Typologie venkova Plzeňského kraje a hodnocení měkkých faktorů rozvoje / Typology of rural space in the Pilsen Region and evaluation of soft factors of the development

Krupková, Lucie January 2015 (has links)
- Typology of rural space in the Pilsen Region and evaluation of soft factors of the development Presented diploma thesis deals with an important theme of rural differentiation. The goal is to create a typology of rural space within the Pilsen Region by potential of the development using quantitative data and then verify the typology by qualitative research of soft factors. The verification consists firstly in research of perception and regional identity of rural regions from the point of view of actors involved in rural development within the Pilsen Region and secondly in evaluation of appearance of chosen rural municipalities to observe the differences of each type. Theoretical part is focused on issues of differentiation of space, institutional theories with accent on application in the rural areas and rural development issues. Analytical part consists of created typology using component and cluster analysis. Further it presents the results of analysis of perception and regional identity of rural regions using method of semi-structured interviews and results of analysis of appearance of municipalities using standardized observation. The outcome is a compact typology created by combination of quantitative and qualitative data with suggestions of specific development possibilities of each type....

Syntax and semantic of movement, motion and position verbs in modern French and Georgian

Kokashvili, Sophio 13 December 2012 (has links)
The present study develops a general typology of movement, motion and position verbs in modern French and Georgian. Working in a morphosyntactic and semantic perspective, I attempt to trace the constituents that are involved in the semantics of locative relations with movement, motion and position verbs in both languages. From a semantic point of view, the lexical meaning of each verb included in the corpus implies a locative seme and a certain number of arguments referring to entities that play a definite role in the particular event signified by the verb. The same relation occurs between other elements of the sentence: preverbs and adpositions (prepositions/postpositions). In both languages, two- and three-argument relations trigger phenomena known as valence and diathesis. Verbal valence indicates, at the most general level, the combinatory aptitude of a verb, while diathesis refers to morphosyntacic operation of augmentation and reduction of verbal valence. The expression of movement, motion and position implies semantic properties such as trajectory, manner of motion, spatial place, intentionality and the aspectual properties of movement and motion verbs. A contrastive study allowed us, on the one hand, a description of movement, motion and position verbs in both languages, and on the other hand to pinpoint specific morphosyntactic, semantic and combinatory differences and similarities, such as the tole of preverb, adpositions, locative arguments, and appreciate how verbs enter in the expression of movement, motion and position.

Sinokorejská slovní zásoba v moderní korejštině / Sinokorean lexicon in modern Korean

Mazaná, Vladislava January 2012 (has links)
1 TITLE: Sino-Korean Lexicon in Modern Korean AUTHOR: Vladislava Mazana DEPARTMENT: Institute of East Asian Studies SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Tomáš Horák, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This diploma paper is focused on morphological aspects of the Sino-Korean lexicon in modern Korean, the main topics are Sino-Korean word-formation and Sino-Korean classification of parts of speech. Hereby considered are the typological differences between Korean, an agglutinative language and Chinese, an isolative-polysyntetic language. The problem with Sino-Korean words is their ambiguity and vagueness, they appear in various grammatical and syntactical functions with their form unchanged. One morpheme can simultaneously function as an affix and root. This paper analyzes forms of function units, it deals with ways of word-formation (composition and derivation). The ways of prefixation and suffixation are researched. Based on the results of this analysis an adequate classification of Sino-Korean parts of speech is aimed to be established. Both the original Korean and the Chinese systems of parts of speech are taken into account but neither of them corresponds with the characterics and functions of the Sino-Korean words. Considering the multifunctional character of Sino-Korean morphemes it is extremely difficult to classify the words into parts of...

Postavy v krátkých prózách Jaroslava Durycha / Characters in Short Prosaic Works of Jaroslav Durych

Jumrová, Pavla January 2012 (has links)
The thesis presents a typology of characters in short prosaic works of Jaroslav Durych. In the introduction the readers get acquainted with contemporary approaches of the theory of literature towards the characters and with the ways to make typologies of characters. The author's opinions about art and man are quoted too because Durych's fiction is influenced by his artistic and religious opinions. Next, Durych's prosaic works are characterised in relation to trends in literature. Information about previous works concerning characters in prosaic works of Jaroslav Durych is also given in the introduction. The central part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of characters in short prosaic works. Both female and male characters are analysed by means of the same criteria: character-definition v. character-hypothesis, character-subject v. character- object, name, appearance, soul, death, love to God and their human partner. Within each section, e.g. Appearance, short prosaic works are analysed in chronological order to show how the characters were altered and how they were influenced by various trends in literature, etc. Eventually, differences between female and male characters are named, and two basic types of female characters and two basic types of male characters which can be found in Durych's...

