seven Years' WarŠvehelka, Ondřej January 2017 (has links)
This thesis concerns military invalids, deserters and delinquents in the Imperial-Royal Army during the Seven Years' War (1756-1763). Its essence lies in the research of documents originated from the activity of the Representations and Chambers, the supreme representative offices in Bohemia and Moravia. The elementary methodological approach comes from a positivist conception, therefore it interprets the information found within the sources as a story (in a certain sense of word) based on the reality which is recorded by them. The theoretical part is enhanced by the outcomes of study of auxiliary books called Elenchs that provide information even about such sources that have not been preserved till today. Thus, I try to answer the question to which extent it is still possible to use them. The main component of the work is formed by three chapters which are dedicated to particular categories of the military persons in an order stated above. Within them, I present the results of the source research that, in the case of the invalids, concern notably their economic security and utilization for the Habsburg Monarchy's war effort. The chapter about the military deserters continues my previous research and amends it (among else) with newly found facts within the sphere of the enlightened-absolutist...

Tapiserie a gobelíny ze sbírek Pražského hradu / Tapestries of Prague Castle collectionsPospíšilová, Denisa Isabella January 2018 (has links)
Annotation: The work is dedicated to tapestries from Prague Castle collections, hanging in the State Rooms and the ones that are stored in Prague Castle depository. The tapestries always played an important role in decorating the interior and still help to create a festive atmosphere of this place, usually not accessible to the public. The author focuses on detailed identification of three baroque series known as Anthony and Cleopatra and Months of the year. The serie Anthony and Cleopatra dates back to the turn of the 17th and the 18th centuries. Convolutes of the tapestries of the cycle Months of the year (represented at Prague Castle in two ways - figurally and non-figurally) were made at the beginning of the 18th century as well as in the years 1728-1736. The tapestry on the theme of the life of Anthony and Cleopatra consists of eight pieces. Seven of them belong to an elementary part of Prague Castle collection, the eighth is in Vienna. The serie Months of the year has a similar history. It consists of ten pieces, nine of them are situated at Prague Castle, the tenth is again in Vienna. Longstory short, the work is dedicated to baroque tapestries that help to create genius loci of Prague Castle. After a brief introduction providing the informative insight into the issue, the explanation of the history...
