This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the social and economic development of the South Bohemian town Jindřichův Hradec. Thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the development of regions, regional policy, settlement theory and municipality development. In empirical part of thesis the town Jindřichův Hradec is characterised, and then the analysis of following social and economic indicators is made: population, economy, transport and technical infrastructure, social facilities and environment. Results of this analysis are used as basis for SWOT analysis, which shows strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the town. Based on this analysis the thesis evaluates whether town provides favourable conditions for the life of citizens and then future areas of development are suggested.

The first part of this master´s thesis includes on the theoretical interpretation of the principles of management of the company in terms of financial analysis.Financial analysis is an important tool for obtaining information about complex financial situation.The second part of master´s thesis helps to identify initially selected businesses that are focused on the processing and sale of dried meat in the Czech Republic. Than we go to the application of indicators in the theoretical part where the sub calculations are presented in the chart and possibly graphically along with commentary of the result achieved. Analysis of selected business entities is ensured on the basis of publicly available financial documents such as balance sheets,profit and loss account in five accounting periods,in the years 2010 -2014.Finally the thesis evaluates the achievements of individual indicators, which comprehend sively expresses the financial situation of the two selected businesses.

This thesis focuses on the statistical analysis of the financial indicators the ČSOB insurance company inc. in the years 1993 to 2015. First is the issue of insurance from a global point of view, where in the context of financial markets ranks, what kinds of insurance there are etc. Furthermore, it is established by specific information from the analysis of ČSOB insurance company for historical and even current. In the next section also examines the issue of financial analysis, both in general concept and specifically tailored to the field of insurance. In the analytical part of the thesis is carried out first, the financial analysis of statements of insurance companies on financial analysis of standard and special financial indicators for insurance companies. Follow the elemental characteristics of time series, indicators, profit, number of employees, the premiums, the share of the insurance market and insurance indemnities. In the next section is discussed the insurance market in terms of competition and comparison the development of the situation CSOB pojistovna with the leader of the insurance Česká pojišťovna further by Kooperativa and Generali insurance company in the areas of profit, the prescribed profit and the number of contracts. The specified income and the number of contracts in this case have separately divided into life and non-life insurance. At the conclusion of the analytical part of the work are made a prediction for 2016 and 2017.

Summary Thesis Comparison of Greek and Czech economies has been devied into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part was about gaining an important theoretical knowledge, which lead to a broader understanding of the issue. There were mentioned descriptive methods, describing various macroeconomic indicators, that were used to compare the two national economies. Alos, there were taking into consideration several main economical aspects, such as: gross domestic product, general unemployment rate, inflation rate, export, import and interest rates, and the national debt coefficient. The last chapters have been devoted to describe the Maastricht criteria and the process of involving euro in Czech Republic. The practical part included individual macroeconomic indicators, examined in terms of development of both economies, and subsequently with the help of statistical methods, made the comparison, that highlighted important analogies and differences. For deeper perception of the issue, there were used data of other European Union countries and countries that had eccepted euro in this thesis. And the last but not the least, the macroeconomic data evaluation has been set for the period from 2005 to 2015. Findings were based on the last part of the thesis, which obtained comparison of the development of both economies in the past, and also included the assumption for future development. Conclusion described the impact on Czech Republic economy, influenced by embracement of euro.

The thesis examines and evaluates the influence of the financing of receivables through factoring on the financial health of the recruitment agency Grafton Recruitment s.r.o. operating in the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the theoretical background of the company's assets and capital structure and with alternative sources of the company's funding focusing on factoring and it describes the financial analysis and the basic definition of the activity of recruitment agencies. The second part presents the above mentioned recruitment agency and applies theoretical knowledge to the data taken from financial statements starting by the fiscal year 2012 and ending by 2016, through selected methods of financial analysis. The next step is analyzing receivables according to the payment deadlines, which are processed from the company's internal accounting, then describing methods of use of factoring in the company and assessing its expenses. The final evaluation of the factoring effect on the company's financial health is based on results of horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and of profit and loss account, as well as on the indexes of profitability, activity, indebtedness and liquidity. The end includes aspects of the factoring impact on the rating of the company's financial health based on practical experiences.

