Sušení organických materiálů / Drying of the organic materials

Fialová, Gabriela January 2018 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with the general characteristics of drying processes, types of moisture and bonds in the material. The following describes the drying process and selected drying equipment. It also includes a chapter on proteins, their changes in the air with increasing temperature. This thesis also describes denaturation of proteins as well as activity of water and it‘s dependence on microbial reactions in food. The practical part is focused on experimental measurement of the drying curves of crushed larvae, their construction and subsequent evaluation. The last part is devoted to measuring the activity of water samples of crushed larvae of different moisture.

Politika vody / Water Politics

Dvořáková, Dana Unknown Date (has links)
The work is aimed at familiarizing the audience with the problems of water in the Czech Republic and its distribution within the landscape. However, its character, which approaches to documentary work, doesn´t explicitly describe the problem, but rather attempts to visualize it and give the viewer space for his own imagination. The work draws in contrast the examples of fine functional interventions in the landscape with examples of monstrous concrete structures - dams. It points to problematic places and tries to convey to the viewer the current issue not only in the chosen location. The main thing is the lyrical performance, which evokes not only a video but also the sound part and the narrative that explains the whole problem. The video is not purely informative, its specificity is also focused on the enjoyment of the viewer. He plays with documentary techniques but does not use them as a priority. The shots are deliberately chosen so that the concrete buildings look monumental and have their seriousness. The background of the shots also shows the time of their creation. This element is supposed to be critical and is supposed to be opposed to studies that use old plans to build new water reservoirs that do not give space for a more efficient solution. The work also touches on the overproduction and issues of today's modern agriculture.

Návrh úpravy toků s přihlédnutím k protipovodňové ochraně a revitalizaci / River regulation with flood protection and revitalization

Kadrnoška, Jakub January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the design of the flow adjustment, taking into account the flood protection and revitalization of the Leskava river. The first step is creating a computing model of a river section using the programme HEC_RAS. Based on results and the course, there is an adjustment proposed and the prevention of infiltrations in the intravilan.

Matematické modelování vln na vodní hladině / Mathematical Modelling of Surface Water Waves

Rauš, Michal January 2018 (has links)

Detekce vsakování vody do zemin injektovaných jíly metodou EIS / Detection of water infiltration into soils injected by clays using EIS method

Marek, Ondřej January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the study of water infiltration into soil samples with various types of clay. The soil matrix was represented by homogeneous sand; clay samples were supplied by LB Minerals, Ltd. Soil analysis with injected clays was focused on sealing ability of examined clays for possible use in construction practice for the construction of sealing objects. Electric impedance spectrometry (EIS) measuring system was used to monitor the infiltration process. The measurement was carried out by a measuring apparatus made by the solution of the international project E! 7614 of applied research in the EUREKA program within its sustainability.

Projektování systémů přenosu a využití tepla z Termokompostu / Design of heat transfer and recovery systems for Thermocompost

Dokoupilová, Bára January 2020 (has links)
The following master’s thesis examines the use of biothermal energy released during the decomposition process of composting. The aim of this thesis is to explain the heat generation principles of composting, to summarize its consumption possibilities, and to design a suitable use of the source for the demands of a real building. First, the theoretical framework compares various options of the biomass utilization. It then describes the biochemical course of organic matter decomposition, and conceptualizes the term thermocompost as well as different methods of heat extraction. Subsequently, it lists ways of applying this technology in practice. Second, the empirical part uses the findings to propose a compost pile installation, and its connection to the current heating and hot water system in Ecocentre Karpaty in Nová Lhota, Hodonín. Due to the low-temperature nature of the source and the mode of usage of the building, it is recommended to accumulate the heat generated in the hot water storage tank. The preheating of potable water is considered as its primary benefit. In case of sufficiently high temperature of the thermocompost, the design also includes the possibility of preheating of heating water. In conclusion, the thesis evaluates the financial costs of the project and determines the financial savings. These have – due to the low frequency of the building usage and the consumption of hot water reach – relatively low values.

Vliv prostředí na fotokatalytické vlastnosti oxidů mědi / Effect of environment on the photocatalytic properties of copper oxides

Šmatlo, Filip January 2021 (has links)

Odstraňování mikropolutantů při úpravě pitné vody / Removal of micropolutants in drinking water treatment

Hambálková, Kateřina January 2008 (has links)
Intrusion of pharmaceuticals into surface and drinking water is nowadays a problem, that is solved all over the world. This diploma thesis is focused on the removal of pharmaceuticals from water by coagulation. The efficiency of two coagulant agents - chitosan and ferric sulphate was compared. For comparison was used adsorption on a granular-activated-carbon. Efficiency of removal was investigated by UV-VIS spectrophotometer and HPLC.

Využití spektrofotometrie pro stanovení reziduí léčiv ve vodách / Application of spectrophotometry for determination of drug residua in waters

Čapka, Lukáš January 2008 (has links)
Residua of pharmaceuticals represent biologically active compounds which can interfere with some purification processes in WWTP. Control laboratories of many WWTP and water works are equipped with UV-VIS spectrophotometers. Therefore, the main goal of this thesis was the elaboration of the method for the determination of selected drugs in water based on the VIS spectrophotometry.

Studium sezónních změn jakosti vody ve vírské nádrži / Study of seasonal changes of water quality in Vír reservoir

Navrátilová, Martina January 2008 (has links)
Thesis deals with measuring of chosen indicators of water quality in Vír reservoir (temperature, pH, colour, turbidity, fluorescence of fykocyanin, concentration of chlorofyl-a, pheopigments, microcystin-LR, orthophosphates, nitrates, etc.). Samples were taken from the sampling profiles 10, 30 a 50 metres from absolute level and in the season from May to October was direct in reservoir measured a vertical profile by a multifunction sonde YSI 6600.