Závislost na hraní PC her - typologie českých hráčů a možnosti terapie, kvalitativní sonda, zkušenosti českých terapeutů. / Addiction to pc gaming - typology of Czech players and their therapy options, qualitative probe, experiences of Czech therapists

Dolejšová, Kristýna January 2014 (has links)
Backround: In Czech Republic, the addiction on computer games is an unexplore area. Unlike abroad, There exist only few research focused specifically on the typology of game players and also on the treatment methodes Aims: The aim of this thesis was to map clients present in treatment of addiction on computer games, as it's seemed by clinicians (psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and educational workers) working with clients with non-substance addiction. Another aim is to discover which games are prefered by Czech players, who are present in treatment with addiction on computer games, and what is their motivation to play them. Finally I want to describe therapeutic procedures, used by clinicians during the treatment of this clients. Methods: Qualitative methods were used for data collection - semistructured interview based on questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by inductive analysis, using method of contrast and comparison and method of formation of clusters. Sample: The basic sample was made up of employees of ambulances, the pedagogical and Education Care Centers in Czech Republic. The overall number of facilities that participed this research was 72. Results: There is only 18% of facilities, in which there are clinicians who have some experience with clients with computer...

Vyučovací styly učitelů anglického jazyka na ZŠ a SŠ / Teaching styles of lower-secondary and higher-secondary school teachers of the English language

Harazimová, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals primarily with teaching styles - a topic that has not been greatly discussed in Czech pedagogical literature so far. Based on both Czech and foreign sources, this paper identifies and describes in detail various aspects of teaching styles and presents several approaches to study them. Moreover, it puts the above-mentioned topic in a context of other related concepts, such as teaching method, teachers' beliefs etc. It provides an overview of several teaching styles typologies designed by mostly American authors. The empirical part introduces an original research based on both quantitative and qualitative approach. It presents a detailed study of six selected teachers of the English language and based on their responses identifies certain aspects of different teaching styles. The thesis also reveals some of their views and opinions of their profession.

Etude expérimentale du tourbillon en fer à cheval au pied d'un obstacle émergent dans un roulement laminaire à surface libre / Experimental study of the horseshoe vortex at the foot of a emergent obstacle in a laminar free-surface flow

Launay, Gaby 17 November 2016 (has links)
A laminar boundary layer developing under a free-surface and interacting with an emerging obstacle lead to the creation of a complex recirculation zone called horseshoe vortex upstream from the obstacle. This recirculation zone is composed of a given number of vortices wrapping around the obstacle with various kind of dynamics. The aim of this work is to perform an experimental parametric study of the laminar, and slightly turbulent horseshoe vortex. Measurements are obtained by PIV and trajectographies and detection method based on modal decomposition (POD) and critical points are used to ease the study of the vortex dynamics. This manuscript intends to : (i) Explain the horseshoe vortex main characteristics evolution with the non-dimensional parameters of the flow. (ii) Define a typology of the different observed vortex dynamics. (iii) Identify the physical mechanisms at the origin of those dynamics through the use of a conceptual model. (iv) And finally, show the influence of the obstacle length on the horseshoe vortex.

: une étude comparative / The expression of reference to space in Italian and French L2 : a comparative study

Anastasio, Simona 10 July 2018 (has links)
This thesis intervenes in the line of studies about the relation between language andcognition in L2. The main objective is to analyze spatial conceptualization in an oralnarrative task (Frog story) by several groups of learners who differ for a) their L1 (English,French, Italian), b) their L2 (Italian, French) and c) their L2 proficiency level (intermediatevs. advanced). In order to do this, we adopt a methodology that implies successivecomparisons between the productions performed by different native and non-native groupsaccomplishing the same task. The aim is to distinguish to what extent learners get closer tothe TL and if they are influenced by their L1 during the spatial production in L2.The L1 results confirm the intertypological differences between verb-framed, Italian andFrench, and satellite-framed languages, English (Talmy 1985, 2000). Nevertheless, anintratypological variation between Italian and French is attested: only Italian makes use ofsatellite constructions. As for L2 productions, learners, especially the intermediate ones, provide a minimalresponse to the task (traitement prototypique, Watorek 1996) by encoding mainly Path, thebasic component of the task. At the intermediate level, there are no traces of the influenceof the L1 on spatial conceptualization in L2, instead attested by advanced English learnersof Italian L2 through the use of satellite constructions. The existence of similar structure inthe SL and TL and the positive evidence in the input seem to favour conceptual transfertfrom L1 to L2.
