Denna fallstudie studerar ett mindre tillväxtbolag med en nulägesanalys och deras möjligheter till förbättring. I en tillväxtfas är det svårt att följa med i struktur och rutiner, genom att undersöka möjligheter att stabilisera och förankra sin tillväxt har företagets försörjningskedja analyserats. Genom undersökning av teoretiska metoder och metodik har vi fastställt lösningar som är applicerbara på detta företag. Syftet är att visa en bild på hur materialplanering och styrning skall utvecklas för att hjälpa företag att fastställa hållbara rutiner och arbetssätt. En kvalitativ fallstudie har genomförts och en nulägesanalys sammanställts med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer och empiriska data i form av statistik. Intervjuerna genomfördes med tre ansvariga personer från företaget i fallstudien. För att identifiera var tillväxtföretaget har möjligheter att utvecklas bör grundläggande processer identifieras och utvärderas. Att kritiskt utvärdera de processer som har utvecklings och förbättringsmöjligheter kan hjälpa företaget att med enkla metodappliceringar förbättra sin verksamhet. I studien har det identifierats potentiella förbättringar som medför kortare planeringshorisont, kortare total ledtid från order till leverans och introducering av ett färdigvarulager. Genom noggrann planering kan kapaciteten i maskinen Profil A nyttjas till en optimal nivå. Dessa förbättringar ger struktur, kontroll och skapar en plattform för stabilare och fortsatt tillväxt. / This case study studies a small growth company with a current situation analysis and their opportunities for improvement. In a growth phase, it is difficult to keep up with structure and routines, by examining opportunities to stabilize and anchor its growth, the company's supply chain has been analyzed. By examining theoretical methods and methodology, we have established solutions that are applicable to this company. The purpose is to show a picture of how materialplanning and management should be developed to help companies establish sustainable routines and working methods. A qualitative case study has been carried out and a current situation analysis has been compiled with the help of semi-structured interviews and empirical data in the form of statistics. The interviews were conducted with three responsible people from the company in the case study. To identify where the growth company has opportunities to develop, fundamental processes should be identified and evaluated. Critically evaluating the processes that have development and improvement opportunities can help the company to improve its operations with simple method applications. The study has identified potential improvements that lead to a shorter planning horizon, a shorter total lead time from order to delivery and the introduction of a finished goods inventory. Through careful planning, the capacity of the Profil A machine can be utilized to an optimal level. These improvements provide structure, control and create a platform for more stable and continued growth.
