This thesis discusses informatik systems in companies, their technologies and new trends in hardware domain, used to simplify, speed up and streamline business processes. Consequently thesis deals with the extension of an information system in a real environment, aimed to getting more detailed data, processing and subsequent evaluation to adjustable reports.

This thesis deals with the evaluation of suppliers of GMA Stanztechnik models using fuzzy logic The main part consists of proposals to address the evaluation of suppliers. Decision models are created in MS Excel and Matlab. Another part deals with the comparison of the results of both programs and comparison of current and potential suppliers.

The thesis deals with the evaluation of investments in intangible fixed assets. The company VIKI, spol. s.r.o. is interested in a new storage space acquisition, and therefore the main objective is to choose the best offer by using fuzzy logic. Evaluation is done in Excel, particularly in the Visual Basic environment and in MATLAB. The output of the thesis is an easy to use form that can be reused for other possible offers.

This Diploma thesis describes the design & development of a VBA application in Microsoft Excel. The goal of this thesis is to design & create a corporate VBA application for IBM that will help with the tracking of data from financial documents from suppliers. The application will generate summaries and insights, which will enable filtering, and will have the option to prepare reports for project managers and leadership.

Charvát, O. The automation import of receipt cards to ES Pohoda. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of application to auto-mation import to ES Pohoda. In the theoretical part is introduced automation, economic system Pohoda and company for which the solution was processed. The thesis also analyses the current state of the issue within the company and outside. The practical part of the thesis deals with requirements analysis, design, imple-mentation and testing of the application. In this part are closer introduced the technologies used in the development. In the conclusion of the thesis is appli-cation critically assessed and possible improvements are suggested.

This thesis is about making catering information system. "Only" service point part has been realized, because of huge size of whole system. This WinForm application is based on internal 3-layer architecture. From outer perspective, there are only two  layers - client one and server one. Besides customizing bill of fare, service point part also provides efficient work with touch screens, which are used for food output. Strong emphasis lay on implemented user interface, stability and also solving problems like offline functionality

Employees today have necessary daily tasks that do not require human handling. The objective is to investigate two processes if they are suitable for automation as well as to create and evaluate a prototype. The goals are to analyze the process, examine appropriate tools for automation, compare the tools, create and evaluate prototype, and perform an acceptance test. Robotic Process Automation is about automating tasks that humans have to do. Good candidates for automation are time-consuming, repetitive, rule-based tasks, prone to human er- rors with clear goals and expectations. The preliminary study was conducted in the form of a literature study of web-based sources, and the analysis was done by breaking down the process in different parts. The comparison was carried out by investigating the features of these tools. The prototype was created on Windows in UiPath tools and the robot will work on Internet Explorer and Excel, which will have a macro written in Visual Basic for Applications. The client will look at the criteria given and also on the prototype output and provide a subjective response. UiPath, Workfusion, and Selenium test programs were created. The prototype automatically logs on to Visma PX by entering username and password. Then it navigates, searches for an assignment and retrieves the data available. Indata is filtered and typed into Excel for each activity and employee. Finally, a macro creates graphs. Time tests show that UiPath is significantly more optimized and faster at completing the test programs. Slutligen körs ett makro som skapar grafer. Tidstesterna visar att UiPath är betydligt mer optimerad och snabbare på att slutföra testprogrammen. Jämförelserna visar att UiPath har starka fördelar med sitt verktyg.

Human disturbance as the main factor influencing the habitat of brown bear (Ursus arctos) has occurred frequently with the development of human society. How to reduce and prevent the conflict between human and brown bears is considered as an important question for brown bear conservation, management and public safety. Sånfjället National Park has one of the densest bear populations in Sweden. Many tourists are attracted to visit bears each year. Through this study, the most possibility brown bear denning habitat in Sånfjället National Park was determined by using Multi-Criteria Analysis. A customized habitat distribution map generator was programmed within the Microsoft Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA) in ArcGIS. Three themes were designed in the map generator, i.e., the human impact emphasis weighted, neutral weighted themes and customized weighted theme. Customized weighted theme was produced for user discovering denning habitat results with user-defined weights. Comparing the final maps generated from the human impact emphasis weighted and neutral weighted themes, human influence concentrated in the south area of the National Park. The trails near Sveduterget should be changed to avoid human disturbance in the bear denning period.

<p>To be more competitive in the market, many companies are trying to speed up the quotation process and quote more attractive prices. Therefore, they have identified a need for support in the quotation process in order to reduce the quotation lead-time and ensure a higher level of accuracy in the cost estimations. The Quotation Calculator, an application program, has been developed as part of the degree thesis which was carried out at AB Norrahammars Mekaniska Verkstad, NMW 2006/07. This Quotation Calculator can be operated to calculate the material and manufacturing costs of a new product.</p><p>NMW has recently acquired licenses for CATIA V5, Dassault Systems, for the purpose of making process planning and NC-programming more efficient. NMW wants to generate the data needed from the machining module for the cost calculations. Hence this project was initiated in order to extract data from CATIA V5 for further use in Quotation Calculator or other computer system in NMW.</p><p>This work has resulted in a system developed with a common hosted programming language to extract and transfer information. The system retrieves model geometry from CAD and information on process planning from CAM, then matches the information in the application for the purpose of cost estimation. The system once developed, is supposed to be used for every new product. For this approach, the relationship of the data from CATIA V5 and the Quotation Calculator has been analyzed.</p><p>Within this thesis, the focus is on production cost estimation. The method used here is programming in Visual Basic Editor to extract information from the machining module in CATIA V5 and then import them to Microsoft Excel. With standard operations, tables of data and several inputs, the cost calculation and hence the quotation process can be automatically implemented. This work has been generated with the Quotation Calculator. With the correct input data to process planning and this new quotation system, the machining time and the costs can be estimated more accurately and easier. The time and cost information is made available for decision making. As a result, the lead time for the quotation process will be shortened and a relatively more attractive price can be quoted to the customers.</p>
