The diploma thesis looks into literary legends of the Sedlčany and its closest area which is defined by cultural and geographical demarcation of the region. The four-volume Legends of Sedlčany area by regional author Karel Bazal are understood as the essential material of the thesis. The diploma thesis also aims to briefly summarize life and work of this author as well as to place him to literary context of the period. Focus will be paid to interpretation of characters as well as to interpretation of legends which will be based on assorted heuristic material. The diploma thesis will not only use theory of regional literature and genologic demarcation of legends, but it will also include photos of chosen places in Sedlčany area and design of project based learning based on interdisciplinary relations (prepared for secondary school class).

This diploma thesis focuses on project teaching method in "civic education" classes, which are focused on history. The contemporary calls for the elimination of fact and positive approach to teaching are encouraged by project teaching method. Project teaching method organises itself in a new way, so the pupils do not have to listen to a lecture, watch demonstrations, remember the information and finally reproduce the received and remembered information. The thesis is divided into two parts, of which the first one is analytical and concerns itself with the essence of project teaching method and its history and use in "civic education" classes. The author is explains how an excursion should look like and how to organise it. An important part of the analytic part is the history of the Czech nazi work-camp called Terezin. In the second practical part, the author emphasises the actual in-class use of the previous findings. The author also incorporates the topic of holocaust into curriculums of certain schools and grades. Finally an excursion which particular schools undertook is described and evaluated via a quantitative questionnaire-based research.

This diploma thesis aims to ascertain on the basis of the qualitative research how are tablet computers used in geography lessons, what positive and negative aspects are found and if using of the tablet computers can influence a conception of geography lessons. The main aim is achieved by doing qualitative interviews with lower secondary teachers of geography. To achieve the main aim it as initially necessary to achieve artial aims. Firstly, the term modern technology was defined. Afterwards, the specific technology which will be examined in this diploma thesis in relation to a change the way of teaching was described. The description of pros and cons of utilization of tablet computers in classes was used in the creation of the scenario for the interview. Each teacher can influence teaching with his own approach as well as his attitude, which is involved in the preparation of lessons and the choice of using tablet computers. Essential partial aim is to describe the qualitative research after which the questionnaire could be created and interviews performed and evaluated. Religion as Part of School Education in Various European Countries The thesis in its first part describes the state of religious situation in Europe, it deals with the history of gradual secularisation of Europe, and it goes through the current state of the society as it regards the religion in social terms. The first part of the thesis is concluded by a summary of the theoretical knowledge on religious situation in Europe as far as the teaching of religion is concerned. The second part of the thesis concentrates on teaching religion in individual European states. It is based on an empirical study conducted in sixteen European states by H.G. Ziebertz called: "How Teachers in Europe Teach Religion". The thesis presents the results of the study and concludes them into general conclusions. It analyses the current state of teaching religion in the Czech Republic in more details with respect to general social climate there.

Analysis of selected preconceptions in the technical education of primary school class 5's. The theoretical part is focused on the pupils' conception of schooling, constructivist didactics and its significance for education, the content of technical education in primary schools and methods of collecting and evaluating quantitative and qualitative diagnoses with a focus on the issue. 0 The practical part deals with detecting the level the surveyed respondents structualised the concepts in terms of teaching, in part at the level of affective perception and also in terms of cognitive perception. A cognitive questionnaire in the form of unfinished sentences, a scale questionnaire for the affective level of perception and cognitive maps were used. The research was done with the participation of students from the 5th grade elementary school classes at Suchdol nad Lužnicí, Horní Stropnice and Chlum u Třeboně, identified using the results of the research questionnaire. Results were obtained by processing the qualitative and quantitative points with regard to my future profession.

The thesis is focused on creativity development of pupils in older school age in the work of teachers. First part of thesis acquainted with theory of creativity and explain basic concepts about creativity development and creative teaching in the work of teacher. The aim of this thesis is to find out the form, how teachers develop pupils' creativity in their work and how the teachers think about creativity teaching. The practical part contains a pilot study survey and four case studies implemented within the main research. Emphasis is placed on observing teaching activities and subsequent interviews with teachers about teaching course. Results showed, that teachers are able to use creativity teaching. However, there are still several options, how to improve the quality of creativity teaching. We suggested specific recomendations in the conclusion, how to improve the quality of creativity teaching. My thesis "Geography teaching of students with a specific learning disabilities" is concerned with specific learning disabilities related to lessons of Geography. It presents the ways of manifestation of the issue in educational process and, subsequently, the effective solutions in a form of recommendations usable in lessons of Geography. The practical part is based on the assumption of displays of certain learning disabilities that may occur in lessons of Geography. The ways how the disabilities may be displayed were estimated through studying available literature in question. Based on the above Frame Education Programme for Elementary Education was analysed. Certain proposals have been worked out for the items that seem to be problematic for pupils with dyslexia and dyscalculia. The proposals are presented in a common format usual in Geography lessons and, subsequently, in adjusted format to be checked if it is easier to understand to the corresponding pupil's. The practical part contains adapted tasks, pupils work description in Geography lessons, and analysis of results. The results represent comparing success rates of both the versions, and potential additional information acquired from pupils.
