Cílem práce je zanalyzovat reálný dopad vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie na oblast cestovního ruchu pomocí vybraných ukazatelů příjezdového cestovního ruchu. Práce se zabývá historií vztahů ČR a EU, evropskou legislativou ošetřující cestovní ruch a legislativními změnami, které souvisely se vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie. Pozornost je věnována i regionální politice EU a Společnému rozvojovému operačnímu programu. Diplomová práce analyzuje vybrané ukazatele příjezdového cestovního ruchu v období před a po vstupu ČR do Evropské unie.

Finanční analýza společnosti Stock Plzeň a.s. vychází z horizontálního a vertikálního rozboru účetních výkazů, pokračuje analýzou poměrových ukazatelů a bilančních pravidel a končí zhodnocením celkového finančního zdraví podniku souhrnnými indexy. Nemohli bychom ale vyřknout konečný ortel bez porovnání hodnot podniku a hodnotami odvětví, ve kterém působí. Cílem je tedy zhodnocení finanční situace této společnosti v letech 1999 až 2005 a doporučení možných opatření pro budoucí úspěšný rozvoj.

In my work I focus first on the theoretical part, which concerns itself with the financial analysis. I dealt with her description, a brief history of the order and importance, users of this financial analysis, sources of information for development and their limitations. Then I focused on the description of financial ratios, which are used in most businesses, and bankruptcy and secure prediction models. I then applied this knowledge in the practical part of this work, which I used data real-existing business of the Prague Water Supply and Sewerage and the aim of the work was so detailed assessment of the financial situation of the enterprise for the period 2005-2009 from the perspective of external users.

This thesis will deal with a current issue - euro adoption in the Czech Republic. The three neighboring countries of the Czech Republic have already adopted the euro. The Czech Republic lie under an obligation to adopt the euro and solve the arguments for and against early entry to the Euroarea at this time. The issue will be solved from the perspective of euro adoption in Slovakia. Both of the republics had the "same" default position seventeen years ago. Why is Slovakia the member of the Euroarea and why not the Czech Republic? Advantages and disadvantages of euro adoption in Slovakia will be the basis for the argumentation of the acceptance or rejection of the euro in the Czech Republic. The purpose of the thesis is to demonstrate the Czech readiness to adopt the euro from a purely economic point of view, even though this is a political decision. The adopted methods will be analysis and comparison of macroeconomic indicators, called the magic rectangle (GDP, inflation, balance of payments, unemployment rate). The thesis will evaluate the progress of these indicators in the key periods of the republics. These periods had an impact on the state of both economies and led to euro adoption in Slovakia and the postponement of euro adoption in the Czech Republic indefinitely (separation of both republics, preparations and entry into the European Union, preparations for euro adoption, the advent of financial crises, etc.). The main aim of this thesis is to answer the question "Why is Slovakia adopted the euro earlier than the Czech Republic?" and to confirm or to disprove hypothesis of Czech readiness to adopt the euro according to experience of Slovakia.

Financial analysis of the Lecebne lazne Bohdanec, a.s.

This diploma thesis includes a financial analysis of company Komerční pojišťovna, a.s. as prepared for the period 2005 - 2010. The aim of the thesis is theoretical and then practical processing of financial analysis of commercial insurance company. The theoretical part describes the different stages and methods of financial analysis. The practical part contains an analysis of the financial situation of the company and its comparison with industry.

This diploma thesis focuses on the processing of the analysis of the financial management of professional football clubs in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part deals with the financial reporting in the area of sport as a whole, further describes specifics of professional football clubs' financial management and serves as a starting point for the individual financial analysis of the clubs. Practical part contains the football clubs' analysis based on the previously explained theoretical knowledge. Ratio indicators and Altman Z -- score are used for the individual financial analysis. Furthermore, the whole economic branch is briefly summarized and identification of its characteristic features is provided. In conclusion, the results are discussed in detail and potential solution to the current situation is suggested.

This work deals with the debt of municipalities. The debt of municipalities is in the Czech Republic regulated and also monitored. Monitoring of the municipal debt is carried out by the Ministry of Finance, which uses system of information and monitoring indicators (SIMU). Evaluation, criticism and modification of the SIMU is the main output of this work. A new modified SIMU was created according to the evaluation of this system, and then it has been tested on Kutná Hora. The debt is also considered from the perspective of the size of the municipalities. The hypothesis of an influence of the municipality size (the size category according to CNB) on the amount of the municipal debt per capita in the period 2006 to 2010 was verified by statistical method called ANOVA. At the same time it was confirmed in three surveyed periods that although the large municipalities have a greater total value of the debt, in per capita are more indebted smaller communities.

The master thesis Financial analysis of the Travel agent Fischer, a.s. deals with the theory of financial analysis in its theoretical part. The topics such as source data or different methods of processing are discussed within this part. Moreover it deals with interpretation and assessment of results. In the practical part the analyzed company and sector is defined at first. The core of the work consists of applying theoretical knowledge and actual processing of external financial analysis of this travel agent. The calculated values are continuously interpreted and compared with competitors and the results achieved in the field of business. In conclusion, there is a summary of the results achieved, assessment of financial situation and appreciation of the company's position on the Czech market.

The implementation of financial analysis in Západočeské konzumní družstvo Sušice by using financial analysis methods and the implementation of intercompany comparison in the chosen cooperatives. The summary of theoretical knowledge from the area of financial analysis, which are primary focused on the cooperative's needs and on the intercompany comparison. The theoretical knowledge are after that applied on Západočeské konzumní družstvo Sušice. Based on the final values of chosen financial analysis indexes is made the appreciation of cooperative's financial situation. The last part of work is the intercompany comparison in the chosen cooperatives by using the given indexes.
