Disertacijoje nagrinėjami kelio trasos projektavimo dėsningumai, projektiniai sprendiniai žvyrkelių rekonstrukcijos projektuose ir jų sąsajos su automobilių kelių projektavimo normų nuostatomis. Disertacijos tikslas – pasiūlyti metodus kelio trasos projektinių sprendinių kokybei gerinti. Disertacijoje sprendžiami šie uždaviniai: nustatyti kelio trasos projektinių sprendinių sąsajas su automobilių kelių projektavimo normų nuostatomis, įvertinti esamos kelio trasos geometrinius parametrus numatomuose rekonstruoti žvyrkeliuose, atlikti lyginamuosius avaringumo tyrimus, įvertinti kelio trasos projektinių sprendinių kokybę žvyrkelių rekonstrukcijos projektuose, pateikti rekomendacijas Lietuvos Respublikos automobilių kelių projektavimo normų nuostatoms tobulinti. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, 5 skyriai, bendrosios išvados ir rekomendacijos bei priedai. / The dissertation studies regularities for the design of road alignment, design solutions in the gravel road reconstruction projects and their links with the require-ments of road design standards. The aim of the dissertation – to suggest methods for improving the quality of design solutions. The following tasks are solved in the dissertation: to determine the links of design solutions of road alignment with the requirements of road design standards, to evaluate geometric parameters of the existing road alignment on the gravel roads to be reconstructed, to carry out comparative investigations of accident rate, to determine the quality of design solutions of road alignment in the gravel road reconstruction projects and to give recommendations for improving the requirements of the road design standards of the Republic of Lithuania. The dissertation consists of introduction, five chapters, general conclusions, recommendations and addenda.

This thesis describes and analyzes the postal transportation network of Central Bohemian Region, shows an applications of operational management in transport and by Clarke - Wright algorithm with limited capacity of the vehicles and limited time of ride solves the design of new routes to reduce mileage while operating the branch network of the territory.

This diploma work is aimed at a proposal and an overall controll of the pipeline net. There is a preliminary calculation performed (by the analytical method) in this diploma work. There is also a comparison with the numerical computing to find out whether the pipe branch does or does not comply.

The goal of this thesis is to create an artificial agent for an autonomous racing vehicle. This project is inspired by the F1/10 racing competition. The agent uses a planning algorithm to find a time-optimal trajectory. To achieve real-time performance, the agent analyzes the map of the track and it plans only for the next two corners immediately ahead of the vehicle. The agent re-plans several times per second as it drives along the circuit to account for imprecise trajectory following. We successfully tested the agent in the Gazebo simulator with good results. We also tested the algorithm on a custom car-like robot equipped with an on-board computer and sensors, but with limited success. 1

The main target of the Diploma Thesis was to develop situational analyses of progressing tourism in Velešín. To determine marketing aims, to choose marketing strategy and to build up marketing plan. On this base there has been evolved a proposal of a concrete project of tourism development in Velešín. The partial targets were to create the city Velešín for tourists and local inhabitants more attractive in tourism area and to make the city Velešín more visible. In 2008 there were negotiations with River basin Vltava (Povodí Vltavy s.p.) about accessing to some localities for regardful tourism which ended up successfully. The condition for usage of new available localities is to construct paths for pedestrians and to provide information for tourists. Based on that fact there was established a project. Its target was to create a touristic route along accessible places in close proximity of Římov´s dam and to install educational boards with texts and photographs on views. The photographs would give evidence about how the place looked like before Římov´s dam was built up.

Karlštejn Castle is one of the most popular tourist sights in the Czech Republic. This thesis therefore focuses on the use of this conservation area, especially in the second half of the 20th century and all the 21st century. Based on the available archival documents, in the thesis there are described changes of the expositions in the castle's rooms that are opened to the visitors. The thesis is also focused on the tour routes and development of the visitors' turnout. Last of all, in this thesis there are mentioned past and present events held in the castle and other "crowd-pullers" that are attractive to the visitors. In the first part the thesis also deals with the issue of the castle's ownership and the effort for the integration among the UNESCO sights.

European Commission sees further development of rail passenger transport as one of the main pillars for maintaining and further strengthening of competitiveness of Europe. With rail passenger transport, as a growth industry that connects all the other sectors, we can count on further economic development in future while preserving diversity and beauty of European fauna and flora as well as growth in living standards. It was found that the trends in the use of railways in the Czech Republic and advanced European countries are different. The paper assumes that the role of rail passenger transport in the Czech Republic will strengthen in accordance with trends in western countries. The paper analyses the Czech rail passenger transport market. The Prague -- České Budějovice route has been identified as the most suitable for entry of a new private operator. There are strong streams of passengers. After completion of the railway corridor the route will offer extension of activities onto the Austrian market. The paper analyses the competitive environment. The main competitors are RegioJet and LEO Express. The operator can compete using low-cost concept, especially EMU trains. High quality of offered services will also play an important role. Leasing was identified as the most convenient financial instrument. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are summarized in the SWOT analysis.

This Master's thesis deals with an analysis of cycling in Vysočina region based on that a project focused on a promotion of cycling in the area is to be designed. The main objective is to find appropriate means of transport that should serve cyclists to approach their favourite tourist destinations. Together with newly created lines corresponding to the tourist destinations a realizable project should be designed the purpose of which is to promote tourism in Vysočina region.

This thesis is a comprehensive look at cycling in Slovakia and the possibility of its further development - legislation, funding, policies and strategies. The main objective of the paper is to analyze the state of cycling and cyclo touring in Bratislava and its surroundings. The analysis includes evaluation of the current state of the network of cycle paths and future cycle routes projects in the city, cycling and other forms of transport as well as suggestions for the future.
