Vzduchotěsnost obvodových konstrukcí a kritických detailů / Air tightness of building structures and critical details

Vávra, Petr January 2015 (has links)
In thesis is dealt with problematic of how the value of air permeability may be affected by properties for water vapour diffusion with regard to OSB material There were chosen two main brands of OSB at Czech trade market Two specimens of OSB with different thickness were chosen for each brand. As a first the specimens were tested for air tightness to work out a value of air permeability for each specimen. Afterwords, the testing was conducted for gaining properties of water vapour diffusion on each specimen. As a final assessment was analysed the impact of properties of water vapour diffusion on the air tightness for each specimen. The general meaning of gaining higher air tightness with higher water vapour resistance was proved . It was shown that with raising thickness is usually gotten higher value of water vapour diffusion resistance. However it could not mean getting high air tightness. The crucial parameter is the quality of the material for gaining higher resistance against water vapour diffusion as well as for higher airtightness.

K problematice překladu odborného textu / On Professional Text Translation

Pémová, Petra January 2015 (has links)
(in English): The work in this diploma contains the special syntactic structural features of Russian and Czech historical and political science texts. The author of the work takes as a theoretical starting point the principle that Russian scientific texts use more condensed forms of expression than Czech scientific texts, and uses evidence in this diploma to verify the truth of this principle. Quantitative research was carried out to test this theory via examination of Czech and Russian historical and political science texts in both original and translated forms. The original criteria for the choice of texts used was thematic closeness, time period of text creation and a minimum length of 5,000 words. This criteria was later expanded to 7,000 words for original texts and 9,000 words for original texts and their translations. In addition to this a translation analysis was carried out concerning condensation devices, expression dynamics and the implicitness and explicitness of the text. The contrastive analysis of applied condensation devices of Czech and Russian texts adheres to the classification framework of Czech linguist Milan Jelinek. The results of the author's analysis confirm that Russian political science and historical texts reach higher predicative tightness of expression and use more...

Návrh opatření pro snížení energetické náročnosti prodejny potravin / Proposal of measures for reducing energy demands of food stores

Julinová, Patricie January 2016 (has links)
The master thesis deals with measures to reduce energy performance of grocery store building. Model of the grocery store is evaluated according to a recommended energy values specified by Czech standards and according to the real values of the actual consumption. These values are compared. Final building analysis for a proposal measures to reduce energy consumption is based on the invoices of the real consumption and on the experimental assignments. Experimental measurements are the Blower door test of the tightness of the building envelope, the measures with the thermovision camera and the measuring of the illumination intensity. The most efficient proposal is extended to the whole model network of the food shops in the Czech Republic.

Epidemiologic Survey of a Unique Type of Task-Specific Dystonia in Brass Musicians

Wallace, Eric (Trombonist) 12 1900 (has links)
Brass musicians are known to experience a performance problem that is sometimes called valsalva maneuver or musical stuttering. This problem is known to cause difficulty starting a first note, tension in the throat, and tightness in the chest. Unfortunately, the research literature lacks sufficient details for evidence-based interventions. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to characterize and define this performance problem as experienced by brass musicians. An online epidemiologic survey was developed and deployed to collect data from brass musicians who have experienced this problem in their own playing. The survey was designed to acquire data in order to characterize and define the phenomenon through a biopsychosocial framework. The survey was also designed to assess whether this problem aligns with Altenmuller's heuristic model of motor control disruptions. A diverse group of brass musicians (n = 252) participated and offered relevant details for characterizing and defining this problem. Analysis of characteristic data suggests this problem is not a form of musical stuttering. Considering these data through Altenmuller's model suggests that this problem is experienced as a spectrum of motor disruptions that can develop into a unique type of musician's dystonia. While additional research is warranted, the results of this study are applicable to brass musicians, brass pedagogues, music educators, and performing arts health clinicians.

Spadaro, Marcel 29 January 2024 (has links)
These relationships are investigated and elucidated using the example of an injection-molded plastic-metal part. A method for the production of firmly bonded hybrid parts with high media tightness based on a high contact temperature during joining of the hybrid part is developed by combining injection molding and subsequent thermal joining by induction heating. A firm bond with high media tightness between a thermoplastic and a metal requires an adhesion in the inter-face of the joint materials based on molecular interactions. The quantification of the media tightness in the interface is done by using a specially developed measurement method. The investigations enable the differentiation between molecular interactions and mechanical interlocking as the cause of adhesion formation and their influence on the properties of the interface. The gained knowledge contributes to the understanding of interface formation and its prop-erties, in particular the influence of the surface properties of the metallic bond partner and the joining process conditions for the production of plastic-metal parts with high media tightness.:1 Einleitung und Motivation 2 Stand der Technik und Forschung 3 Zielsetzung und Lösungsansatz 4 Experimentelles 5 Analytik 6 Ergebnisse 7 Diskussion der Ergebnisse 8 Zusammenfassung und Ausblick
