This diploma thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company. The main attention is paid to elementary methods, mainly to analysis of balance, list of profits and loss, financial ratios and their systems. These methods are used for financial analysis of the pharmacy At the company. On the basis of findings, this diploma thesis includes proposals for improvement and evalutation of the contributions of these proposals for the company.

In my diploma thesis I try to solve the problems of financial analysis and its utilization in the company. On the basis of the accounting dates from years 2005 to 2007 I evaluate the financial situation and focus on the looking for effective function of company in the following years with solution of its weak points.

The aim of this master’s thesis is focus to assess the effectiveness and prosperity of a selected company using the method of financial analysis. Based on the financial analysis, the measures were suggested that will help improve the financial situation of the company.

The theme of my thesis “Use of accounting dates and statements for company management” is definining a way of using accounting data and evaluate the company from the manager point of view. This study concentrates on evaluating of current financial and economic situation of the company by means of specific procedures and methods and deals with the accounting statements balance sheet and profit and loss account which provides important indicators e.g., sources of financing, structure of properties, profitability, liquidity etc. The indicating instruments are represented in tabular form, graphs and schemes.

This thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company PANAV, a.s Senice na Hané in the years 2005-2007. My thesis comprises four parts-evaluation of the present state of the problems, tehoretical base, the analysis of the current situation of the company and its improvement suggestions. I achieved my aim through the analysis of the general and subject neighbourhood and trough the teoretical konowledge from literature. I used selected methods ot the financial analysis. The result of the economic health check of the PANAV, a.s. is the basis for its improvement suggesitons. It is placed in the fourth part of my thesis.

This master`s thesis assess the financial health of the company in 2004-2007 with using suitable methods of the financial analysis. It also suggests convenient proposals for strengthen financial situation of the company.

The object of this thesis is an introduction to the basic aspects conncted with company establishment including maketing strategy and usage of this information for analysis of intended establishment of A-E driving shool. It brings out the future mission, targets and strategy including financial figures achieved during the first business year, i.g. balance sheet at the beginning and at the end of the year, costs and revenues overview, company outcome and financial analysis measurements.

The subject of this thesis is application of methods and procedures of financial analysis focused on financial health. The first part focuses on financial analysis, data preparation and definition of applied financial indicators in theoretical level. The second part sets out the chosen company and its present position. These theoretical pieces of knowledge are applied to the real situation by valuation of the concrete company in the last part of this thesis. The overall rating and recommendations follows.

The objective of this master´s thesis is evaluation of the financial situation and the efficiency of a company. The theoretical part is focused on the elementary methods of the financial analysis and the Economic Value Added as an efficiency measure. This theory is then applied to a particular company. The practical part contains calculation of selected ratios of the financial analysis and the Economic Value Added. The entire financial situation of the company is evaluated on the basis of results, included recommendation of appropriate deficiencies.
