The presented theoretical and project diploma thesis was aimed at developing an art project named Head up, during the Art Education lessons in the first level of elementary school. It is structured in two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part provides a general insight into the problems of the sky and the cloud in visual arts and is followed by the project part which consists in eight proposed art lessons, description of the compositions and the didactic analysis of individual lessons. The diploma thesis is followed with pictorial annexes related to the theoretical part, photo documentation of lessons and proposed structured preparation.

The content of the thesis consists of a description of constructivist teaching of the topic of percentage in the primary school, that is the teaching in which not the teacher, but the pupil is in the center. The principles of constructivist teaching and the learning process in terms of the theory of generic models are described on the basis of literature. In accordance with these principles, a number of textbooks have been analyzed, in which the the topic of percentage is introduced, and experimental teaching based on the above principles has been prepared. Experimental teaching was realized in two classes of the 7th grade with a different experience with the teaching of mathematics in their 6th grade. The main goal of the work was to prepare, implement, describe and evaluate the teaching of percentage based on pupils' activity and their individual discovery. The lessons have been described and evaluated on the basis of audio recordings, notes from the lessons, records of pupilss solutions, interviews, notes and interviews with a teacher assistant, pre-tests and post-tests. The lessons were analyzed mainly in terms of pupils' involvement in teaching, their discoveries and knowledge acquisition, including its anchoring in the knowledge structure. The theoretical part describes inquiry-based teaching, defines the educational subject of geography and it elaborates the connections with the generally educational programme the Primary education. The main part of the diploma thesis introduces created subjects of the teaching activities using the inquiry-based teaching of geography at the secondary school with the focus on the local region SO ORP Jindřichův Hradec. The submitted subjects of the teaching activities in socio-geographical region are thematically dedicated to transport, the quality of life and tourism, while the physically-geographical regions analyze the themes of meteorology and hydrology. The thesis includes the feedback on real created subjects of teaching activities. The attachment contains the worksheets related to the above mentioned activities.

This diploma thesis deals with the arthropod strain as a suitable taxon model in learning about the nature at the first grade of a primary school. The methodological analysis of using the animal strain explains the reasons why the arthropods are used in teaching natural science lessons and provides specific characteristics and manifestations of living organisms, which are possible to be demonstrated on it. The second part of the literature review presents the status of learning about the nature according to the Framework educational program and representation of arthropods in czech textbooks of the natural sciences. The thesis is a collection of newly created exercises for a first degree pupils of primary education, using the selected representatives of arthropods. These tasks use the methods of the direct study of nature and the elements of contemporary popular research-oriented teaching.

(in English): The master's thesis deals with the use of dramapedagogy in grammar teaching in Czech for foreigners. The issue is explored through a pilot study focusing on the instruction of past tense in a university course in Germany. For the purpose of the study, the drama grammar method, which combines explicit grammar exploration and acting in communication situations has been modified. Firstly, the paper specifies the chosen grammatical structure didactically. Secondly, the options of using dramapedagogy in foreign language teaching are introduced. The focus lies on the methods theatre pedagogy (metoda jevištního tvaru) and drama grammar. The presented pilot study examines three research questions (referred to as VO). According to VO1, subjects taught through the drama grammar method will achieve better results in grammar. VO2 verifies if applying dramapedagogy influences the consolidation of student's linguistic performance in a long-term perspective. VO3 expects that using dramapedagogy will increase student's motivation.

The thesis deals with the art of the modern Czech painter and graphic artist Josef Váchal and follows up its use in creative activities at primary school. The theoretical part is devoted to a detailed analysis of Váchal artistic development and brief psychological study of his personality. It also reflects the creation of other artists, whose artistic expression tends to be close to Váchal works. In fine the thesis follows the possibilities of use of artistic work in art education at the elementary school. The practical part introduce the art education project, inspired by works of Josef Váchal, and documents its complex realization at the elementrary school in Borové Lady with the final reflection.
