Interpretace výskytu ztrát míče v basketbalu mládeže v České republice / Interpretation of violations and offesive fouls in the youth basketbal

Musil, Jan January 2019 (has links)
Title: Interpretation of the occurence turnovers in youth basketbal in Czech republic. Objectives: Our goal is to assess the degree forced and unforced turnovers in basketball matches in two age categories. Our assumption is that the in the higher category, the occurrance of unforced turnovers is lower. Methods: Method of work is indirect observation of videos, analysis and creation of quantitative research on teams category U15 and U19, then a detailed analysis of the number and type of turnovers of individual categories and matches follows. Results: We found that younger category reached a larger number of unforced turnovers and forced turnovers too. Turnovers were caused primarily from the mistakes of the players. Both categories reached more forced turnovers. The possible solution is emphasis on the development of individual game performance in practice. Keywords: youth basketball, team game performance, quantitative analysis, turnovers

Seeing the court: investigating outcomes, processes and perspectives in basketball as a positive youth development context

Harrist, Christopher J. 2009 December 1900 (has links)
Researchers have found that 40 to 50 percent of youth's time can be classified as free or residual, which yields great opportunities for their participation in leisure and recreation activities. When all structured voluntary activities available to youth are considered, the greatest amount of time is spent participating in youth sports. Organized sports participation has been associated with positive developmental outcomes (e.g., healthier lifestyle; increases in self-efficacy; enhanced academic achievement); however, not all experiences are positive. Research has found that the context of the activity contributes significantly to participation being associated with positive or negative outcomes. Understanding important contextual elements related to sports participation, particularly as viewed by key stakeholders (e.g., coaches and players), is important in developing quality experiences that promote beneficial growth. The purpose of this study was to explore the potential of youth basketball as a positive developmental context. More specifically, it examined: (1) the outcomes associated with participation as identified by coaches of youth sport select teams; (2) the methods used by coaches to promote positive development; (3) the perceptions of the players related to coaching intentions and behaviors; and (4) the fidelity with which coaches carry out their identified coaching methods in practices and games. Findings indicated that coaches and players were able to accurately identify desired goals and methodologies along three domains: (1) player improvement; (2) development of life skills; and (3) enjoying the playing experience. One outcome theme showing inconsistency across the respondent groups was the identification of enjoying the playing experience, which was not identified by the player group. This inconsistency, however, did not show up when the respondents were identifying methodological approaches. Further analysis of sub-themes indicated considerable variation between coach and player responses. In addition, data obtained through observation corroborated the major thematic findings; however, when discrepancies existed the data revealed closer association to player responses. Player's also offered insight regarding personal goals and positive developmental outcomes they attributed to participation. Observational data also confirmed a portion of coach and player identified methodologies, but new approaches were also discovered.

Parengiamųjų veiksmų įtaka jaunųjų krepšininkų baudų metimo tikslumui / Youth basketball player's preparatory action's influence on free throws accuracy

Čerkauskas, Kęstas 10 September 2013 (has links)
Tyrimo problema. Judesio tikslumas daug priklauso nuo pasirengimo atlikti veiksmą – parengiamosios fazės. Nustatyta, kad įgudusių krepšininkų parengiamieji judesiai, veiksmai teigiamai veikia baudos metimų tikslumą, tačiau nėra aišku kaip šie judesiai, veiksmai veikia pradedančiųjų krepšininkų metimų tikslumą. Tyrimo objektas: jaunųjų krepšininkų baudos metimų tikslumas. Hipotezė. Mėnesio trukmės mokymas parengiamųjų judesių, veiksmų ir jų sekos atliekant baudos metimą pagal Amberry (1996) metodiką turės teigiamos įtakos baudos metimų tikslumui. Tyrimo tikslas. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The problem of research: Movement precision a lot depends on the preparation to perform an action-the preparation phase. It was found that skilled player’s preparatory movements, positively affect the accuracy of free throws, but it is not clear how these movements’ effect on beginner’s basketball player’s shot accuracy. The research object: youth basketball player’s free throws accuracy. Hypothesis. A month-long training of preparatory movements, actions and their sequencing before performing a free throw according to Amberry (1996) methodology will have a positive effect on the accuracy of free throws. Aim of the study. To identify and assess the preparatory movements, actions and their sequencing effect on youth basketball player’s free-throw accuracy. Objectives of the research: 1. Identify and assess youth basketball player’s free throw accuracy before and after experiment. 2. Identify ongoing preparatory movements and actions before performing a free throw, before and after experiment. 3. Identify free throws accuracy changes during the experiment. The research results. Alytus youth basketball players for 30free throws test, the control group average of accurate throws was 20.8 ± 3.4(69.33 percent of free throw accuracy) before the experiment, and the experimental - 19.6 ± 2.2 (65.33 percent of free throw accuracy). The obtained results of the experiment showed that the control group throws an average of 22.7 ± 2.0(75.67 percent of free throw accuracy), and the... [to full text]
