Vodičková, Kamila January 2015 (has links)
Title: EMG analysis of the influence of the water environment on walking in the elderly Objectives: The main objective of this master thesis is to determine the degree of activation of selected muscles during walking on land and in water environment by using surface electromyography. The next component objective is to determine and compare dynamic co-contraction level of low extremity muscles during walking on land and in water. Methods: It is a pilot study which was attended by 5 participants. The average age of the research group was 67,2 years and was represented 3 men and 2 women. Activity of m. tibialis anterior, m. gastrocnemius, m. rectus femoris, m. biceps femoris and mm. erectores spinae in the level of ThL transition was recorded during walking on land and in water environment. EMG signal has been adjusted, analyzed and after that normalized EMG signal to MVC was compared in both environments. The records were compared both intraindividually and interindividually. At the end dynamic co-contraction level of selected muscles was evaluated and compared during gait in both environments. Results: Electromyographic analysis revealed that during walking in aquatic environment were analyzed muscles involved with less extent than during walking on land. Co-contraction level was lower in low...

Určení teploty vodní hladiny z družicových dat. / Skin surface water temperatures determination in selected lakes and reservoirs from satellite data

Formánek, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
LAKE SURFACE TEMPERATURE DETERMINED BY SATELLITE IMAGES Abstract The aim of this master thesis is to create a method to determine surface temperature of water in lake Osoyoos (LSWT - Lake Surface Water Temperature). It is necessary to know this temperature in order to make easier decisions in a paradigm of global warming processes. Thanks to LSWT it is possible to make a timeline visualisation of temperature development in years. The first chapter deals with a physical definition of how to get thermal information - the basis of remote thermal sensing is measuring of radiance intensity and it's transformation to brightness temperature. This radiation is not only influenced by atmospheric properties but also by local climatic and meteorological conditions, but it is also influenced by the relief. The thesis seeks to create a method for calculating surface temperature of lake Osoyoos located at Canadian-American border. This calculation is based on data provided by ASTER using a split-window method. The method works with the differences in bands of sensing in order to remove atmospheric influences. This thesis contains several charts, graphs and pictures. The final result of this paper is a map of distribution of lake surface water temperatures. Keywords: Thermal remote sensing, land surface temperature, ASTER, TIR

Biotopové mapování NPP Skalická Morávka jako podklad pro monitoring regenerace křídlatky po plošném zásahu herbicidem

Blahuta, Jaroslav January 2014 (has links)
Jaroslav Blahuta: Habitat mapping NPP Skalická Morávka as a basis for monitoring regeneration Reynoutria spp. printed after the intervention of the herbicide. The aim of this thesis was to map the habitats of the Catalogue of habitats (Culek et al., 2010) in the NPP Skalická Morávka and their level of invasion Reynoutria spp. as a basis for monitoring areal intervention herbicide. NPP is the subject of the protection of the natural stretch of the river Morávka in gravel sediments with their characteristic communities. These communities are bound occurrence of rare and endangered species (for example Myricaria germanica). Territory NPP was interspersed with square nets (50 x 50 m), which contained 454 nodes. At every point was made simplified the occurrence and registration of a particular species, found coverage representativeness, degree of degradation and the presence of dead wood. Based on these characteristics was to characterize habitats with regard to the level of invasion of neophytes. Overall the 454 mapping points to characterize habitat 13 by the concept of Culek et al. (2010). The percentage of each habitat is as follows: L2.2 (54,75 %), L2.4 (0,66 %), L3.2 (3,09 %), K2.2 (11,92 %), M1.4 (0,22 %), M4.1 (9,27 %), M4.2 (0,22 %), X7A (5,52 %), X7B (10,82 %), X12A (0,66 %), X12B (0,22 %), V4B (2,21 %) and T1.1 (0,5%). The overall level of invasion NPP Reynoutria spp. is 61 %. The highest abundances reached in natural habitats L2.2 (61 %), K2.2 (55 %) and M1.4 (52 %). Invasion of Impatiens glandulifera is 26 %. The highest abundances stood near the river (habitat K2.2, M1.4 and X7B). In terms of representativeness was most often to characterize transitional habitats with 82.9 % of the mapping points. According to the degree of degradation was 22 % of the nodes proved negative factor (most often the occurrence of neophytes, or illegal dumps).Dead wood is found only 6 % of the territory. The work represents a good basis for future monitoring and management optimization.

Hodnocení erodibility vybraných hlavních půdních jednotek (BPEJ) s využitím ke specifikaci faktoru erodovatelnosti v rámci RUSLE

Rosíková, Jana January 2014 (has links)
The soil erosion is one of the most important factor which brings about modification of landscape. Presently, there is more than half of the agricultural land resources endangered in the Czech Republic, in particular by the water erosion. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate susceptibility of selected soil units to the water erosion by force of erodibility factor (K-factor) which is one of the input parameter of Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE). Seven types of soil appearing at agricultural land at the South surroundings of town Brno were selected for the pedological exploration and following determining of the K-factor. On the basis of K-factor figures a map depicting variability of the area from view diversity of susceptibility to the water erosion was made. Soil slaking is closely connected to the soil erosion which characterize the soil from the view of crumbling of soil aggregates and inlay of the soil surface. The susceptibility of the selected soil types to destruction of the soil structure was assessed in this thesis. Further, the task of comparison between present attributes of the soil and the data of Complex exploration agricultural land, which were the base of evaluating dynamic of the development of soil environment, is dealt.

Revize pasportů DVT ve správě VLS ČR, s.p., divize Plumlov, LS Rychtářov

Zajícová, Zuzana January 2014 (has links)
The thesis deals with inventory and review previously created inventories on small watercourses in properties found in the cadastral areas of communes Doubrava u Březiny Krásensko, Podomí, Ruprechtov and Rychtářov that are managed by state enterprise Vojenské lesy a statky, Divizion Plumlov. The aim of inventory consists of field inspections on watercourses, targeting position of aimed points, description of troughs current state or description of objects and noticing its fundamental technical parameters. The inventory revision compares current state of technical objects to its previous state and evaluates implemented modifications. In this way 34 small watercourses belonging to the basin of significant small watercourse Malá Haná were inventoried. Its total length is 41.3 km on the area of 40.9 km2. Based on the results it is claimed these watercourses are in good condition, their troughs have been only minimally modified. The most common problem is non-functional blocked culverts that transfer forest paths across the watercourses. The second phenomenon occurring very often is bank ripping which threatens bodies of forest paths in many cases. It was recommended to stabilize these stressed spots in the proposals. Main purpose of this thesis is to become essential documentation for decisions and planning actions in the field of watercourses management in the aimed area.