The thesis is focused on the Cost Management in the Relation to Business Performance. The aim of this thesis is analysis of the management costs, their evaluation and suggest some key performance indicators. There are defined cost, calculation, performance and key performance indicators in this thesis. The practical part was elaborated on the basis of data from the company MOTOR JIKOV. There were used methods of observation, exploration and communication with the company. There is an analysis of costing of the filial company and there are some key indicators suggested for the company.

The diploma thesis dealt with the analysis, and evaluation of dairy performance and its correlation with reproductive rates of Holstein cattle. Milk cows which were kept in Měcholupy agricultural, Inc., Předslav were analyzed between 2013 - 2015. Th ecompany is located in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava). It breeds cattle for milk as well as meat, and pigs. The company management is committed to achieve good levels of milk production. It pays constant attention to this issue, so the average performance has risen since 2013 from 8 726 kilograms of milk to 9 093 kg of milk per cow in 2015. Cows on the 4th and higher lactation reached the highest performance in 2015 9 649 kg of milk. As for the European Union who abolished milk quotas in 2015 and the situation on the milk market is still complicated by banning exports of milk powder to Russia (Russian annexation of the Crimea), the management´s effort has been to produce milk at the lowest possible cost. They keep trying to limit culling as much as possible, so that they solve the problem of mastitis and reproduction at the highest level. Each cow which is treated has an individual approach, as well as the animal husbandry has specific requirements for animal breeding company in terms of quality seed. The results showed that milk cows with other health problems were eliminated the most (38.6% per year from 2013 to 2015) and also the ones with metabolism disorders and problems with hooves. The mastitis issue is dealt with very effectively, so that it is not one of the major problems of the herd (7.24 % for 2013 -2015). Management seeks to eliminate the problem milk cow in the lowest age and conversely on contrary if the animal is healthy, they try to keep it in the herd as long as possible, because such an animal has the greatest economic effect. Reproductive rateis not too satisfactory, but the management has no interest in hormonal control of reproduction. Active search of rutting cows is preferred by nursing staff. They cooperate actively with animal breeders and require a delivery of the insemination doses according to their requirements for each for each cow

The aim of this thesis was to compare the indicators of egg production of hens which are bred for production of consumable eggs i.e. Hy-Line Brown and Hy-Line White in selected farms. Selected parameters of egg production were evaluated during 12-months-laying cycle. In the selected farm during the monitored period was achieved the intensity of laying 86,8 %, laying at the initial state 26.5 eggs, number of eggs included in first quality class 96.4%, mortality of egg layer 1.06%, consumption of compound feed per 1 egg 130.0 g and consumption of compound feed per 1 feeding day 110.8 g. Hy-Line Brown showed higher intensity of laying (88,0 %, respectively 85,2 %), laying at the initial state 26.7 eggs, respectively 26.1 eggs, lower consumption of compound feed 128.7 g, respectively 133.2 g. Hy-Line White showed a statistically significant higher proportion of eggs included in the first quality (97.3%, respectively 85.4%), statistically significant lower mortality (0.49% and 1.51%) and statistically significantly lower consumption mixtures per 1 egg (100.7, respectively 114.9 g).

The concept is created with limitations imposed by related laws and standards in mind.The problem of an usage and a placement is discussed from both local (Czech Republic) and a global perspective in the first part of the thesis.The second part contains the study itself, which is concerned with specification of a minimal space and a layout based on the standards and examples of existing buildings.The study is then elaborated on into an accompanying documentation for few selected variants.Moreover the thesis includes a thermal study of the design of a frame structure and an estimation of an construction cost based on economic indicators.The last part of the thesis provides a comparison of proposed design variants while pointing out it's strengths and weaknesses.

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to ascertain the level of profitability from fish processing (canning) using the company MYROC Food Processing Company as a case study from 2005 to 2008. The results of the work were done using some financial statements from the company. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first part is the theoretical part which describes the fishing industry in Ghana and the benefits of fish processing, concept of cost and benefit analysis, sensitivity analysis and concept of financial analysis. The second part is the practical part where, the cost-benefit analysis, sensitivity analysis and some financial ratios were used. There is also the bankruptcy model that is used in predicting financial distress. In the conclusion, there are some recommendations for improving the financial situation of the company.
